Hey all.
I own a Lenovo A6000 plus currenty running on MIUI7 5.1.1 ROM.
I've got a problem. 4G is not working but 3G and 2G are working fine.
When i choose 4g preference ,it always connects me to 3G network.
My sim is Airtel 4G enabled an was working fine ,but now I'm bit tensed about this issue.
It would be great if anyone could help me to solve this problem.
I've tried google but i failed. So you guys are hope.
Previously , i flashed NX rom but i've not tested mobile network on it.
*EDIT* Problem solved.
LTE started working automatically.
Listen Carefully.
The MIUI you are using....has a bug .... so called LTE_x.wiz-ok try to port rom again with new kernel

After MIUI , I've tried other roms just to check that 4g is working on other ROMS and now they all have same problem.
Can you tell me which kernel to flash with this?
LTE not working on Lenovo A6000
I have the same problem too please help me,the problem occured when I flashed the Oppos color OS 2.0 ROM and from then LTE is not working in any of the custom ROM nor I am able to boot into the download mode so that I could flash original firmware to fix the issue.

No need to flash firmware, LTE started working automatically when I was out for some work.

I flashed a number of ROMS and even the original firmware but the issue is still not fixed whenever I insert my 4G sim in slot 1 of the phone it always display emergency calls only ,out of service and unknown network type in sim 1 status in about phone but as soon as I insert a 3G sim it works perfectly.

Thats the same situation I've faced. But don't worry.
I had activated 4g netpack when i was out .When I switched my mobile data on ,it shows 3g or H+ .But after some time ,it automatically catches 4G signal and everything worked perfectly.
Be patient and try this method,hope it works with you too.

Help me bro to get out of this issue.....I m not getting 4g network for almost 6 days .after flashing color os.even after flashing different ROMs

Check whether your IMEI is fine or not.
If its fine, then proceed to search for mobile networks. Before that, switch network mode to 4G.

My imei is fine ....and I try all methods that i know to gain my jio network ...but nothing works

This also doesn't work appreciably......actually I m getting network now....but not able to use data or make any call from it...

I have the same problem, Not 3g at all, only EDGE, even my APN is right and full signal in my town. All my problem begun after flashed my SGY, i lost my 3g. Nobody yet has the solution of this issue, i dont know what to do.
Upgrade !
Just flash your phone if really necessary but if u will just upgrade through Odin , I Suggest you updating firmware via Samsung Kies or OTA(Over-the-air) Upgrade in Settings>About phone>Software update(You will sign in for a Samsung account so if you do not have a Samsung account,Sign up first)
I Just flashed my phone through Odin because i downgraded my DXLA1 Firmware to my factory firmware "DXKK4" , But i didn't encounter any problems as my 3G Network is still working . For me flashing through Odin is Scary for me but if you will study what will you prepare before you flash , Then u will success flashing

review your apn settings. or there is a network problem
What's with the APN? I just set the network automatically. I received a messaged about the configuraton . I'm on the smart network. And i don't change any settings on the mobile networks

try reflashing to stock official rom, odin..
and reflash your cusrom, if no work. try this..
goto settings->Wireless And Networks->mobile networks->Network operator->choose gsm/wcdma, .
if no work too, do a factory reset .
type this on phone : *2767*3855# (reset all settings)

Did you updating to the latest firmwares of your regions ? I Flashed DXKK4 from DXLA1 last night but i tried using my 3G Network , No problems ...

Happen to me yesterday, Cannot do 3g and SMS but Incoming and Outgoing call Works
I flash to Latest Samsung Official ROM (files from dorky and use odin)
Set your CSC by typing *#272*[your IMEI]#
Choose your network
then reset you phone to factory settings
Then flash again to your favotire rom!

i have been doing that for almost so many time, i cannot even count how many times i did it, i also tried different CSC and stock roms (from doky) and still i do not have 3g. I did also tried fully flashing my phone and up to now, no luck....:crying:

Then i switched to Idea and Vodafone 4G .. For some day's they worked fine but afterwards my phone was not able to detect any 4G network . At first i thought to be network problem but when i inserted that same sim card in different mobile 4G signal showed up . I tried every operator sim card and not able to detect any 4G signal only 2G and 3G shows up . Only jio4g is working and that too very poor . I switched different roms and even flashed my Redmi 2 Prime using fastboot but nothing helped.

Because of using different ROMs. There is a problem in Redmi2/prime phones that you need to re-flash IMEI numbers of your phone. For the solution you need to visit:- en.miui.com/thread-218200-1-1.html for proper solution

After returning to Stock Rom with RUU from Bad Boyz rom i can't get 3g or 4g network to work it just say no signal!!

It resets your network settings, it's helped me many times in similar situations, it won't mess anything up.

i tried it and reset my network but it locked my sim card, i unlocked it again but still the phone only work with 2G "GSM" network,
i'll try to install a new RUU and see how it works

i still can't get any network to work other than GSM even after i re-rooted my phone and installed BadBoyz rom again "which was working on all network before"

Sir / ma'am I m using asop android 8.1 custom ROM installed in my device. Whenever my phone get switched off there is no network. When I search for network its shows error in searching network and when I select automatic mode its shows registered on network with no signal. My sim 1 slot is not working and I m using jio simcard in sim slot 2.
Every time I have to reinstall the custom rom to regain netowrk. Pls help how can I can search network if my phone get switched off.

Sir what I have to do to regain network after switching of the phone pls help
Hi,
I have a Lenovo vibe k6 note stock rom on Android 7.0.
Calls are working perfectly in Jio 4G (volte).
Recently I switched to Vodafone 4G (no volte).
When I try to place calls, the device is not falling back to 3G. I am unable to switch the network to 3G or 2G manually also. However 2G works when I change my primary data Sim.
I tried swapping the sim slots, toggling enhanced 4G services, restoring the device software, changing sim cards, replacing my sim card, the same problem persists.
I am using this sim with Lumia 640 XL LTE now. This issue is not present with other phones.
Any help would be appreciated.

Try to lock bootloader through adb and chek your country code

Hey Swarnakanti,
I had tried that and was of no use. I tried to reset the modem setting via fastboot, lost IMEI. Finally I had to reburn the IMEI and WiFi address with QFIL and restore the baseband. I've put the method for the same on a different thread, please share the thread with others too, there are a lot of people with the same issue.
