I have a problem with micro usb cable - YotaPhone

Hi, Yotaphone fans
Sorry for my english I'm French
I have a yotaphone 2 YD201, Android 6.0.1 and I have a problem with the original micro usb cable or others smartphones micro usb cables. When I plug the micro usb cable into the Yotaphone 2, it doesn't plug correctly. It doesn't go until the end of the yotaphone connector and it move into the connector.
If i try to push the micro usb cable, it forces into the yotaphone connector. The connector is not brocken or twisted.
Same problem with Nokia Lumia and Sony Xperia M2 micro usb cables.
Have you an idea ?
Thank you

USB Cables Problem

What is the difference between DC-U100 and DC-U300 USB cables?
I know that DC-U100 has a miniUSB and DC-U300 - HTC ExtUSB connector. In my box there was a DC-U100 USB cable and it was a problem with connecting the phone to the computer. Replacing the cable fixes the problem.
Does anyone knows what is the difference in these cables?

OTG or regular USB cable for external keyboard?

I have been using a ps2-active usb adapter to run my old clicky keyboard to my A200, but thought that I will be upgrading to a 500 or 510 or 700 shortly so was going to try a micro usb-> female full sized usb cable since the full sized usb port is missing on most current tablets. I bought one on amazon but didn't get any connection and then saw it was a OTG cable after I ordered. I wasn't even sure to check first hand if there is any difference between a micro -> female full usb port cable that is OTG vs. non-OTG... or if I just have a defective cable.

[Q] Note 3 Charging port options??

Hi
Now that Note 3 has a USB 3.0 charging port, is there a way to use the old Micro USB cable just for charging?
I have Note 2 & have four chargers with Micro USB cable for Home, Office, Travel & Car.
If I upgrade, all this will go waste. So I want to know if I can use these cabls for chargin purpose for N3.
Also is there a converter for Micro USB to USB 3.0 for charging purpose etc?
Pl do share options for me
Thanks

Search and you shall find your answer. It's backward compatible as mentioned in the other threads.

It`s a dual port. You can use your old cables with it.
You will notice that the USB 3.0 cable seems to consist of two connected parts - there's a reason for this, and that's because it does consist of two connected parts!
Regular MicroUSB cables can be inserted in the "wider" part of the USB 3.0 port.

Female micro-USB 3.0 connectors have always fit male micro-USB 2.0 cables just fine. Anyone who's owned a 2.5" USB 3.0 external HDD could've told you that years ago. The extra pins fit beside the existing 2.0 pins. It's the only way that makes sense.

micro 2 usb type c adaptor

I been using the adaptor that converts your micro USB to USB type c. It seems to work fine but I was wondering should I just buy whole new cables. Are the cables any different or just the plug ends different ?
I just want make sure I keep the fast charge compliance.
Thanks

You can use any cable as long as you end up connecting the USB-C to the S8 and whatever it is the connector for the powebank output.
