LTE not working.

Hey all.
I own a Lenovo A6000 plus currenty running on MIUI7 5.1.1 ROM.
I've got a problem. 4G is not working but 3G and 2G are working fine.
When i choose 4g preference ,it always connects me to 3G network.
My sim is Airtel 4G enabled an was working fine ,but now I'm bit tensed about this issue.
It would be great if anyone could help me to solve this problem.
I've tried google but i failed. So you guys are hope.
Previously , i flashed NX rom but i've not tested mobile network on it.
*EDIT* Problem solved.
LTE started working automatically.

Listen Carefully.
The MIUI you are using....has a bug .... so called LTE_x.wiz-ok try to port rom again with new kernel

After MIUI , I've tried other roms just to check that 4g is working on other ROMS and now they all have same problem.
Can you tell me which kernel to flash with this?

I have the same problem too please help me,the problem occured when I flashed the Oppos color OS 2.0 ROM and from then LTE is not working in any of the custom ROM nor I am able to boot into the download mode so that I could flash original firmware to fix the issue.

No need to flash firmware, LTE started working automatically when I was out for some work.

I flashed a number of ROMS and even the original firmware but the issue is still not fixed whenever I insert my 4G sim in slot 1 of the phone it always display emergency calls only ,out of service and unknown network type in sim 1 status in about phone but as soon as I insert a 3G sim it works perfectly.

Thats the same situation I've faced. But don't worry.
I had activated 4g netpack when i was out .When I switched my mobile data on ,it shows 3g or H+ .But after some time ,it automatically catches 4G signal and everything worked perfectly.
Be patient and try this method,hope it works with you too.

Help me bro to get out of this issue.....I m not getting 4g network for almost 6 days .after flashing color os.even after flashing different ROMs

Check whether your IMEI is fine or not.
If its fine, then proceed to search for mobile networks. Before that, switch network mode to 4G.

My imei is fine ....and I try all methods that i know to gain my jio network ...but nothing works

This also doesn't work appreciably......actually I m getting network now....but not able to use data or make any call from it...

[ Solved ] invalid imei Problem After Flashing H2OS

I myself got this problem after trying many things.
i flashed h2os 2.5 back. This gave me one sim Back.
Then i flashed it again and rebooted the phone without sim card.
and after booting when it asked me for sim card and i inserted and kabboom! both slots working fine.

Solved?

How did you solved this issue? Did you came back only in H2OS or also in OOS?

If you type *#06# in phone app, does it report IMEI for both SIM cards? For me it doesn't, but I can still use both SIM cards strangely.

I can use only 1 SIM at a time. If I put both of them back in it doesn't work work. OP can you post screenshots. If you are able to figure this out then I can help you make a guide for the whole OP2 community.

i flashed oos 2.1.1.then ran first aid to restore twrp.then i flashed firmware oos 3 zip.
then flashed oos 3.1.then flashed h2os and tarrraahh
my both sim worked perfect.

but you have to boot first time without sim.after boot on welcome screen when asked for sim then insert both sim...
it works for me and restore my original imei.

Did you use the fastboot erase or format commands to clear the modemst1/2?

yup.it's there dude.
on dialing *#06# it shows my both imei no.

Ok, good for you, you have both your IMEIs intact, so you never used the fastboot erase/format commands?

If you had only H2OS, You will see all the IMEIs and all work. But you can't go back to OOS

Thanks Man!! It worked!! You are the best!! I myself got in to this trouble after installing Hydrogen OS 2.5. Forgot to backup my contacts. So flashed back to CM 14.1. But IMEI & Wifi shown as Unknown. Searched every where in XDA . No result found & somehow saw this post. U saved my life man. Thanks.. God Bless You.

Try my way i.e by cuddling the dog that bit you
I flashed the h2os 2.5 modem to get volte working on resurrection but got the same problem of sim not detecting and no imei stuffs, so i was on oos3.1 and flashed the h20s 2.5 modem by mistake and i don't know how but it solved the problem.

flashed using twrp wifi started working but mobile network doesnt... any solution

sim airplane cant turn off(but its not really turnd on)

Hey everyoe!my phone was originaly on chinese versino but my seller sad that he sent me global version phone .
so i had to transform my phone to global version and finally i did it.
the proble is taht my phone recognise my sim card but i have no services and when i want to call someone its sasy that the airplane mode is active. but its not turned on .
so far i tried to wiped out cache and factory reset but didnt solve it.

