Hi,
I'm new here and was referred to this forum by another user.
Does anyone know of a program which can quickly change the network (from 3G to wifi), instead of going through all the connections menu and doing it manually. It gets annoying doing it, and someone thought someone had created a program on here, but I cannot find it. I was wondering if anyone is aware of a proggy that can do this.
Thanks guys

Dear Wizard owners,
I have a (propably) simple question. I am searching for a shortcut to the list with found network cards. To be more clear....
Start -> Settings -> Connections -> Network Cards
IF your wifi is turned on you should get a list of found/saved wifi connections. I already had made a link before to 'Running Programs' as can be found in many threads. Just a file with a code; that simple. I hope somebody can give me a similar code for this particular link...? I hope so. Thanks in advance.
Bart
This may be what you're looking for -
Network Cards: 34#\Windows\ctlpnl.exe cplmain.cpl,17?\windows\shellres.96.dll,-13888
I'm not sure if 13888 refers to the generic app icon or not, but if it does you can open up the shellres.96.dll in ResHack and find the one you're looking for and change it to that.
By the way, delete the "Network Cards:" part if you use that to create a link, if you didn't know.
Hey Xeno1,
thanks for your quick and adequate reply. EXACTLY what is was looking for. Thanks again!
Bart
No problem. I have a pretty decent list of almost all the links to settings menu apps, and most of their icons in the shellres.96.dll. Let me know if there are any others that you need.
Ok sorry, but I have looked everywhere for some info, nothing.
I have been trying to customise my htc touch 3g with a dialler and the advice is to copy the cab over to the phone, also I have seen that I have to access the windows folder, which I cannot do. I can find it on my phone but not on my pc the specific one is this, but they seem to be on a very meandering quest by page 19 and I couldn't bear anymore reading please help, i'll be your friend

Searched this forum and couldn't find a difinitive answer.
Is there a way to switch my Verizon phone so that it will work on Cellular South?
I know the MSL code and am familiar with the advanced menus I just don't know what to do.
Thanks.

If it's a cdma network would imagine it'd be easy. I use this fascinate on cricket. Trick is, will they let you?
You could probably flash a showcase rom and radio and be all setup, hehe.
See if they'll add your ESN to their database. If so, that's about all you have to do.
You will need to figure out if they will accept flashed phones. If they do, you will need to locate the prl they use, download qpst build 323 and qpst 215 (for ppp settings) and alot of patience. Also, you will have to figure out their ppp "um" and "an" password. If they allow for flashed phones should be no problem.
Edit: I see they carry the fascinate...if that's the case, you can flash their correct prl and call them from the phone. They will ask for your info and give it to them. Once you hang up, they should give you a code for an ota programming...if that doesn't work, then you'll have to do it the other way.
