I need a little help here, I am trying to unlock my bootloader , I have already able oem unlocking and install the proper driver. But everytime I try fastboot oem unlock , it just reply " failed : oem unlock is disabled " in CMD. Does anyone else have the same problem?
I had problems with an older version. I think you have to try to update your platform-tools (fastboot, adb). Good luck!
So , where can I get an updated version?
e.g. https://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html and there "SDK Tools Only"
I kinda have the same issue I have downloaded all the proper tools and drivers but whenever I try the fastboot oem Unlock command it comes back saying it's completed but my screen just stays on the fastboot logo and does nothing until I restart it this happens on my pc and my mac, I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong and at this point I'm very frustrated.

Enable OEM Unlocking in developers option. Check if this solves the issue.
So I updated adb and fastboot with the latest SDK tools , and I still get "OEM unlock is disable" in fastboot even thou I have clearly enable USB debugging and OEM unlocking. I really need another way around here, the stock rom which is a H2OS feels very bloated for me.
Did you enable "" OEM UNLOCK "" from developer options ?

Yes , I have stated that I enable OEM unlock many times, that is why I need help here.
You might want to disable the pattern lock and then try!
So i installed the latest marshmallow update on my k3 note(k50a40) and while I was checking its features I found that there is an 'allow oem unlock' option in developer settings. From what I know this option allows us to unlock the bootloader from fastboot. I wanted to root my device but I dont know how to unlock the bootloader on this phone. Can someone help me?
Hi,
I did the OTA update to N and i noticed that in developers options the OEM Unlock option is grayed out but the Bootloader is Unlocked as i can install SuperSU and TWRP.

Probably because the bootloader is already unlocked.
If your bootloader was NOT unlocked, you would have to toggle that setting before unlocking it. Since it's unlocked already you can't undo that setting.
Please help, i`m trying to unlock the bootloader but on the stage when the phone must boot into fastboot mode it goes into fastboot but freezes showing following text:
"=> FASTBOOT mode..."
"Developer options" in the settings is unlocked "Enable OEM unlock" and "USB debugging" are also enabled.
Currently im struggling like for two days already, please help me if you can.
I tried and was unable to unlock bootloader on oldest official firmware:
Android 5.1/Lolipop "A7010a48_S143_151218_ROW"
and the latest one, which is:
Android 6.0/Marshmallow "A7010a48_S300_190315_ROW"
still no bit of luck.
Please someone, help.
"fastboot oem lock" says " Check 'Allow OEM Unlock' in Android Settings > Developer"
When I try to relock my bootloader, I get "Check 'Allow OEM Unlock' in Android Settings > Developer" and when I check Settings > Developer, the option is ghosted out. It says "Bootloader is already unlocked".
This is on a brand new flash of RIVER_RETAIL_9.0_PPOS29.114-134-2_cid50_subsidy-DEFAULT_regulatory-DEFAULT_CFC.xml
Does anyone know if there is a way to flip that switch back, or to lock the bootloader again?
Okay, this is weird. I restored from the August firmware using RSDLite, installed TWRP 3.3.0-0 and used TWRP to flash Magisk 19.4, and started installing apps and rebuilding, and now that switch is set to Off, and I can move it to On to allow the bootloader to be unlocked, if I want. The bootloader is most certainly unlocked though...
