I've been reading at Redmi Note 4 (Snapdragon) thread, where users could succesfully change those values, but despite of being a Snapdragon device, files are quite different in format, and even locations are way different, so I wasn't able to do the task. However, it was interesting to see that.

Hi guys,
I'm trying to figure out how to unlock the bootloader of the ZE500KL, I have a full dump and I think that we can unlock it by modifying the aboot.bin file.
Tryied to decompile it, but not understand the output code at all because it is with addresses. Can someone help me?
Here the zip with decompiled files.
c file contains functions, svg are graphs of the functions that can be opened and viewed with google chrome, and dsm file is low level code I think, there are some interesting strings in it.

Have you tried what the zenfone 2 does? seeing as they are fairly similar phones http://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone2/general/congrats-to-bootlocker-unlocked-t3138547

UPDATE:
Tried shakalaka method and doesn't work, copied the key in asuskey file in /factory but at reboot in bootloader nothing happens!
These phones share naming, but under the hood they are completely different. The ZF2 is using an Intel processor and the Laser is using a SnapDragon 615 ARM processor. It would be better to look at common unlocking methods for similarly spec'd devices. Asus tends to not alter to much from standard design specs released by the SoC manufacturer. This phone is also just now getting released in the U.S so support may take a while to get development picked up. Keep an eye on 23 pin's blog because he does a lot of work with varying models of Asus devices.
Hello everyone,
Somehow I ended with a Fake Xiaomi Redmi Note 3G with (obviously) different hardware specifications.
I've extracted the ROM from the fake one to keep it safe.
The only hack I've done till now is modifying the EBR files and the scatter file according with those ones for extending the space available for installing apps.
Is there any way that I can MOD an official/original version of the ROM for my fake version?

Is there a way to install the NetHunter Kernel on Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime? I tried many ways, but I've didn't work. Note, I don't want the apps, I want the kernel because the kernel does all the work, it supports the compatibility with a WiFi adapter. I saw something on yt, about building your own Kali NetHunter kernel, for any Android device, but I'm not quite sure. I bricked my phone so many times trying to find a way, but I'm not afraid because I know how to unblock with MiFlash, and I have the miui 10.2.2.0 rom file, unbricking nu device without erasing my data, just eliminating twrp and root access, but I can do it again.
So guys pls give me a solution, it doesn't matter if it is the crazyest one, because I will know how to solve it

I have Redmi note 4 Snapdragon version miui 8.10.0 MCFMIDI global stable. I was having problems with external Sd card dislodged abruptly so I did factory reset (soft reset) through twrp and restored all my apps now I am facing lot of difficulty in developer option Install via usb is not working,It says temporarily restricted, I don't know what is happening because of this I can't use Titanium Backup (Lost all backup in factory reset). I searched Internet couldn't find solutions somebody says user Vpn and connect to China server etc etc,did lot of things but still not working.
I also can't sign out of mi account also. Screen shot attached.
I want also want to know could this be that India has blocked Chinese apps including Xiaomi Mi community app.
Please anyone can provide solution.

I know its a quite old post but if anyone faces this issue install the latest version of miui global rom and flash it.
Thanks a lot for taking the time to reply even for an old post. I am quite comfortable with the rom I am using. Searching the internet and xda itself I found that this problem occurred in the later versions of MI rom also as lot of people were complaining.
Using RN4 Now as a backup phone with still a lot important data in it which I can't experiment with flashing Rom as I am not that an advanced user. In past suffered huge data loss due to flashing Rom and some other experiments.
