2gb RAM, 16gb ROM and a Quadcore processor OMG you can run a mission to mars with that power! =0
Yes, this smartwatch looks very good. With the 16GB, you must have to use at least 12, so you can easily download and install whatever you need from Google Playstore
Root and TWRP are the only elements that can make this watch worthwhile.
It looks powerful on paper. I look forward to it
I ordered one of these smartwatches just today.
i wonder if there is some kind of booted firmware for it
Hi
I have the watch one week. i would say its work fine, but there is a problem with gps fix. The watch see the satelittes but its dont want to catch a fix. Some other people on roundandriodwatches has the sam problem . I have try to contact with the finow company, but at this time i have any response.

Does this kind of smartwatch have master bluetooth? I would like to connect speakers or heart monitor strap (I do not like light based ones..)
Hey guys, how is the battery life of this watch? I read that most Chinese watches like this one only last 6-8 hours in power saving mode. It has a huge battery. Huawei watch 2 has smaller battery and lasts 40 hours according to Huawei.

Hi
If you dont touch the watch it will hold the power 20 hour, but the watch was not made to run in sleep mode . If You will use it it will run not more then 6-8 hours like you wrote. I did not have the possibility to test the watch wit maps and gps , like i wrote upper the watch dont catch at this time the gps fix , and we wait for an ota update
The Air also has the WCDMA 850 & 1900 (as well as 2100) 3G bands so it should work on both AT&T & T-mobile. Most smart watches seem to only have 850/2100. 850 is AT&T in some (most?) U.S. markets, 2100 is (I think) Europen/Asian markets. So I think that could be an important factor (especially if your in a 1900Mhz only AT&T market).
It's the only 2GB ram/16GB storage whatch I'v run across with the 3G 1900Mhz. I4 AIR and the LEMFO LEM5 are 850/2100 only
How to root and install twrp in FINOW X5 AIR smart watch
I have FINOW X5 AIR since 1 month, waiting for installing TWRP recovery and Root by SuperSU.
Kindly help me by describing and uploading files to do that .
Thanking You All

Hey guys.
Thought i would just rant some thoughts that are in my head.
The galaxy S is starting to become a real popular phone. The thing is the general population are not technically inclined like we are. Most people don't even have kies installed on their computer so how does samsung expect to deliver updates to people since our phone doesn't do OTA (or does it?)
You would think samsung would of included a cd with kies on it and kies to have automatic phone update checking (since the software is confusing as hell to general people). That way people would know to have it installed but it only says in the user manual which most people don't read that kies is needed to sync with the computer.
Samsung has made this killer phone yet ruined it by not producing better computer support with it, along with all the other bugs that shouldn't be on it. This is another reason why iphones dominate because they are so easy to put music onto etc.
I suppose i shouldn't care, cause i know more about the phone then the general pop. but i just hate to see a phone with so much potential wasted.
End Rant, What you guys think?
My brother saw my phone but yet he is getting an iphone 4 or a blackberry torch.
For one, most people don't update the software on their phone, ever. They buy it and it stays that way. iPhone is kind of the exception since people hook it to iTunes all the time and it near-forces updates.
For two, the GalaxyS is OTA update capable. Most Android phones are, its an OS feature not a hardware feature. It is up to the carriers to support this, not Samsung. The carriers have to have software in the OS that background-downloads the image and reboots the phone to flash it.

i tried the BB torch and they keys on the keyboards are too small to be usable at all
my old Treo had a way better feel being small
Galaxy S in the other hand have an almost perfect keyboard being a virtual keyboard in a touch screen, it is not bad at all.

I had blackberries before I picked up my i9000. I hated touch screens until this phone came out, I don't think I will ever go back to using a physical keypad on a mobile after using this.
a couple of friends of mine own this phone and one of them said it was slow as ****, I hardly believed him until he pulled out his phone and showed me... turns out if you have old firmware, install a taskkiller and some apps, but never restart the phone... it gets incredably slow! unusable slow... took 17 seconds to open up the calendar app...
never noticed this as I installed the voodoo kernel almost immediately after I bought the phone, but wondered how many people settled with using this expensive phone this slow...
JH2 isn't OTA capable, those people will need to figure something else out.

hi everyone....
the pop of our world is blind about iphone... they like it cause apple tells them what to do... if the process of upgrade were manual, they would fight to do it..
samsung should incluide the kies on a cd together with the SGS Galaxy but, instead of that it is on they site with the latest Version of drivers up to date, it is not dificult to put songs on any android device.. on any computer connect the usb Storage mode... BOOM there you have it... with iphone only itunes e only one pc...
jesus... can't applemaniacs see the potencial of having a android Sphone...
Sorry about my english.. _s

GLONASS support and fast GPS fix is well know...
Since it works so well, no one cares to complain ( like in SGS ) and less know.
You r right. GPS fix is fastest that i have ever seen. Way better than my garmin devices. Even on a cloudy day
GPS lock is insanely fast on this device. Samsung did a great job on this Peabody.
Barometer.
barometer can only make a difference in the altitude readings ( how high you are ) Broadcom states that the Note can use data from twice as many satellites than, let's say, GS2. And as winnie the pooh said: The more - the mucher
I can't wait to finally have good GPS again. My Captivate actually isn't too bad - for a Captivate. Having come from a Garmin iQue 3600, however, I have been very frustrated with it.

Altitude has always been an issue with GPS. Garmin came out with an aviation 3600 that sold well, but the standard GPS measuring tools are better on the horizontal plane, rather than the vertical, it will be interesting to see how this has advanced.

BCM47511 chipset? I was hoping the Note would have the SirfstarIV chipset...
But seems to be everybody is happy with the Note's Gps performance anyway so....it's all good..
Gonna get my Note in January....it's about time to make new gps videos...
The ones on my sign is from my sgs's eclair times
I can confirm the incredible quick fix of the Note'GPS: the best one I ever had .
Even the sensitivity is great. I just tried now to fix with the phone inside the apartment. It took 8 seconds for a cold fix while other phones or gps system were not even able to get a fix (including my previous GS II) .
In the car it takes +/- 5 seconds for a cold fix. In the past I could start driving for sometime while waiting for the gps fix in other phones or GPS system.
I'm fully satisfied with the note gps.

Yes it seems very nice. However...
I bought one yesterday. It was a bit glitchy right after i started using it, but it stabilized. No problem connecting to my device or running simultaneous bt connections. Sleep monitor was a bit crappy though. Push sleep when you go to bed and wake when you get up, no rocket science. Battery time is NOWHERE close to a week. Two days tops.
Big drawback is the firmware update available via handheld software. In my case it didnt work. It bricked my smartwatch and I'm now waiting for battery to deplete to see what the watch reboots into. On google play store other users described the same problem.
UPDATE: I've been in contact with dev of the official android app to the luxor. He helped me with brick issue by sharing a dev tool and an instructional vid. He was also quick in responding. The device and it's app has many flaws but hopefully there will be development on it. I have found and reported issues. We will see if they are addressed in app updates.
Pm me if you have a bricked luxor lxpm300 and I'll do my best to help.

Talk band makes even more sense now, in light of the x2.
Nice one,
I have preordered mediapad x2 and talkband b2 for the following reasons:
1. I need dual-SIM since I travel abroad very often.
2. I would like to read PDFs and watch movies when I'm in a train and 7" fits the requirement very well.
3. Keep minimum devices on the way.
4. Don't want to keep a phone in hands when talking.
So my mate 7 will go to my wife, though she has honor 6
And now I can put my kindle DX into my home museum

Finow Q1 Pro, it's a square watch available from Finow's store on Aliexpress at the moment, same spec by the looks of it as the Microwear H5, tempted to get one as I really liked the original Finow Q1
Q1 PRO seems better at the battery is bigger 720 mah vs 600 mah H5
H5 is better in camera, it has 5mp vs 2mp Q1 PRO
Q1 PRO is smaller then H5

Yup, got mine the other day, so far so good.
The UI is really good, it even has a full 'stock' settings menu like a regular phone.
My only criticism so far would be that with stock launcher you cannot add Clock skins, however if it is a 'must' for some users then Eric's clock skin launcher on Play store works fine with it.
Only had it a couple of days so not had much of a chance to test it out much, but it seems the battery is holding up good so far.
All in all I would consider it a great purchase! :good:
Good to hear it's going well. Considering buying one for my son. He's 11 and needs a way to stay in touch with me. Don't really want him to have to carry a full sized phone around.
How's the build quality?
How small does the band go?
I've been reading about people having trouble with the magnetic charging system not working on various phones because of problems with sweat/oil getting on the contacts. Hopefully you don't run into that issue!
I can't find any reviews of the watch on YouTube. If you're quick you could be the first

No idea on the band frequency to be honest, and screen resolution 320?

GSM Mode:
EGSM900

WCDMA-IMT-2000
WCDMA-PCS-1900

Don't know if this helps or not?
screen resolution can be set on build. prop - it is currently set at 120
Thanks for your information, I have confirmed with Finow that this watch does not support B:850mhz.

hard to answer as people use their devices differently.
But I get 2 days on a full charge with light/normal use, however I work from home, so only have WiFi on airplane mode on as I don't need calls at home, general use is checking messages, social media, a few video's etc

Hi, I just received mine and am in mixed mood state.
The watch has improved compare to the original model except the screen (240x240) and thickness but the software seems unfinished.
Some bugs are really embarrassing and I hope we will get some updates :
- Sometimes Wifi disconnect and I must reboot my net box to get it work again ! It could be related to the "NVRAM WARNING" problem (Wifi connections list)
- Phone is working but I am unable to connect in 4G/3G (France) and to set any network parameters.
- Push notifications dont come to the watch.
Did someone get rooting this device ?
Sry for my English !
