When my phone was still in beta Pie, this problem never occurred. However, after I update it, I faced this slow charging issue which is really annoying. Please help me to fix this problem, thank you.

I m also facing the same problem after stable pie update. when I put the phone in charge, it charges very slowly and many times battery percentage decreases while it is charging. ?
Me too. Well i like this Pie update, but bugs still lurking around waiting to be found.. ..
Just wait another update or downgrade backnto oreo haha
Charging Speed Asus Max pro m1 057 update
Even i am also facing the same issue while charging.but i am came to conclusion that "We have to change charging cable after each upate of PIE(as of now 057 is the latest one )".after previous update(before 057 update ) i started facing the slow charging issue so i did bit of search on google and found if we change the cable then this problem can be solved.so i bought a new cable.after using it for a month every thing was working well then again update arrived (057 latest one ).after updating again i started facing the same issue as in previous update.whereas using the same charging cable i charged other phones trust me charging speed was good.so problems is not in the cable this is a bug of a phone . asus does not accept their mistake.
But if you will charge your phone using Powerbank then phone charges normally at the same speed as in OREO.
after every update use different data cable to overcome this issue(I dont understand what is the logic behind this).

I am using now samsung galaxy s2 which i bought used and it is from O2 mobile Uk
So first of all when i install 2.3.5 official in my phone its work good android system goes to near 14% and android OS goes to Like 5-9 percent
But when i try to pull something like 2.3.6 with odin it cause me problem of high battery usage again
So i do some research and what i did is flash 4.04 in ny phone
But thats not a full story i root it and install root exploler
And i unistall all ****ty apps like samsung hub, even gmail email
Yeah i am saying it correctly i didnt freeze them i just delete or uninstall them
And yeah problem solved
One more thing to new problem facers
Dude dont worry about that problem i check many peoples they all are facing that thing
Our Galaxy S2 is still best if you compare them will all other present smartphones
My advice is to just check if you are getting same battery timing in real which you were getting before all that
If your answer is yes then dont bother yourself with seeing battery status again and again and enjoy your phone
I hope this process will be usefull to you
I post all ****ty apps list later so you can delete them
hey guys,
i have the wiredest problem.
i've phurched a new galaxy s5 and when i connect it to the charger, a charging icon appears but the battery % dosent go up, only down.
i've downloaded many battery analysing app and theey all seem to think that everything is fine, that the current flows and all, but the % dosent go up!
i switched a battery and a cable and its definitly a phone problem (i can charge the battery in another phone)
some suggested that i sould replace the charging port but it looks completly new and fine, and also cost quite a lot of money to replace.
is there any other soultion?
thanks!!
Sorry I encountered the same problem on my old s3. I finnaly solved the probleme by changing the micro hdmi port. Sorry I know you won't here this but i search everything. I replace myself it's not so hard. I do it because my s3 was in ending life.
It does sound like the charger port.....
The replacement parts aren't that expensive (under £10 off eBay).
Just make sure you get the right one....
Look at the pictures......

These parts are device variant specific......
It would probably be a good idea to match 'rev' versions too.....that was certainly the case with the S2....If the wrong rev version board was put in, it led to signal problems etc......

Hello together,
After updating the my OPT with the “official” OOS 3.0 Beta, I’m facing signal drops.
after each drop, my internet connection is broken, I cannot make calls anymore, and so on..
I need to restart my phone in order to use it again.
It happens at least once a day.
Attached a screenshot, you can see that the signal bar has an exclamation sign “!” next to it.

Hmmm... such basic functions should work in a official beta release. If it was an alpha release I would agree.
I have no idea how to fix your problem or why it occurred... Perhaps a reflash?

No signal problem for me. But I have charging issues..
Myself... Been running 3.0 for 72 hours. I just got my phone and flashed it within the hour and then flashed TWRP and rooted it. I made the official "dirty upgrade" with the 3.0 from Oneplus website.
No issues at all... On the other hand, I flashed the 3.0 before making any installs or configurations
USB cable charge without any notification in system
for example the phone is now charging and the percentage is increasing but there is no LED notification or charging mark beside the percentage or any thing ,, even when i connect it with laptop nothing show up or anything !

This one is 378MB and reportedly brings support for Wireless Internet Service Provider roaming (WISPr) and also includes a fix for RTT (Real Time Text) and the April Android security patch. I have no idea if this update will really improve much of anything for us, but I have reluctantly installed it hoping for better battery life.
Enjoy.
And introduced new bugs which prevent many widgets from updating or working properly...
Can some body post firmware or OTA here?
Many people with 6.0.1 cant update. Waiting for firmware.
Has anybody had charging issues since taking the update? Seems like fast charge won't work for me unless the screen is off. If I'm watching YouTube or streaming anything it won't charge the phone at all. Charging at 282 mA right now with screen on, and 2,561 mA when screen is off. And only when it's off.
Besides the kernel being slightly more efficient on battery, so far I'm not seeing any real benefit of this OTA either. In fact, this morning as I was wrapping up a BT business call, I pressed the headset's call button to end the call. Nothing happened, I then pressed end call in the phone app repeatedly and it wouldn't hang up. I had to shut off Bluetooth altogether from the quick toggles in order to hang up.
That was a discouraging experience to say the least...
