HI Team,
I am facing a very weird issue in my omnia 2 and would really be grateful if any of the experts here could help me sort this out. I have recently bought an omnia 2. In my Omnia 2 Samsung UI Main Menu Icons have lost their pics and i can see are the fonts. I was tweaking around with my phone when this stuff accidentally happened. On checking the phone it seems that i do have those icons and they work with any ui that i install but the pics of the icons just dont show up at all in the samsung UI main menu and in the others screen in that menu. If someone could help me rectify this without a flash it would really be great as I too want to know how do we rectify such issues on the phone.
Guys any help would be really appreciated. Even if someone can tell me where does the UI pick up the icons from it could be of great help

You dont have to flash. Create a backup with SPB backup to your storage card. Reset/Format and restore the backup.
You can spend more time explaining/trying or spend 1 hour and all is well.
See i will tell you whats the issue theoretically. In the registry there is a command given for the file which will show these icons. It might be missing there. All someone needs to help me is by telling me where is that string in the registry and what string should i replace it with. There are tons of expert modders out here who can help
Does anyone know the real name of this font? I've been trying to figure it out and have been having the hardest time doing so. It's not helvetica. I know that much.
Cheers
Hello,
I have a qeustion, might be a stupid one, but then again, im just a casual user.
I have used the Darkstone superRAM build, and im amazed by the speed and battery life with this build. (actualy everything with it is very good, exept the white status bar .. bleh).
What i would like to know, is there a way to convert the new Gingerbread to superRAM or is there some special coding of the kernel involved (probably)?
Also i have read something about changing android to add free, something with a host file, but cant seem to find it anymore.
And also i would like to know, with the superRAM there is a stock android build with the white status/notification bar, wich i dislike, cause black looks beter to me (dark theme wallpaper etc).
I have been reading alot of topics to change this, but most have alot of work (flashing with clockworks, wich i dont understand etc) with this, anyone a sollution how to change this?
Thanks.
This is a trivial question but I would like to ask. In a ROM, let's say "flexreaper", there is a background -not the home screen wallpaper- that appears in some apps, in flexreaper it is a brown with yellow lines with like a halo effect on it. My question is, can you change this in the system? It has to be somewhere I just don't know where. I do know you would have to find the file in the system ans change it, so does anyone know where it is, what size it is and what format it would have to be. Thank you for your time.
Hello
You can change it using different mod. See the first post of Civato. You have different screen to choose.

Thanks, do you happen to know the path to the file to just change it manually? It's fine if you don't. Just interested in knowing is all, the mod works for now.
One question guys: i have completly unlocked Samsung Omnia 7 and I have been running nokia drive quite happily for few months. But today, I discovered in one of the threads, that changing registry values, like DeviceTargetingInfo can be quite dangerous and it can mess up your marketplace. The thing is, that it is working for me for months, and I dont know what to do next. Should I change it back? But then, where can i find pached Nokia Drive, because, i cant find it.
have a nice day, guys
I a posting here, becasuse I dont have permission to post in developer section.

Do *not* change DeviceTargetingInfo, or you may find Marketplace DRM broken, which will effectively render your phone unable to run any Marketplace apps. I learned this the hard way - so I had to hard reset the phone.
Can somebody tell me, what do I have to write for MODeviceName, OemName?
I decided, to change it back, but i forgot what was there originaly writen. Even If I change MODeviceName to OMNIA 7 and OemName to SAMSUNG, I still have NOKIA marketplace. So, if you have omnia 7, can you be so kind and check these settings?
thanke you
