I have a boot loop issue similar to this post, and would like to try to flash TWRP on to my device with Odin. The TWRP site has four variations of the J7. I'm pretty sure that based on this specs data I have an Exynos processor, which narrows it down to two TWRP options:
1. Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016 Exynos) (j7xelte) TWRP page
This one has a link to XDA that indicates it is only for various SM-J710xx models.
2. Samsung Galaxy J7 Exynos SM-J700 (j7elte) TWRP page
The changelog on that one references exynos7580 which doesn't match the processor number specified on that specs link I found for my phone.
My current recovery screen shows:
HTML:
Android Recovery
samsung/j7popelteue/j7popelteue
7.0/NRD90M/J727UUEU3ARB1
Does anyone know what the correct TWRP build would be for this model of phone?

We don't have a dedicated rom unfortunately. Also try TWRP 2.7/2.8 (I think)
We do, just found roms and found twrp 3.0.2.0. for our phone and around 3 roms. I should have looked more, if you want to know where I got this than ask me for the links, or just look at the first 2 tabs of "Samsung Galaxy Core Prime ROMs, Kernels, Recoveries, & Other Development".
Is it safe to flash TWRP 3.1.1-1 for the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 LTE (SM-T355) on my Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 WiFi (SM-T350). Has anyone tried this before? If so, I would like to know the results.
I also have this table, the 2017 Verizon, I've been looking if this will work on build t350xxu1cqj5 or if I need to flash the original j1 file, any help will be greatly appreciated.
LTE and Wifi are different tablets, Odin will fail immediately. Even LTE version, each provider has its own firmware, you cannot flash one from another provider's firmware.
I just been given a Galaxy Tab 4 SM-T536, think it may be Korean model. My question is what roms are compatible?
when i boot to recovery it shows samsung/matisse10wifikx/matisse10wifikx6.0.1/MMB29K/T536KXu1AQF1
how do you root?
It also came with a knox profile but it loads korean software. I want to disable or remove Knox.
This is my first samsung device, I have installed roms on my other devices but a noob with samsung and dont want to brick it.
any links you recommend for noob ?
Hello, I am a person with Galaxy Tab 4 SM-T536 living in Korea.
The Galaxy Tab 4 SM-T536 is a Korean model. The tablet has no custom ROM developed. Security updates from Samsung
Even though it's 2022, it continues to do so, but the Android version doesn't update it. So, when I tried to install a custom ROM, I found that the model does not have a custom ROM that can be installed, and even if there is, there is no TWRP Recovery required to install it.
So it must be considered impossible.
That doesn't mean you shouldn't use custom ROMs from SM-T536 and similar SM-T530.
SM-T530 and SM-T536 may be bricks due to different hardware
I tried flashing twrp through Odin but it failed. I even check my device info with cpu z to make sure it's exy or snap ,my Samsung is running on snapdragon yet I can't root it help . When I visit samsung past it tell me my phone is rooted so I'm confuse.
You can't
First There is no compatible TWRP with the Snapdragon Model
Second the bootloader is locked so you can't flash any different recovery than your original one
Third It's a dumb idea
And titanium back but I don't know what to do with most of it is there a system that I can use that will give me all the cool stuff and ugrade my phone to the most current firmware possiblecould someone please guide me teach Me i want some cool SHI!!!!!!..THANKS
To upgrade a phone's Android it's required that
Phone's bootloader can get unlocked
A Custom Recovery suitable to the phone is available
A Custom Android ROM suitable to the phone is available
Chainfire is no longer used its well out of date .
N900T is not this forum .
T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 3
Following on from the success of the Galaxy Note 2, Samsung have managed to cram in a large amount of technology into the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Powered by a Quad-core 2.3GHz Qualcomm processor and 3GB RAM, the Note 3 is by no means a slouch. The display is 5.7" at 1920x1080 and 386ppi. The Note...
