I am really interested in the Korean version of this phone (with the removable battery and sd card slot), but there seems to be confusion over which models support which frequency bands... so my question is..
Do any of them support 3G on the 850/1900 band???
Thanks
Yes I will also like to know as well. Because I would to get this vein so I don't have to stock with a contact.

Look what F240S can has in attachment. So I think it supports 1900 band. As well as F240K. And F320S/F320K will work with 1900 to
Best way for your is to ask people which have korean G Pro at hand to make you screenshots of their bands by menu 5457#*240#

Thanks, this is helpful.
However I am torn between which band would be more useful to me, 850 or 1900 (I live in a rural area). I can live with 3G but not 2G,
UPDATE: A G2 with model number F320S was listed on eBay saying it supports HSDPA 850/900/1900/2100 in the description. I messaged the seller to make sure it was not a mistake, and he assured me that the device does support these 3G frequencies and that it would get 3G signal on carriers Canada.
Just got this phone. I am in US and need to know where you went to get those setting. Currently only getting 3G
Thanks

What carrier are you with? You should only get 3G, since none of the LTE variants that work in the US are released yet.
Yes thank you, I am getting 3G on AT&T. Battery is very cooperative on 3G. Every time I dial a voice call the phone thinks I am in Korea ...can not find any setting in phone for region, any chance you might know how to change regions? The phone is very ergonomic, probably the moist ergonomic I have used.

MoreLocale 2 in the app store seems to do the trick but I don't have an lg g2 to test it. I guess you need to root it first and grant superuser permissions because of the way jellybean handles it.I came up with this thru a couple Google searches so its untested.
I'm tempted. I'm on straight talk in the USA. If it worked, tell me as a thanks cause I kinda want to get it. I wonder if it supports tmobiles hspa+42 network. I use a T-Mobile straight talk sim card...., it runs off of T-Mobile's network but I pay straight talk but no LTE.
I will give it a try. First I need root, do you know where I can get root for the LG G2?

UMTS B1B2B5 850/1900/2100
LTE B1B3B7B8 900/1800/2100/2600
No info on the 320L
Thanks. That clears a lot up. It is good to see 2 models with a large range of bands.
It really is amazing how many websites had bad info.

I doubt it, where do you get this bands? native Korean models never had LTE 2600 supported, so that must be fakes

I can confirm the LTE 2600 supported. I'm using the SK version in Hong Kong and can use both LTE 1800 and LTE 2600 with this phone.

Dial 5457#*320# and look for Band selection menu. Don't tinker with it, just make please screenshots 4 us pressing and holding "power+vol.down"
Then LTE channels screenshots will be appreciated too. The more the better

Hi guys.
Sorry if it sounds like a noobish question, but I had to ask it before I pre-order the S800 variant of the Note 3. My main reason for doing so being the developer support, looking at how the EXYNOS devices are a bit of a mess in this aspect. I mostly use WifFi.
I just wanted to ask that will I be able to use the S800 variant without any issues in a country (Oman) that's still not very big in terms of LTE. I mean, in terms of getting normal mobile services. Like mentioned above, not really bothered about LTE per se, just that I'd like to have the S800 version for the developer and community support.
Thanks!

well, looking at the different frequency bands used in your country from wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_mobile_network_operators_of_the_Middle_East_and_Africa#Oman
I found out that Oman uses the 2100MHZ band for UMTS, and looking at the used frequencies in LTE from this wikipedia article:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_LTE_networks#Middle_East
I found out that your country uses either the 1800Mhz or the 2300Mhz bands depending on the network.
Given what you need, I would go with the international 4G version N9005 if you wanted LTE support or the international 3G version N9000.
From negrielectronics.com, the N9005 supports the following bands:
2G Network GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
3G Network HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100
4G Network LTE 800 / 900 / 1800 / 2100 / 2600
Click to collapse
As you can clearly see, the 2100Mhz band needed for 3G is supported by the international version, however, only the 1800Mhz is supported for LTE, so you might have LTE or not depending on what network you are on.
As for the N9000:
2G Network GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
3G Network HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100
Click to collapse
Also, you can clearly see that the needed band for 3G, the 2100Mhz band, is supported, so you will have 3G in your country.
BOTH of these mentioned variants are SD800 variants, and they will both work for 3G in your country, you can check them out at:
negrielectronics.com
Hope this helps

So basically I should not have an issue using this device.

Yes, I do not foresee any problems with the device you are planning to purchase, it supports the 2100 Mhz band needed for your country. However, just to be in the safe side, I would call your mobile carrier and verify that they indeed are using the 2100Mhz band for 3G, I can guarantee my findings, I cannot vouch for the information I found on wikipedia.

