A couple of new pcitures have been leaked showing the htc pyramid aka the desire hd 2 , looks pretty nice i was pretty much sold until i saw it has 770 mb of ram , i like that the camera no longer sticks out ( less sctraches) and it looks thinner than the desire hd and i also think they dropped the unibody case kinda sad but at least the battery cover will be beasy to remove

indeed qHD screen would nice and also a BIGGER battery!
I hope the qHD screen will get higher refresh rate than 60hz... otherwise frame limiter will be also set to 60fps, and those shiny new dualcore will be really limited...
Uuh how I miss a simple way of opening the back of my DHD, the picture from this one here really give me new hope.

The hardware specs are WOW. But the design to me looks a bit feminine like that of samsung. What i mean is....the design is too much of curves on the phone. The top and bottom are also curved and not flat. I like the look of DHD which is VERY masculine hehe

I feel opposite, I much prefer DHD way of keeping minimum area of weak parts of the body making the overall feeling sturdy and cracklingless
Well, DHD by default is not that with it's weak mini covers, but they can be worked out.

How can we discuss our battery life if the phone isn't out yet?

3220mAh, nice.
Loved the Nexus 5. Fast, stable, stock experience.
I wanted the Nexus 6 to alleviate the 3 main issues (to me) of the Nexus 5. Bigger screen, smaller bezels and bigger battery. They accomplished 2 of the 3. Battery will suck on this, as it did the Nexus 5. What's the point of a giant screen powerhouse if it dies by 3 PM?

3220 mAh with Android L and an AMOLED screen should result in pretty solid battery performance.

I love my Galaxy Mega but would love more horsepower spec wise. Do you think there is any chance Samsung will release a larger Note 4?
Once you go up in screen size you can't come back down, that is my dilemma.
Thanks

No .. it will not happen for the simple reason samsung will loose allot of customers when going bigger on the note line.
While 5.7"is huge, at the same time its bearable for most ppl that want a big screen with kick ass hardware specs. 6 inch will be to big for most ppl.

Hmm... have you seen the nexus 6? I would pick one up in a heart beat if it had:
1. IR Blaster
2. Micro SD slot
3. Removable Battery
I think there is a market for a high end 6" device.
And Samsung is known to make variants of popular phones, Note Neo, Note Edge. etc., Why not add another variant of a 6" Note 4?
No chance at all for current version!
Yes Mega series is there ...if 6 screen is main ...but s pen and other premium things?????

Just watch the upcoming sales on nexus 6.. Trust me it will be disappointing compared to the nexus 5.
Yes.. there will be a market but it will be much smaller.

probably Note 5 will have 5.9..but we will have to wait for a year for that
meanwhile check out Galaxy Mega2 ..but it lacks the features that make the Note stand out
They just released the kernel for Nubia Z17 meaning Devs can now create roms such as (RR, LineageOS, etc). Are you willing to return the OnePlus 5 for the Nubia Z17?
They have different models similar to the Oneplus 5.
Please check the specs before replying.
Nubia Z17: 6GBRAM+64GB ROM OR 8GB RAM+128GB ROM

Evaluate Nubia z17 can be a good advice with problems of OP5. Unfortunately for me find the perfect smartphone it's very hard, for example Z17 has rear fingerprint reader that i dislike
Inviato dal mio SM-N9005 utilizzando Tapatalk
Nubia Z17 has IPS screen, which is worse than AMOLED in my opinion.
Also, Bluetooth version is lower, smaller battery, not as fast Wi-Fi (as i read)
So even if i have the jelly effect, at most i'll just replace it with another OP5 :good:

And'll eat battery better. AMOLED turns off every black pixel, so it's better for the battery.
I am not happy with the current case offerings and want something much more heavy duty. What I have done before with other phones I have had is search for a phone that is almost identical as far as size and layout and just get a case for that phone.
Does anyone know if the layout and size of the Redmi Note 7 is almost identical to any other phones?

Sorry but why don't you just order a case specifically designed for RN7? I can find lots of these cases in my country's online stores. Most if not all of them are made in China though.
It's not recommended to use other phones' cases for your RN7 as they may seem fit the phone but how about buttons and holes? :silly:

That was the question; as long as the buttons and stuff match up. All of the cases I found for the RN7 are either a really lightweight metal or just a thin plastic. I am looking for something that's a heavy metal with an actual thick glass as a cover. Something like this;

There are a lot of these from china cheap, but not for the RN7 yet. I have this for my Note 4. It does add 3x the weight and increase the size, but its very well protected.
Well, that case is kinda hardcore and expensive. I'm using cheap ones (3-4 USD) for RN7 and RN4X like these.

https://shopee.vn/Xiaomi-Redmi-Note...-Protective-Case-Cover-i.166591296.2595847290
They're cheap but sturdy enough and have saved my phones on many occasions when I tripped while jogging and when phones fell from pockets.
Sorry I can't help with your question. May someone else help you. :fingers-crossed:
