3.what will flashing my phone do to G3
4. i done vol down+home+power button but nothing happens i go to silent task manager opens
5. pls don't flame this thread i just need help
Thanks to all that help i really need it
1. Every Rom is different... Read the topics and you will see what you get...
2. Yes you can OC your Phone but if you are a noob I wouldn't recommend. But if you are willing to take some chances! There are a few ROMS they are made for Overclocking.
3. It will do nothing with your 3G. It will maybe make it a little stronger or faster but it wouldn't do much if I'm wright.
4. You need to shut down your phone first and then do that combo... If your phone is on it doesn't work!

In POX i introduced a tweak that makes 3g go maximum speed
hi
Dear their is no easy way to learn u need to read
ur not an idiot ur just a little lazy
start here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=858583
everything u need is their then start asking the questions u will positively get help
as one of my bosses said its not rocket science u just need to read & understand and then ask the questions
ok so i found good rom kyrillos http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=957123
but if i want to install i need to know how to use this :
You must know how to use odin!
Recommended firmware before flash: Any
Optional make a backup of your data (with Titanium).
Go in download mode (Vol down + Home + Power or from the power menu).
Open Odin, click reset files, select ops, tick one package and select the "Flash_this_as_one-package.tar" file.
Click Start. The phone will reboot in recovery. WIPE DATA! (The wipe process may take a minute+, dont worry. The boot process may be long too, but dont worry its normal!!)
Optional, Partition your sd!
-Make a backup of your sdcard, enter CWM recovery and go to advanced => partition sd. Choose the sizes you want. After the partition completes, wipe data and reboot
Install titanium and go to titanium backup's preferences and select the default install location => internal. Then do your restore...
Enjoy!
how can i do that
i turned it off and press vol down+power off + home and it say downloading do not turn off target!!! what to do???
Well, his tutorial is really nub friendly, so you just need to read what is written there. You need to install drivers for your mobile phone. I did it through official Samsung web page ( please look around cos I'm not able right now to look for you ). Install all these drivers. Connect phone via usb cable included in package, open ODIN, do what is written in tutorial and you are done in 15 minutes with all this. Its really easy, but you just have to read around and not skip any of steps written in any of tutorial here.
I'm also new user of SG3, to be more specific its my first smartphone, I have it for 1 week or so, but I have read almost all topics written here, and I did all this stuff without one single problem.

Hey, I am having a hard time right now, but maybe someone from this forum could help me out. I have I Galaxy S4 GT i9505, which right now is not booting anywhere. This all started after the automatic update that the phone did by itself.
So the thing is that I can get the phone to Download mode but not into recovery mode, every time I try to put the phone to recovery mode it freezes with the blue text in the left upper corner (RECOVERY BOOTING....), By installing the CF_auto_root I got the recovery mode to display a text (RECOVERY IS NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING) and after that the phone freezes.
Also Odin do recognize my device, and it passes when I flash, lets say, a new Rom to my phone. Anyway the problem is that I can't get the phone to boot at all, and I don't really have a clue in which order I should flash the files, Do I start by installing I9505XXUFNA1_I9505OXAFNA1_I9505XXUFNA1_OXA.zip using Odin 3.09 (of course I extract the zip file). and after that I flash a custom recovery? Anyway you get the point, that I don't really have any idea what I am doing.
What I think I should do is to flash the stock Rom including every file (PIT,BL,AP,CP,CSC,UMS). Might this help? And is there a recovery included in those files? It feels to me that i tried to flash so much stuff on my phone that i should do a full wipe? And put it in a stock flash?
I spent now 2 days surfing and trying to find an answer for my questions and I am close to a nervous break down so I was hoping, maybe someone from this forum could guide me, and maybe give me a link to something that should take my phone back from the dead? Sorry for my bad English, and for my poor experience with android devices.
Greetings Rasmus Palmgren From Finland
Is it ur phone branded?
*EDIT: 1. Calm urself, getting nervous we dont gona solve nothing

