Hi guys
I installed the Nougat Update and then i enabled the OEM unlock and then updated the phone to Oreo
Now here is the problem
Developer options were enabled and accidently i disabled them.
I know there is no option of OEM in oreo update.
Now my question is
Will OEM unlock be enable if i enable the developer options or i have to do it all over again.
Should i need to install nougat then enable OEM and then oreo update.
Or this OEM will be Enabled?
Please help.

So i installed the latest marshmallow update on my k3 note(k50a40) and while I was checking its features I found that there is an 'allow oem unlock' option in developer settings. From what I know this option allows us to unlock the bootloader from fastboot. I wanted to root my device but I dont know how to unlock the bootloader on this phone. Can someone help me?
I encountered a problem with unlocking the bootloader. To unlock it, it says in the instructions to enable usb debugging and oem unlock in dev settings but then i could not find any "oem unlock" in the developer settings causing the bootloader unlocker not to work. Does anyone know how to fix this and unlock their bootloader?
my zenfone 3 5.5" is currently updated to the latest update (nougat and everything else that follows)
which guide are you using?
The official way to do it is through the Asus app here. I believe you have to use official way because you are on the latest firmware and the unofficial way only works on pre-nougat.
Hello
So right now I have Aresnik ROM v1.1 I think, but I wanted to install "[Elite ROM v3.0][P9 Lite] For All Nougat Builds CxxB3xx by HassanMirza01" and then I saw in fastboot that OEM Unlocking slider under developer options is disables (grayish). What that could be and how to fix it?
Thanks
Hi Guys,
I want to relock my bootloader, but when I type fastboot it says "Check 'Allow OEM Unlock' in Android Settings > Developer Options". But in the developer Options i can't select "Allow OEM Unlock" because the bootloader is already unlocked.
Now my question: How to enable "Allow OEM Unlock" with bootloader unlocked?
Thanks in advance
SOLVED

I had the same problem
I get toggle the oem unlock by flashing stock oreo, then signing into my google account and installing magisk
The day after, the option was already available.
I can't find the OEM unlocking option in developer mode. I have the fortunalteub (SM-G530M) It has Android 5.0.2 lollipop installed.
Because that doesn't have one
