friends, I have xt1640, after it upgraded to android 8.1, the cell phone ran out of network service, I downgraded, and nothing ...
What does your baseband report in Settings>About phone? Do you see your IMEI in Settings as well?
A side note, if you've downgraded, do not use stock OTA updates. You'll hard brick your device else, and the fix is expensive.

the mobile was working perfectly ... after it updated via OTA, for 8.1 it was out of service, the baseband is ok, when I'm going to call it it says to disable the airplane mode

Hmm, that's odd - did you try to re-flash the Oreo stock firmware? https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g4-plus/how-to/stock-rom-npjs25-93-14-4-march-1-t3608138
When you downgraded, did you erase modemst1 and modemst2? Have you verified your IMEI is present and your SIM card is still working (i.e. try it in another device) and you do not have network issues?

I'm not sure if your Oreo modemst would be working with your Nougat baseband if you're still downgraded. You might like to backup your modemst with Lyuu's TWRP (back up your EFS) and then try erasing modemst. The Oreo OTA update would have erased the modemst1/modemst2 (EFS) as part of its update.

Did you flash Lyuu's TWRP as I mentioned? https://forum.xda-developers.com/mo...t/recovery-team-win-recovery-project-t3842903 Other TWRP recoveries may not be able to back up this partition.

Okay, I'll do it tomorrow morning and post the result, so I backup efs, I delete the modemst partition, and install the 8.1 stockrom, right? I do not do it now, because of the schedule, it's already late here, but thanks for your attention,

Yeah - so the plan is:
1)Backup your EFS (though it might be already damaged, might as well keep it safe).
2)Erase modemst1/modemst2 via fastboot. Reboot. Test if SIM service is working. Check IMEI and baseband (baseband should be reporting ATHENE_BRAZIL_DSDS_CUST, and ending in 77R if on Oreo, .62.02R if on April 2018 stock Nougat).
3)If device is still not in service, flash stock Oreo firmware. You do not need to re-lock, so you could omit the fastboot OEM lock begin commands to avoid locking the bootloader.

Your baseband, modern or fsg is corrupted, it is reporting DFLT_FSG as the suffix - for your device, it should be reporting ATHENE_BRAZIL_DSDS_CUST or similar. Your baseband clearly is not okay, was it DFLT_FSG also when you updated to Oreo via OTA?
You could try this https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g4/how-to/baseband-change-t3762270

I am asking that when you flashed the Oreo OTA, did you observe DFLT_FSG in your baseband?
You could try:
Download the factory firmware here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=76406797&postcount=11 Do not flash this firmware.
Extract the firmware, and open the extracted firmware folder.
Find the programutags.bat in the folder.
Run the .bat script and follow the instructions.

1) you should be able to use this procedure, this thread you're replying in had a similar scenario to you.
2) make sure the firmware you've downloaded is the correct size. I've just checked and it's 893 MB in size. The first download I tried failed towards the end.
3)I used the app 7-zipper, with the password lenovo-forums.ru and it seemed to work. Not sure why you're having trouble extracting the files, I'd try to redownload the firmware. I don't know if the script on its own works or if you need the full firmware.
Also, please note these are not real time forums, repeatedly posting will not necessarily make a member post any faster. I get you're frustrated by your device only partially working, please be patient.

Was your device booted to fastboot for this procedure, as requested by the script? Does your device properly communicate with your computer in fastboot (i.e. if you type fastboot devices into an ADB terminal, does your device respond with its serial number)?

Hello, anybody got NXT-L29C432B580 full zip?
It appears on http://hwmt.ru/oth/HWFF/info/view.php?find_model=NXT-L29C432 but I'm unable to download it.
I've downloaded b581, but I can't flash (or dload) it over b560 (I assume that I need to do b560 -> b580 -> b581).
A new update do fast ? Have anyone had success to install this without root?

I've successful to download the full package of the B580 via Firmware Finder app but that's all! I did'nt test more. Because at moment where I've been motivated to test it, people (OldDroid) talked us about of B581. I don't see the B581 with FF, so I can't have the full package and I tried the B581 via dload. Doesn't work like B580! If I install it via TWRP, I miss some apps... and sometimes they are really important in order to start a fresh installation, like keyboard. I've already had this issue.
Finally, i'm not sure it will work with TWRP like I want.

