A bug in Settings -> Search? - Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Questions & Answers

After updating the MIUI to 10.3.5.0 (Global ver), I noticed the top search result in Settings gets hidden underneath the search bar (see attached pic).
This is a stock rom, bootloader not unlocked yet. Anybody has same issue?

Figured out.
If "Animator duration scale" is set to OFF, this problem occurs.

Click to collapse
settings > xye tools > status extra > set navigation bar color to black
if that doesnt work, check your "transparency settings", i have clicked "link..." and "match..."...but i'm not sure if that have any effect to it.
hope it helps

[Q] Dirty Unicorns - Status Bar Brightness Slider

Hey, I don't know if this question even fits here, I wasn't allowed to post in the Mako DU Thread so I was referred here.
I have a very simple question. Where can I find the status bar brightness feature in the latest DU 7.9 release?
I've searched through the Google+ page and through xdadevelopers, however, every answer I'm given goes something similiar to: settings -> dirty tweaks -> status bar -> battery/clock -> misc. I'm going through it but there's nothing there. I've checked the brightness option under 'Display' in device settings but nothing there either.
I apologise for the unnecessary trouble.
Best Regards,
KD
bump
Hello again, I've tinkered around with the available settings some more and figured out where the brightness slider via status bar setting was moved to.
For anyone that's been looking for the option on the Nexus 4, 7.9 release, I found it here:
Settings
Dirty Tweaks
Under "General UI"
Look for "Misc Tweaks"
it's the second box under 'STATUSBAR SIGNAL"
This wasn't mentioned anywhere in the official DU thread, or maybe I must've missed it. I apologise for any harm done.
Best regards,
KD

exclamation triangle sign on top left of status bar

Hello. i have just flashed my note3 with aryamod 7.2 lolipop and lean kernal 6.3. The phone works fine, but there is this exclamation sign on the top left corner on the phone. I have tried pulling down the notification drop-down to check for any notification relating to the exclamation, but not a single hint is shown. Also, i could not see any progress bar e.g. how many percent done for downloading file or app update, on the notification panel. Another issue is that i am having the information such as rom, uptime, phone model etc shown on my lock screen, how do i turn that off?
thank you for responding:laugh:

Samsung S6 Edge + auto rotation setting disappeared

Hi All,
I recently disabled auto rotation via the pull down shade. After I had disabled the setting, the bubble vanished from the shade. A few days later when I wanted to enable auto rotation again, I could not find the setting anywhere.
I looked in the pull down shade, when I click to edit the settings shown in the shade it was not there, and neither is it under the display settings. I searched for it (used various variants such as "Screen", "Rotation", "Auto" etc) on the S Finder as well as with the Google Search bar, no luck.
I am on the unlocked (/international) variant, SM-G928C running 5.1.1 Build number LMY47X. No root, no custom kernel or OS.
Has anyone experienced this and, if so, been able to solve it?
Thank you
No, I haven't experienced any issue yet on my variant. I'm on AT&T and I keep toggling between auto rotation on and off!

Strange bug searching in settings

Hello everyone. I'm using MIUI global 11.0.5 and when i use the search bar inside settings the first result is always "hidden" as you can see from screenshot. Is it a common issue?
Problem solved. This kind of bug pops up when you remove animations.
