i just updated my xylon to 2.7 from 2.4 and i have noticed that my nagivation bar has become transparent instead of black. it's very distracting.
is it a new thing of xylon? or bug? any way to make it black again? i've tried the XY setting but i found nothing can change it.
edit: sorry, found out there is a new option in the setting. problem solved.
i have same problem. i cannot found where the setting. cuold you teach me, please.

Hi everyone,
I have issues with my eyes (cataracts) so I need to have the invert colours options on my quick settings when I need to invert the colours. For the past few weeks I have gone from rom to rom and no matter which one I try when I click the option to invert colours in the accessibility page the invert colours toggle no longer appears in the quick settings. Personally I would rather set it up as a gesture as I use it a lot but if not the quick settings was the next best thing and now it is gone. Can someone please help. It is hard for me to read normally and without colour inversion it makes using the phone very tough. .
Thank you

If you pull down the quick settings then long press the settings cog wheel you unlock 'system UI tuner', go to that then 'quick settings', what worked for me is deleting the 'invert colours' tile then adding it again, now it's in my quick settings. Hope it helps!

That's odd, it worked for me.
I'm on stock 6.0.1, unrooted.

I have the same problem, I dont use Invert colours, but found this problem. When changing quick settings in settings the icon for Invert colours is present. But when pulling down the quick settings the Invert colours icon is gone. Very strange

I will unroot and see if that works.
You first have to enable the Color Inversion display in the Settings > Accessibility menu. Once you enable it, the toggle will appear in Quick Settings.

I have seen this yesterday, but decided to restart my phone and it solved the issue. Try turning off then turning back on if restart didn't help.

Thanks.. Strange, I did restart yesterday.. But nothing worked
But after restart issues resolved..
Had the same issue today. Restarting helped.
I now have a transparent white bar on my nav bar on the home screen. I can not get rid of it even with reboot

Try wiping the cache and reboot..
Try going to Settings > Display > Navigation bar > and unchecking "Show and hide button". You could also uncheck the "Apply current theme" option if you want to set the color manually.
In s8 plus I am facing same issue

Hello, today I noticed that small quick settings (tiles in 1 row) doesn't work properly:
1) Tiles are invisible - I just see white background although they are working when I tap on white space.
2) Small quick settings are interfering with larger quick settings menu - when I try to tap on brightness slider, I often tap on invisible tile from small quick settings.
Restarting phone and resetting quick settings does nothing.
Can somebody tell me how can I fix it? I hope my problem is understandable.
Have you installed any substratum theme with a white overlay? I suspect it.

I haven't.
Nova Launcher is the only app that I'm using to customize my Android but it shouldn't affect quick settings. I changed the launcher to default (Launcher3) to make sure - the problem is still there.
I searched thoroughly and couldn't find a thread or a fix. Where do we edit the quick settings in the notification pulldown? Mine is blank, and I don't readily see it in Settings, nor is there an edit function in the pulldown. Suggestions?
You don't have the editing pencil icon on there?

Nah, it's straight blank...
Someone else here solved that by rebooting the phone. Afterward the pencil icon appeared and they were able to set it up. Can't remember which thread at this point.
I've rebooted twice. No success...
Pull down the notifications and then pull down again on the (blank for you currently) quicksettings section and you'll see pencil that lets you edit

Oddly enough, I was able to get the quick settings to show up on the lockscreen. I edited it from there, and voila. It's a wierd glitch...

Thanks for this. JUST picked up mine and was going crazy since I wasn't seeing the toggles. Very odd that it comes up blank like that out of the box.
Hey I found out the issue here. I had the same thing happen with the T-mobile variant. I did a factory reset and restored my google account and it was still missing. I did a second factory reset and didn't restore and sure enough it showed up. I then did the oneplus restore and nothing changed. I then got the phone unlocked and still no issue. After a restart everything was fine and then I did a google restore. I chose only to restore call logs and messages. The second it was done the quick settings disappeared again. This is clearly an issue with google and this device. Not sure if it's a T-Mobile issue specifically

Ah, thank you, that fixed it for me. Mine was looking just like yours. And when I locked the screen and then pulled down the notifications drawer, a pencil did appear which let me fix it all up.
I think I might know what broke it for me. When I upgraded my OnePlus 5 from OxygenOS 5.1.7 to 9.0.3, I still had jOnePlus Tools [adb/root] by JRoot3D.dev installed, and it was changing how many quick settings tiles are shown after one swipe down (in the single row). I think it was essentially doing this:
Code:
adb shell settings put secure sysui_qqs_count 8
When I used the app to change that number, all my quick settings tiles disappeared. The app has not been updated in a while, so I'm going to keep it off my phone until it's updated for Android Pie
Just as a quick update on this. This is still a problem on the T-Mobile device on 9.0.13 fully stock.
I guess this must then mean that the quick setting cannot be hidden on the lockscreen...

Actually, I think I found a better solution here.
The trick seems to be that on the unlocked version of the shade, the pencil and user switcher icons only show up when you expand the QS panel. However, if you don't have enough icons in the panel to force the need for the additional row (there is a little hint that shows up when you drag an icon that indicates that you need at least 6 icons), then you can't swipe it down, and there no icons or any warning of any sort are shown.
The shade on the lockscreen doesn't appear to enforce that icon minimum, so the pencil and user switcher show up fine (perhaps this is due to the fact that on the lockscreen, the notifications themselves don't live in the shade as they do when the device is unlocked).
It also seems like older OOS versions didn't enforce that icon minimum, so if you only had, say 4 icons (not sure who would do that), then did an upgrade, you would have this strange behavior.
Did a quick search and couldn't find anything.

That's just for the phone in general. Doesn't adjust notification font or icon size.

I just tried it and it made everything grotesquely huge. Icons, notification text, everything. In older versions of Android it didn't use to.

Yea, I mean that's a basic feature. You would think MIUI would have it since it's big time into customization.
I've just told you that MIUI does have it. Try it

Oh right. I just assumed you tried to do it with something else. I'll look for the setting. If you mean accessibility I already have that adjusted.
Now what exactly do you mean by the notification font/icons? Do you mean only the top row of the phone with the mini icons for battery, signal level etc.? If that's what you meant, then yeah, without rooting I don't think you can do anything with that. However, the setting that I mentioned really enlarges almost everything in the system. What remains the same size is the top row and the size of toggles in the notification shade.
To enlarge the status bar you could probably use some on-demand zooming after setting it up in accessibility settings.

Yes, the top. Nothing can be done really to it without root. I tried all accessibility settings and none affect that.

I used to use "Status" in the Play store for those settings but it won't work on Pie. Didn't need root either.
I tried pushing the Display size in Accessibility settings to the max (Larger), and it increases the size of everything, but the top row only slightly.
Another setting that might be useful, but not so much if you need it larger all the time, is turning on "magnify with triple-tap". Then you can triple tap the notification row to enlarge it temporarily.

I mean I can see the entirety of the phone with settings set to large, but the notification bar is even more tiny than what I would have been comfortable with before I needed glasses. Thanks for trying tho, I appreciate it. I may root after all but I do like the MUIU set up.
NotchTest
I use Notch Test to fix the current problem of notifications not showing/staying in the notification bar. There is a setting within it to set the icon size. Mine is currently set at 60 which matches clock etc but it could be set larger if wanted. Would not affect the clock or network icons etc though..........
I ended up rooting my Redmi Note 7. All is well now with my Metallica vision issues and the phone.
