Hey, have anyone figured out if this device is root compatible and got leanback launcher working on this model?

Hello, I would like to know if you are working on any custom rom for the amazon fire hd10 2017.
I ask it because as you have already managed to root the tablet we could use flashfire as in the case of the amazon fire 7 5th gen.
PD: For those who say that first look in the forum I have already done and I have not found anything.
Thanks
Hello Nvidia Shield Android TV community
Can anyone of you extract the latest version of Amazon Prime Video apk from your shield box for me?
Prime Video apk for Android TV
Hello. You have to download the Nvidia Shield tv version in order for it to work on Android TV. I will try to set up an web link with instructions on how to do it. https://www.google.com/amp/techpp.com/2018/03/14/amazon-prime-video-apk-android-tv-working/amp/
I have this Fire HDX 8.9 3rd gen https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BYHTK5Y/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I recently tried to start Optimum app for tv viewing and it claims it no longer works on my OS version and doesn't provide any other information. I have Fire OS 4.5.2 from December 13, 2014. It was rooted previously with TWRP, but I haven't done anything since then. I think I need to get to 5, but does the 3rd gen HD 8 work or support it? Any recommendations on firmware?
edit
I see that's there's other Kindle forums, but the server keeps timing out on me trying to list them.

Looks like your device doesn't support Fire OS v5
Since you have TWRP, you can flash one of many ROMs (up to Nougat) found here:

Hi Folks,
i have a Fire HD 10 (5th) Gen and well with all the amazon bloat ware on it its pretty slow. I was wondering if its possible to flash TWRP and a custom rom afterwards. I found some threads how to root the 5th gen but nothing on TWRP or custom roms. Any chance to get rid off the amazon mass, to get it fast again as it was back in 2015?
Specs:
amazon fire HD 10 (5th)
system update
fire OS 5.3.6.4 (626533320)

No root method for Fire OS 5.3.6.4, just try to customize, remove Amazon bloat, and install Google API service using Fire toolbox:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/hd8-hd10/development/official-amazon-fire-toolbox-v1-0-t3889604
Want to block OTA update using NoRoot Firewall:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.greyshirts.firewall
Firestick 4k 6.2.7.6 rooted
I just want simple launcher with a couple of apps i mostly use and thats all. Just fast and simple. Or, is there any rom who remove all bloated apps and have custom launcher integrated?
Advice?
jusy rooted mine too earlier and installed leanback launche ftvlaunchx and launcher manager from here nows its clean
Hi all
I have an Amazon FireTV (either 1st or 2nd Gen (SD slot)) currently running Fire OS 5.2.7.6 (659654620) and Fire TV Home Version 6242054.1.
So firstly how can I tell which Generation the box I have is? SD Slot = 2nd Generation
Secondly I am considering replacing with the latest FireStick 4k given they are currently £39.99.
I have found this article (https://www.aftvnews.com/fire-tv-st...-powerful-streaming-device-in-amazons-lineup/) which helps me think keeping the FireTV 2nd Gen is the way forward.
So should I just root and replace the OS on my FireTV to optimise.
I welcome your opinions and advice...

Install "Informer" app from Amazon appstore to know the type/generation and full specifications of fire tv stick that you have .
