OnePlus 6 vs OnePlus 7 - Speed Test. ( OP7 is just too fast)
Finally I am giving it a try for OP phone, just curious about how many years OP phone can still perform this comfortably fast for daily usage? maybe ex owner of OP3 or 3T can share some experience?
My opinion is Yes, OP7 is fast device...Of course, OOS Rom also plays an important role in the overall performance of the device
I'm using OOS10.0.1 GM57AA & yesterday I got the latest update and everything is going better
(I have 8gb ram+256gb rom version)
Like any phone running android OS, you build up clutter in the storage, cache etc... over months of use, which slowly bogs everything down somewhat. This combined with upgrading to newer versions of Android over the course of time, eventually it's best to completely wipe the device and start fresh to get that snap back.

Used op3 for 3 years before getting the op7
I never used a more reliable phone as op3. At the end of 2.5 years the only problem that op3 gave was low sound, & low call quality.

The 835 combined with the near stock ROM means a silky smooth experience.
It's faster than my tears, and is able to respond before i even have a chance to form a tear in my eye.
Everything is lightning quick even with multiple apps open in the background. Hard to slow this phone down really. Easily the fastest phone I've used.
As expected on SD835, quick and smooth, and so as the bare essentials on this phone. Loved it:good:
Anything I say will be repeating everyone else:
It's really fast.
Just as fast as the Pixel 2 phones for half the price on T-Mobile.
So far, I have been using this phone for a little more than a month. I have to say this is the best phone since I previously own Nexus 5. I am really impressed with the performance, stability, and speed of it. It's really hard to slow down this phone. It's really smooth and fast. This phone has been running for five weeks without a reboot and counting. I don't see any issues with the performance and stability of this phone. The performance is the same since day one. This phone is near stock android combine with top-end CPU make the best experience overall. It blew my mind away.
I LOVE this phone. I came from a note 4. Played around with a note 8.
Real snappy. I only have three complaints
1) stock Android emojis.
2) no headphone jack.
3) I didn't buy it sooner to get the free projector ?
Bought it for my kid. Seriously impressed. The mods are fun, but expensive gimmicks. Ít runs as fast or faster than my Note8. I do wish it was water resistant, but aside from that, it is a good value.

To me my M9 was a touch slower than my SD835 S8+. My M10 LCD 6gb is faster than my S8+. Main thing is the K970 is solid and stable. No jerks or hangs so far. Desktop mode is smooth also. A lot better than DEX. Off-screen navigation button is great.
Its fast, but mate 9 pro feels smoother.
Is it me or i feel like the mate 8 with custom Rom was a bit faster and less lag than the mate 10 4gb ram ??

Ofc customrom is better when its a slim one. thats one thing you cant compare dude!
Mate10pro is faster then my mate 8.
So Oreo is not the best version for the mate
Personalmente es mi primer 4GB RAM y 64GB ROM, realmente lo encuentro muy rápido en todos los aspectos.
Faaassssttt.... High 212k Antutu
Always go to developer option and adjust all animation to 0.5x, then comment back here.
performance from 6 gb ram is not up to my expectation
Lag in games, I already formatted, updated or rebrand: nothing to do. I'm starting to regret this purchase.

Yeah I am having some regrets also, games are not very smooth, also some jerks are visible and very annoying for a high end phone.I am hoping for a future update maybe 8.1 will be much more faster and smooth.
I am coming from iPhone 6s and this is new to me but everybody says that I have to give it some time.Maybe the google pixel is a better choice?
Ok. Here is what i noticed so far. Phone was factory and cache reseted with some trash apps removed. Only added nova launcher, Facebook lite messenger, viber and discord+ few games witch doesnt work in background. Iv been using phone few days. Its BLA-L29 8.0.0.129(C432). Nova launcher working great, system menu and overall ui working great, apps open fast with no choppy animations, stock gallery micro stuttering when scrolling fulscren photos, market lags alot, few games lag, few works great. Rest of system is working great and battery life is great. If you ask me il rather get 1hr off battery life witch is around 8h sot for little more smooth operation in said apps. Tested all with both resolutions and its the same so it must be some wierd throttling or something.
Same here, some parts of UI lagging....maybe updates work things trough

I had my mate 10 pro for a month now, lag is very less to nothing, its super snapy, this phone is blazing fast!
i notice frame drops while gaming (only play sonic forces though) other than that it is very fast, no real lag. i realise that sometimes animations seem to lag but it is just the animation, the phone itself and the action i am performing is very fast. (unlike samsung where i experienced not only animations lagging but also the apps/actions i was performing were delayed or i needed to hit an icon twice)
i think huawei needs to come up with a brand new UI.
they have a ton of good features but everything reminds me of older times. also they used to push themself into the markets by copying rivals especially Apple. I think this is what a lot of chinese companies are doing and it is fine but in recent years huawei has become a major player themselves, now they have to prove that they can do it themselves, can do it better
I heard it takes week or two for AI to arrange things and it's true. Phone is lot smoother now tho there are areas where it still lags....like default email client when opening new email. But nothing major any more.
I play only some 2D game(Vikings war of clans) and coming from SD821 phone I'm delighted with performance in it(lots of calculations).
most annoying thing is hill climb 2 stutter. but i have a feeling that crap drops frames on all phones
No faults whatsoever so far
Lineage Revolution works fine on highest details for 20min

Only being able to compare it to the 835s of the Pixel 2 and the S8, this phone has been feeling fast for me. I make all the animations .5x so that helps too. Occasional app crashes but hoping that will get worked out with future updates.

Honesty it doesn't feel much, if any slower than a phone with an SD855. I'm sure it could be noticeable in some games, loading times, etc... But everyday usage it feels the same.
I stated before that the merging time when taking pictures would likely be reduced a bit if using an 855, but with them having to customize the 845 for it, I'd prefer a slower merge on a released phone versus a phone that never comes out because they're always trying to get the newest hardware configured for it.
Compared to my xz3 it seems smoother, opening apps faster
Ran 3dmark Sling Shot Extreme for Open GL 3 and Vulcan. Score 4582/4258. Comparison chart on site vs phone app is different. Also i couldn't upload my score, but that could have been because i turned off google app. Apparently i was the first to test this phone with 3dmark
*Edit: I guess you want to know how it works day to day... Overall better than my windows phone, but in general seems appropriately speedy in accomplishing tasks with little or no delay, based on my expectations of how this phone should respond.

It's pretty fast in everyday task handling but then again everything with a SD845 and up is gonna be fast for everyday tasks
With 90Hz and UFS 3.0, lagness is no more. So far happy with it!
This is hands down the fastest phone I ever had. Then again my last phone was a Galaxy S8

This is probably the fastest phone ever
Compared with Xiaomi mix 2s, One plus 7t has a huge advantage.
Very fast. Blazing fast.
It's just too fast. after a week i tried xiaomi MI9t pro and it looks so slow and choppy. I'm in love with this phone and 90hz
It's been super fast, until yesterday. It's been at least a week since reboot. I had been driving with Waze, Pandora, and even Youtube open. Stopped to get gas, and use Fuelly. Got super laggy. Restarted while pumping gas. Back to being super fast instantly! Probably will restart once a week just to keep it fresh!

Fastest phone I've owned, especially with unneeded apps uninstalled or disabled. It's so fast I'm afraid I might hurt myself.
It's extremely fast in day to day use. Fastest phone I've ever used. Lg g6 was my last flagship and only point if reference.

Coming from S20 Ultra to this, so I can get some nice pictures of baby. I love the phone, but it is quite sluggish. That’s just my opinion coming from the SD865, so its all relative
I'm impressed with the storage performance. Apps loading for first time pretty quick for a midrange phone.
Also, I get over 120Mbps on 4G at Tmobile sites that have been upgraded to 5G. The backhaul was likely upgraded, increasing chances of better 4G performance too. Though don't get anywhere near that on my S8. Why pay more for a 5G phone eating battery when 4G speeds can be this good on 5G sites.

4a scored about 275K on Antutu, which puts in in category of S9. Not slow but not high end. Also about same as original iPhone X in real world performance (outside CPU intensive apps).
coming from an iPhone XS Max, and the speed is fine. its not sluggish to me and response is immediate. i don't game though, just normal browsing and utility / info based apps.
i'm not convinced the USB version is 3.2 - i'm not seeing file transfer speeds anywhere close to that (maxing out at 350mb/s in my case)
Speeds are good coming from an Xperia XZ1. It seems quite optimized. Have yet to really have anything to complain about in that area.
Could anyone compare pixel 4a performance to some midrange? Of course it is not a gaming phone...

My previous two phones were the Nexus 6P and Pixel XL - The Pixel 4a is a substantial step up in every regard, as far as I'm concerned. I don't get too wrapped up in specs & am far more interested in day to day use.....
My 3Xl is way faster than my 4A. On Android 11. Just sayin

It's a matter of degrees. It's definitely noticably faster. If it's important to people and they want to upgrade to the 4A. It's not as fast as the 3XL

It could also be faster but the Pixel 3 and the 3 XL sucks a lot in multitasking, thanks to the poor 4 gb if ram. And I had the Pixel 3. Anyone, I have pre-ordered the 4a, let's hope they'll ship faster!

I have two devices an One Plus 7 Pro and the Pixel 4a can I tell a difference, sure but it is really not a show stopper. I can an do run the same Apps both devices as far I can tell they all open and and the user experience is the same. Swipe left to right etc... it maybe the OnePlus is a bit more responsive but if I did not own a 2019 flagship device I would never know. The speed, the response, user experience is great. Using the Pixel 4a has me thinking, do I really need the latest and great hardware so far the answer is no.

After using the 4a for a couple of days I came to the same conclusion vs the 7pro. Plus, I prefer the 4a's size, weight and rear fingerprint sensor.

The Pixel 4a is the lightest phone I owned it years, the size I am almost 60 eyes are not what they used to be but reading glasses on the small device is ok.
With the finger print sensor in the back, I hold the device and it is just natural to unlock the phone.
I know if I ran Speed Test the OnePlus 7pro would be faster, but I do not care at the end of the day when I am using the phone does it meet my requirements.

Given that I'm at the same level of "maturity", perhaps the 4a is the perfect "geezer" phone? Progressive lenses do the job for me.
comming from pixel 2 and 4a is a bit faster
There are a few stutters here and there for me but nothing too crazy. I keep looking at the phone and being amazed at how damn good it is for the price. I also really prefer the plastic over glass. Though I would actually rather have aluminum. The chipset is perfectly capable to deliver useable performance. It just goes to show that most people really don't need the fastest phone in the world.
Gaming performance of Pixel 4A
How’s the gaming performance of pixel 4a.Can it run games like pubg ,fortnite , COD at 60 fps. Also how’s the heating and battery performance while gaming
Hey guys, do you reckon the SD730G + 6gb RAM will be decent for a couple years? I intend to keep the phone for 2-3 years and I typically just use it for browsing, reddit and youtube. No gaming outside some Among Us every now and then. I'm currently using a OP 3T, btw. I just want a small, snappy phone, the great camera is just an added bonus for me.