Actually it most probably won't work given that all EU versions will only work on European sim cards on the GN3 for some reason. I would recommend getting it from Omasco just to be sure.

Hi
I'm after the Exynos version but am based in the UK.
Firstly, where could I get it from and secondly would it work due to the region lock issues?
Thanks.

I've found the N900 variant from Negri Electronics.
It runs on 3G/4G bands - 1900, 2100, 850, 950
In the UK I have a Virgin Mobile SIM and an O2 SIM.
O2 has 900, 1800 for 2G, 900, 2100 for 3G and 850 for 4G so I guess I would be able to use this for 3G still?
Virgin has 1800 for 2G, 2100 for 3G and 800 and 1800 for 4G so again, OK for 3G?
I'd definitely like some clarification before pulling the trigger.

The 3G band for Europe and Asia is the same (and so are the 2G bands btw). The phone doesnt have an LTE radio, so obviously that wont work. I had no issues on EE.
If i may ask.. why on earth are you getting the n9000, and not the n9005? I am in the uk also. I am with giffgaff, soon they will have 4g.
Edit: i haven't actually used a n9000, but i would see no reason to basically downgrade from my n9005, very easy to build cm11 for. Everything just seems perfect. Had it since christmas

I hope the following information is applicable for all countries....
India's mobile frequencies & bands are
2G : GSM 900 MHz, GSM 1800 MHz
3G : WCDMA/HSPA/UMTS 2100 MHz ---- which are equivalent to BAND 1
4G : TD-LTE 2300 MHz ---- which are equivalent to BAND 40
As you all know only Airtel is providing 4G in india in TD-LTE 2300 MHz.
Two types of LTE -- FDD LTE , TDD LTE (NEW China Standard mainly)
TD-LTE -- Time-division Long-Term Evolution
LTE TDD -- LTE Time-Division Duplex
TDD LTE -- Time-Division Duplex LTE
All above 3 are same I guess...
And the main stream LTE is called FDD-LTE - Frequency-Division Duplex LTE
-------------------------------------------------------------------
OPO International Bands are ----
-------------------------------------------------------------------
2G: GSM: 850, 900, 1800, 1900MHz
3G: WCDMA: Bands: 1/2/4/5/8
-- Which are equivalent to --- 2100 /1900 / 1700 / 850 / 900 MHz ( Frequencies)
4G: LTE: Bands: 1/3/4/7/17/38/40
-- Which are equivalent to --- FDD 2100/ FDD 1800/ FDD 1700/ FDD 2600 / FDD 700 b c / TDD 2600 / TDD 2300
OPO Chinese Bands are ----
-------------------------------------------------------------------
2G: GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz
3G: WCDMA: 2100 / 1900 / 850 / 900 MHz
TD-SCDMA:1880-1920/2010-2025MHz
-- Which are equivalent to --- 1/2/5/8/39/34
4G: FDD-LTE :2100/1800/2600 MHz
TD-LTE:1880-1920/2300-2400/2570-2620MHz
-- Which are equivalent to --- 1/3/7/39/40/38
-------------------------------------------------------------------
So for India Both versions should work with all available telecom providers.
Let me know your thoughts guys...
:good:
No 4G on OPO in India
I thought of buying one, but seeing that it uses FDD LTE instead of TD, 4G will not work on this device in India.
WIND Mobile in Canada uses AWS Bands 1700/2100 in Canada. This phone is compatible with 4G 2100 as it shows, but not 1700. Do you think I will have 4G connectivity? Or 3G?
I bought one one from Lenteen and the 4G works perfectly in France with SFR
Does anyone know if flashing CM11S onto China OnePlus Ones will unlock the international bands? The CM11S factory image has a radio image. CM11 builds also include a radio.
Asking because I'm not receiving LTE signal on my China OPO that I've flashed to CM. Then again I have yet to try my SIM on another LTE enabled device...

Well, yes and no. I brought back 3 Chinese OPO from Beijing, and flashed the first via fastboot while transiting in Tokyo - that one would NOT work in any of the Japanese carriers (using two different SIM - Fido from Canada and TuneTalk from Malaysia) while Samsung Galaxy S3 worked fine. The second one I flashed once back in Canada via the standard recovery method as described by GizChina, and that one does not work on AWS band when tested with Wind Mobile SIM while Fido & Speakout SIMs worked awesome
Given my Japanese experience I'm not inclined to think the fastboot flash is any better than standard recovery flash

Has anyone using the OPO on ATT and have no problems with 4G LTE?
I heard some people got it to work but then when it looses LTE connection it doesnt drop to 3G so the connection is lost or the call is dropped.
Please let me know if anyone has this situation happening.
Thanks!

Yes. It supports both Band 2, and Band 4 WCDMA (HSPA). I have connected to both multiple times on my x727.