Cannot flash this
unable to install
Hi,
I'm also unable to install this firmware... when attempting to flash it I get errors (error 7).
process followed:
- format data
- wipe (all, but sd card)
- install root
- install hw_eu
- install public
- install update.zip
- reboot
- factory reset
The build number states NRD90M test-keys instead of the actual build number.
How to properly go to that L29 ROM?
I installed 581 by extracting the .img files from update.app. Couldn't do it any other way. I had issues with tethering greyed out and now it works. That's about all it did for me.

I used Huawei update extractor to extract the .img files from update.app
I used SRKTool to make it easy to install the .img files. copied the img files into the \unbrick directory
Put phone into fastboot mode (power plugged in, vol down, then power) (Used option 7 then 14 to install using SRK tool.)
Did the remaining files manually using the platform tools (fastboot flash boot boot.img [for example])

Hi guys,
I hope you can enlighten me regarding my bricked phone.
I tried to convert to Dual SIM following this guide:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/p8lite/general/guide-debranding-converting-single-sim-t3305977
I tried to flash the version (ALE-L02) that was in that guide and but it failed during the fastboot process because of a partittion error. I guess that was because I've tried to flash a stock room from a different model version (mine is PRA-LX1).
To get the phone back up I tried to flash one of this stockrooms:
http://www.stechguide.com/download-huawei-p8-lite-2017-android-nougat-firmware/
https://www.guidebeats.com/2017/02/21/nougat-b140-huawei-p8-lite-2017/
Because I don't have a micro sd card at the moment I used the huawei extractor tool to remove the boot, cust, recovery and system from the files I got from those sites and try to flash via flashboot. The process is done without any kind of errors.
First boot after flash the phone appears that it will start because it displays the logo and the blue bubbles but soon after stays like the image here: https://s1.postimg.o...172118b7227.jpg and wont boot.
What should I do ?
Many thanks!

Try resetting from Huawei recovery. I know it may seems that it won't make a difference but since you don't have any sdcard it is worth a shot.

So...quick update: I was able to get a sdcard and tried to update the firmware that I got from the firmware finder. When I start the process "holding volum up + down and the power button" the instalation stops at 5%. I really don't know how to get around this.
you're flashing the wrong firmware dude... the PRA-LX1 i for Huawei P8 Lite 2017... all the firmwares starting with ALE-LXX are for Huawei P8 Lite....

I understand that but I got the firmware from firmware finder and downloaded the version for my firmware and still it can't pass the 5% instalation process if connected to the pc. If is not connected to the pc it says instalation failed
any ideias how I could solve this ? I tried to install the firmware PRA-LX1C33B130 from firmware finder but it's stops at 5%. Do I need the exact firmware (PRA-LX1C33B120) ? If so, I really can't find it.

This page has all the official firmware for your device. Press the update button to download one. Make sure it's C33xxxx (you can press F3/Ctrl+F and search for "C33") and that it's the full version, not OTA. Then follow the second half of this guide.

When I tried the dload method: Instalation failed at 5%. It's similar to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=16rHgp0GZ48 (1m30s) but with the screen saying my bootloader is unlocked.
When i flash it with fastboot it just stays like this : https://www1-lw.xda-cdn.com/files/2016/10/unlocked.jpg
can someone enlighten me on this subject? any ideas ?
I know I might be off topic, but anyone else had gapps removed after bootloader unlocking ? to be more specific, after I had unlocked the bootloader using adb and fastboot,I got a restart of the device and going directly to the main screen with some apps missing ( GPlay, google folder with gmail and stuff ) What I can do ? I got the PRA-LX1C432B126 firmware version. I also have the screen that squallx85 has ( the one who tells me that my phone is unlocked and no more trusted )

Hi,
Do you have solved your problem ?
Best Regards
Hi, I have nougat with magisk December update, and I'm trying since 2 days to update it to the latest version (can't install the 60 MB update, probably cause magisk) so I'm looking for a clean boot.img in order to flash it in recovery (my magisk boot.img backup is screwed)
Thanks

Well, not exactly. You can browse through the zip. It should be there inside some folder. Send me a link to it, I too need it!
But yes you have to download the whole update to get the boot.img
Ok, extracted the boot.img, flashed using twrp image flash (selected boot) and bootloop. Gotta lose some data now...
Use MiFlash tool to flash the update!
You'll not lose your data!

Use MiFlash! Check out the tutorial for it, it's not that hard. Plus, you get to keep your data!
I cant seem to find the update anywhere..
Dude you just downloaded it, didn't you?
Yeah but its the full rom, will it reset my data?
Not if you use the MiFlash tool. It's for windows. Download it, install it to your windows machine. Search for its guide, its not that hard to follow!
Thanks a lot guys, I flashed system with mi flash and I did not lost data, I'm also finally installing the update. One last question: Now that system is reflashed, does that mean that it is completely stock? I mean, are boot.img from slots a and b totally stock?
Flash stock rom whith MI tool flash

Hey Guys
In this therad I am post both imei 0 0 and VoLTE fix.
How to get VoLTE for any custom ROM
1) Go To TWRP and Wipe and Flash Pixel Experience (any ,I tested on Pixel Experience)
2) boot your device if imei is 0 go to fastboot
3) Type
Code:
fastboot erase modemst1
fastboot erase modemst2
fastboot reboot
4) your IMEI should be back and 4G will be working
(Back up your EFS in TWRP)
Now How to Get VoLTE Follow Next Step Below
After above step take Backup of EFS using TWRP
1) Now flash twrp flashable Stock ROM
Link :
https://forum.xda-developers.com/g5-plus/development/rom-twrp-flashable-stock-builds-t3675616/amp/
2) Download this persist
https://forum.xda-developers.com/g5-plus/how-to/solved-volte-fix-lost-flashing-stock-rom-t3773524
3)Now you have to put this backup in twrp backup folder.
4)after this first you have to restore your own EFS backup( that we have backuped)
5)Then restore this persist backup.
6) reboot your device
Boom VoLTE is back
Now flash any Custom ROM you like , VoLTE will be working
You can also reclock the bootloader after fixing VoLTE on stock ROM
remember "Do at your own risk,I am not responsible if anything goes wrong" This works for me and before doing this make sure you have all your Backups
TWRP :
I have tried just about every permutation of these instructions, no joy.
Still stuck on IMEI 0 no matter how many times I try it. US Retail (unlocked version - Potter)
Thank you! Will try it and update the comment.
Can anyone confirm this..?? Plz?!!

Do not try the guide in this thread. Flashing another device's persist will end up permanently ruining your phone.
Can someone please lock this awful thread?
It has made a lot of expensive paperweights!

Please lock this thread and erase the OP. It's created a paperweight out of my phone until I can follow some other advice and barely get my EFS/Persist working again.
Hello, I have been trying to fix this oddly specific issue with my Moto G7 running LineageOS. I can make and receive calls fine, but I have issues receiving texts. I can send them, but replies are delayed from a few minutes to an hour or two. I am unsure of why this has happened, but I remember trying to install LineageOS for Micro G and noticing this after. However, I didn't happen to be texting much before this, so it may not be relevant.
Anyways, I went to Verizon twice and they confirmed there was no issue with the sim card. However, when they tried replacing it, the system didn't recognize it at all and it couldn't even make a phone call.
I am honestly stuck and I do not know where to go from here. I've tried finding stock firmware but the issue persists after flashing what I THINK is the correct firmware and reinstalling. I really don't want to have to pay for a new phone (one that would likely be way more expensive than this one), so please give me anything I could work with.
Go back to stock 10, make calls and texts (including MMS), and then twrp, los17.1, gapps, root and start over
What's your phone model?

May have to erase modem partitions and then reinstall stock 10 using "adb shell" command while in fastboot mode:
dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/modemst1
dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/modemst2
I have the same model, I'll try your solution now.

After installing the firmware, my device does not boot and stays on the unlocked bootloader warning. I can easily reinstall LineageOS, but my issue still persists.

Do you mean that stock 10 won't boot? Any errors while installing stock 10? Which batch file did u use to automate all the fastboot commands?
Fastboot batch file
Unzip for bat file, put file in adb folder which should have all the files of stock ROM zip file that's been unzipped, and run it at dos prompt

Okay I went back to stock and found that the issue was not present. I shall report this to the LineageOS devs or something. Is there anything else this could possibly be?
Once VZW drops CDMA and adopts GSM, this prob will be gone (1/2021)