Please do another screen of settings with system and baseband version.
Maybe you did something wrong with the modem.
I have t mobile Germany and we have a password for the apn settings. Can you check your settings for your country?

As you can see my phone recognise that there is a SIM card but my signal strength bar is zero in both SIM slots

I have been last week in hungary and T Mobile HU was working fine on my axon 7 G Version.
I would recommend two things:
Check if your SIM Card is working fine with your device, or go into a T Mobile store and set another test card in. Or find someone who has another sim card for you.
But as far as I understood you, with the chinese ROM you had a signal?
Check if you can see the available networks in your area. (Mobile providers settings)
Double check your APN settings.

My SIM card work well in my other phone so it must be within my axon 7. My axon 7 I can turn on off the airplane mode and it can see that the sim card is T-Mobile but can't call because it says that I have to turn off airplane mode.

Is it possible to change baseband version?
Or I should try to flash some other region official rom?

Well Ian not sure if it was Chinese because only the mifavor recovery was Chinese.

Just do that. There must be a problem while your last flashing process.

Can i flash roms that are not edl with miflash?
Because i wanted to ooen bootloader in edl mod but failed so i had to flased rom edl.

You probably have no signal because you flashed another model's ROM through EDL. you have the wrong NHLOS.bin file.
You have to follow a guide to unlock the bootloader ON YOUR PHONE MODEL (A2017!) then you can fix it

Cant i solve it simply flashing the right rom ?

I don't really know if flashing the corresponding ROM will fix your phone, but I think it will. You might like MiFavor 5.0 anyways
I'll send you the EDL package link for an A2017 rom. flash it and if you have signal, update through OTA. No need to unlock

Right now i tried global edl rom.
And chinese as well.

You shouldn't have tried the G rom! You messed up the modem in the process. That's why I don't know if flashing the chinese ROM again will magically fox things. But it's worth trying
The ROM is this one. I think it is MiFavor 4.2.

Wait, don't flash. What's the model on the back of the phone? And did you buy it through Aliexpress?

At first I wanted to change the rim because I couldn't record at 60fps.

m on official stock rom in my moto g4 plus i just never install any rom to my phone
but yesterday my sim working fine with any issue.....
but today its shows no service i just do many things
from youtube but nothing changes......
please help me anyone....
and i install the official rom again but same promblem ............

Have you tried to remove the sim card, clean it, checked if the contacts of the slot are OK, checked if sim card is working in another phone?

yes sim is working in another phone.......
and when i call someone its say turn off aeroplane mode but no aeroplane mode is active

And the other questions? Did you tried to wipe cache in stock recovery?
Maybe you can do a factory reset of your device when you backed up your stuff. Unfortunately there's little less you can do on locked devices...

mmmmmm.............i done factory data reset
and i done also reinstall the rom in my phone
but nothing happen.....
when i put my sims in my phone its detected step up also appers but
the sim signal is not showing when i call someone its say turn off aeroplane mode
but its already off

may be its a hardware issue.........

Device not falling back to 3G from 4G

Hi,
I have a Lenovo vibe k6 note stock rom on Android 7.0.
Calls are working perfectly in Jio 4G (volte).
Recently I switched to Vodafone 4G (no volte).
When I try to place calls, the device is not falling back to 3G. I am unable to switch the network to 3G or 2G manually also. However 2G works when I change my primary data Sim.
I tried swapping the sim slots, toggling enhanced 4G services, restoring the device software, changing sim cards, replacing my sim card, the same problem persists.
I am using this sim with Lumia 640 XL LTE now. This issue is not present with other phones.
Any help would be appreciated.

Just Flash Stock Rom.. Issue will be solved

I had the same issue even on stock rom once I unlocked my bootloader.
What can I do?

Try to lock bootloader through adb and chek your country code

Hey Swarnakanti,
I had tried that and was of no use. I tried to reset the modem setting via fastboot, lost IMEI. Finally I had to reburn the IMEI and WiFi address with QFIL and restore the baseband. I've put the method for the same on a different thread, please share the thread with others too, there are a lot of people with the same issue.
