[Q] Samsung Internet Suddenly Takes Up 900+ MB of RAM. - Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) Questions & Answers

So, there I was, just using my phone as normal. Browsing the internet, looking at stuff online. Then my phone just started lagging horribly. Just randomly happened at the next launch of Samsung Internet. For some unknown reason, it now takes 900+MB of RAM for both Samsung Internet and Samsung Internet Beta.
I've restarted my phone, I've cleared data and cache, I've uninstalled updates, and I've tried using Beta, which has the same issue.
I've tried other browsers, and they're doing perfectly fine. However, I'd like to stick with Samsung Internet because it has all my bookmarks saved, and I've got a LOT. Does anyone have a similar issue, or possibly a solution? I would post a picture of proof but for some reason the mobile version of XDA will not let me.

[Q] Internet Issue on my Bell Atrix (non-speed related)

This is a very weird problem
I have a Bell Atrix and not rooted and never rooted
I am using Amazon Appstore mainly (free app everyday is awesome)
however after some updates on the Android Market
The Amazon Appstore can never connect to internet
and Twitter for Android, Facebook for Android won't be able to connect to internet either.
Browser, Tuneup Radio, and some other apps are fine
even I uninstall all the app in the Android Market, still no help......
3G or WiFi gives the same issue
Only way to fix it is to restore the phone (I did several times which is ridiculous )
Is there anyone knows how to fix it or avoid this kinda problem?

[Q] Mobile data connection problem

Hi
I was wondering if i can find help here as all other sources failed
I will try to describe problem as detailed as possible but I'm newb when it comes to android so please be understanding
I'm Samsung Galaxy S4 user, just stock model I9505 running Android 4.4.2.
Using WiFi phone is completely fine but when it comes to mobile data there comes the problem..
I can use internet, browse small websites or use hangouts/fb messanger but i it seems outgoing connection is slow or none.
It happens at random and can last for 1 or more hours.
When i take seedtest, download is fine at 4Mbps but when it gets to upload app stops until <force close>.
Something is wrong with outgoping bandwith.. Ive tried to set up APN manually, restart, clear cache etc nothing works.
Ive been on the phone with operator and they said its all fine on their end.
I'm on unlimited Tmobile 3g tariff.
Anyone faced similar problem or knows how to solve it?
i appreciate any help

Last two AT&T updates broke some apps/web pages

On the last two firmware updates from AT&T (July and August - added WIFI calling) I have had weird issues with WIFI and ESPN website and apps. Once I log into my ESPN account either in the Samsung stock browser or in the ESPN Fantasy Sports app, they will no longer load when on WIFI. Both work fine on 4G but on WIFI they just hang and the web page will not load in any browser and the app never makes it past the loading screen. There may be other apps/web pages that are affected, but these are the only ones I have had issues with.
I tried a factory reset and that did not fix the problem so I decided to roll back to the June firmware (APF2). On APF2 both the app and web page load without any problems on WIFI and 4G. I'm wondering if the WIFI calling update caused some sort of conflict with a port or something. Anybody else experience anything similar?

S5 Verizon really slow and lagging

Hi,
my friend brougt me her S5 which acts really weird. When it's on mobile data, it is just impossible to use the phone. Acessing anything (apps, contacts, messages) takes forever, some apps like Messenger or Google play won't open at all.
But when I switch off the mobile data and run just on wifi, the phone comes back to life and works perfectly. All apps work etc.
I wiped and reset the phone week ago, it was working good for 6 days, but now it's back to not working good again.
Has anyone experienced similar issue. The processor load is 3x higher on 4g than on Wifi, dont know if that is normal. The original Android version is 6 marshmallow. She use SimpleMobile sim card, but it worked slow with my Tmobile card too. I set the APN correctly so it was not issue with that.
Can anyone advise?
Thank you :]

S10+ Internet Connectivity Issue After Updating to One UI 2.0

So my s10+ (G975-F) was working just fine. After updating it to latest update, it has been acting really weird. The internet would stop working all of a sudden, like messages on messenger would not send, snapchat would not load, same with fac3bpok and chrome.
Anyone else facing thiis issue? Any help would be appreciated.
your mobile signal really poor.... one bar only...

I have similar issue: No mobile data connection since updating to Android 10 on 12/31/2019. WiFi is working fine. Tried wiping the cache partition as suggested above. Tried restarting, resetting network. Tried calling carrier (Redpocket/Verizon) who did provisioning and taking out SIM card and reinserting/restarting. When switching SIM card to another phone (Galaxy S8+ using Android 9), no issue (Internet worked just fine). But another SIM card on my cell phone (Note 10+) didn't work either. So clearly the issue is with my phone (after the software update), not carrier. Took the phone to local Samsung store on 1/2/2020. Was told I was the first one reporting this since the Android rollout. They suggested factory reset which I am very hesitate to do. Then they suggested waiting for a patch to be released, if there will be one ever.
I am using Samsung Note 10+. I am in California.
Any advice? Thanks