download this firmware samsung-updates.com/details/19160/Galaxy_S_4_Snapdragon/GT-I9505/NEE/I9505XXUEMKF.html, unzip, put .tar file in odin as AP and flash it, wipe data and cache after flashing
Hey Guys,
First post on here I have read the site alot though, I've rooted and installed CM yadda yadda from the help of this site. Otherwise complete n00b hence the willing to pay thing.
OK FIRST IS FIRST, I AM THE OWNER of this phone, I can verify that by taking a picture of the background which has my girlfriend on it and then another picture with me and her and then another picture with me writing on a sign XDA Developers or whatever. I bought the phone new so am Only user of it.
OK the story. There is a very intimate home video me and the girl took on the phone. Now after that i changed the pin because didnt want the house mate (who knew the pin) stumbling across it (Phone was only used for home as I swapped hands for a Blackberry q10) so the phone went away as I got a playbook for free with the phone. ANNNNNYWAYYYY we have moved and now living in Thailand (formerly Australia) and we wanted to watch ourselves in action or unaction . Now I cant for the life of me remember the PIN ive tried everything for days and days on end.
Now I have done a bit of research, because Im in Thailand now, I have no Internet access on the S4, so downloading that app from the Play Store is out of the question. I read it was regarding a different phone that you could use odin install cm then backup data or something along those lines. I would like clarification from someone or if someone is willing to spend 10 minutes on skype running me through it i'd happily pay for their time. I dont want to risk loosing all my data, especially the vid
I suppose another question would be can i do a backup through odin without installing cm that i could transfer onto sd? All the current data is on the device (No SD installed) or is there a program you can run that would trick it into thinking its got its old password (the one im sure of)?
I'm sure I could find a thai expert on phones but wouldnt trust them with my data in hands reach.
I appreciate your help in advance, and if this is not ok for public discussion I would be more than happy to receive a PM.
Like I said I can verify my identity and proof of being the owner
If your Phone is rooted as u said, y dont u simply Use Aroma FileManager to backup your data and then install a fresh One. Its Simple
Thanks for your quick reply! really appreciated. But I dont think it applies to me, To be honest I think I flashed back to stock or a lite rom, It seems to be telling me that from the start up screens:
Recovery:
Android system recovery<3e>
options are
reboot
apply update from ADB
apply update from external storage
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache
apply update from cache.
And When I press power and up I get
ODIN MODE
Product name: GT-19505
Current Binary: Samsung Official
System Status: Official
KNOX KERNEL LOCK: 0x0
KNOX WARRANTY VOID: 0x1
CSB-CONFIG-LSB: 0x30
Write Protection: Enabled
eMMC BURST MODE: enabled
Is there another way to install Aroma File manager?
I apologize for being so naive, I have really no idea.
If it's only the video you that you want then do this:
Flash a custom recovery true Odin. Like this recovery if you have the i9505 http://teamw.in/project/twrp2/182
Select wipe > factory reset (make sure to pick the right one or it will wipe your sd)
Reflash the rom you want.
If you don't pick the wrong option in the recovery then you still have your data on your internal sd card.

Ok, so by selecting wipe > factory reset would it not restore to factory everything, including the data and video.?
I dont like the chances of "if you dont pick the wrong option"
If you could be a little clearer Lenny I would appreciate it, delicate situation

If you have TWRP recovery then you can peform a factory reset. If you go to the wipe menu you see it's stated there: (not including internal storage).
You dont need any custom rom, just flash TWRP Recovery or CWM Recovery, Flash the SuperSU, then use AROMA filemanager.. no need to factory reset
Since your Phone has KNOX 0x1, warranty void, go ahead and flash the above mentioned files..
Flash via ODIN http://techerrata.com/file/twrp2/i9500/openrecovery-twrp-2.7.0.0-i9500.tar
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2663663
you can use twrp instead of Philz recovery,

Ok, Downloaded all the needed files, phones been connected in download mode with odin running but not recognising the phone? When I downloaded the Drivers all I did was press install then restart, there is now a file in Program Files full of seperate Samsung drivers, I am not sure are these meant to be placed in the system32/drivers folder? I also downloaded Kies to update drivers as per recommendation elsewhere.
I am using 3.07 ODIN, the USB is charging the phone but ODIN hasn't recognised it. Note: Kies Is NOT running.
please tell me if im doing the correct steps
1. Start up Odin
2. Put phone into Download mode
3. Once in download mode connect to USB
?
go to system properties, Device manager and see if you have any unrecognized hardware, install proper odin drivers..

It's simple if you want backup ur data. You dont need a PIN for it:
1. Flash a STOCK ROM through ODIN.
2. Power ON ur device till the Bypass screenlock (wait 15 seconds).
3. Conect ur phone to the PC through the USB conector.
4. You will receive one popup window avising u what u wanna do. Select OPEN FOLDERS.
5. If you don't receive the popup is other thing. Having your device conected on Bypass Screenlock -> Press Windows Key + R in ur pc -> devmgmt.msc and press ENTER. Attach a screenshot and we take a look the yellow admirations you have there.
Today I tried to see the phone app is at which directory ex: "system/app/phone.apk"
So I use bkdisabler to check, I search for the word "phone" and disabled all, the phone app icon is still there. It was ok until I click on the dialpad and the phone reboot :crying:
now it's in bootloop and the phone heated up
I have not rooting my phone because it is still under warranty. But I guess there is no other option if I want to keep my data with me I have to use the help of twrp
I have experience of using twrp navigate to directory etc.
Please help me what should I delete or do to unfreeze the things bkdisabler has done?
my frp lock is still on help me!!!

I'll help u but before we start here is a disclaimer:
DOING THIS WILL CLEAN UP UR PHONE SO DONT BLAME ME WHEN UR DATA IS GONE!
BUT, u can enable google backuping so it will backup MOST of ur stuff, now lets start
download the stock rom from here: http://en.miui.com/download-333.html
and download this tool: http://en.miui.com/forum.php?mod=at...yYzJhMXwxNTM1NDI2MDE3fDIyNTA2MTkxMTB8ODA3MjUy
decompress the zip even if u dont actually see that anything is inside when u open it from winrar
then reboot ur phone to bootloader mode and start the tool
click on refresh in the tool and u should see ur phone string
then click on browse and take it to this folder
tissot_images_V9.6.4.0.ODHMIFE_20180712.0000.00_8.0_735823083f\tissot_images_V9.6.4.0.ODHMIFE_8.0
matters what u chose it might be just: tissot_images_V9.6.4.0.ODHMIFE_8.0
then in the bottom right make sure its clean all and lock
and then press on flash and wait, i heard someone say they bricked their phone when they flashed using miflash because a power outage happend and the proccess stopped so make sure u dont accidentally unplug ur phone from the pc
when finished the phone will auto restart itself and u should be having stock rom, I hope I helped u
if u have any questions I'll be glad to answer them if I can
