Software CD/DVD - Nokia 6 Questions & Answers

when you connect your nokia 6 via usb it makes two connections, one is the file transfer or mtp or whatever you selected and then there's the nokia software cd/dvd which i'm guessing is just a partition formatted in cdfs or udf
is there any way to get rid of this "partition" or whatever else it may be?
currently if my phone is connected while i restart ithe pc ts automatically selected by efi as the boot device, also i don't like it appearing in my file manager
this is what i'm talking about:

Nope, not without breaking your phone. You'd need a new partition table.

So i recently switched to a macbook and im trying to load a new rom onto my mytouch and i have a couple issues since i dont have a pro i just have the new unibody macbook i dont have an SD slot to load a rom onto the memory card and then load it via update.zip.
So im wondering is there a way to turn to load the ROM onto the memory card via usb (usb mass storage) or something tried searching here and tried googling mac+mytouch load roms and didnt really get anywhere so i was hoping someone can give me a push or shove in the right direction

Do you have a usb data cable?if you have one,you can do this.
1.Connect your macbook and mytouch by the usb data cable.
2.Slide down the status bar(on the top),like this

}
3.then you'll see a new usb disk on your macbook.this is your sd card storage.
In addition, you can download an fastboot for mac.loading roms by this.

I flashed froyo to install CM7.
RSD Lite said it was done and i should boot it up manually but the phone was already on. so I shut it down and the powered it back on again. still same message. so I simply close the program.
I then rooted it and now when i try to move 2nd init recovery to the sd card via usb I can't because it just shows that the phone is connected but i have no access to insert files.
what have i done wrong and how do i fix it?

Make sure to select USB mass storage mode. Try enabling/disabling USB debugging.
If that doesn't work, then use a card reader to check if the sdcard is readable on PC. If it is readable, then wait a while.
For me it takes a while to get connected (maybe because of large card 32gb) and sometimes the phone reboots itself and then connects (related to launcher).

Well, I got a new one, so now everything works just fine, thank you

Anyone want to tackle this one?

I had a hidden partition on my hard drive where they created a server that placed me under a work profile. I somehow got access to a file on my network [ I forgot how I did it] and changed some 0 and 1 around in some of the system files, and then my phone got downloads because, I think, my computer thought my phone was the server. I don't know... but I removed my hard drive, and the devices in the BIOS were setup to occupy my RAM with their control. I'm not sure if I was battling an algorithm or live hackers or both. But this picture was the command windows options menu, and I'm not sure if this is normal, but I believe they were gaining access through my color options in the command line. They have updated software on my old ipod back in 2012. I know a few of them personally, and one posted a wisecrack on Facebook about the military's abilities the same day my ipod got screwed out of my control by a software update. They get their schemas from, in this case, www.3w.com if my memory serves me. It's an architect company, but the schemas they use on my computer allow them to hijack my computer by using false security codes. One of my system files in booting has a command that upon power up, opens a command window then deletes the trace, and everything in my booting loads from their devices, and that command window opens on their server. Any ideas? I'm not sure I really want to fight the owners of this Earth, because I believe that is ultimately who I am dealing with.
You wouldn’t believe me if I told you the truths of how I know this. Anyways, I'll be glad to hand over my laptop if anyone wants to check it out

NTFS formatted USB: my HU sees it sometimes

Hi, I formatted a USB key with the NTFS system. When I plug it into the USB port of my HU Xtrons PSA80DCRL (Android 10), the system file manager sometimes sees it perfectly and I can browse through files and folders, but very often it doesn't see anything.
What could be the problem?
Thank you.
Hi, if USB is unplugged without eject command in PC or headunit system will render it as not working or unreadable. Try EJECTING USB first before unplugging from any system (PC or headunit).

Can charge over USB but not able to connect to transfer files or via ADB even in recovery?

Hi, I have a rooted X Compact that's running on Lineage OS with twrp recovery. Can anyone give me any tips on how to debug this if there's any solution? I noticed I no longer can connect via USB. I'm on Linux and I don't see the device on lsusb or adb devices. I don't have access to a windows device at the moment . Even when I go to recovery and try to mount is there it's not working or showing up. Any ideas how to debug this or what could be going on? Thanks.

I've got a same problem with my X Compact. I think it's the charge port. I'm replacing it next week and will let you know if it solves the issue.
Dave
Hi. I have now replaced the USB 'C' port and my Xperia is now visible as shown. I'm using Windows 10.
