bluetooth, DAB, Easyconnect fixes. More info to come as people flash. I will flash tomorrow.
First off thank you so much I will update now.
If I root my device, I can still update ?
And how do I make a root ?
Can these files also be used on an A-Sure head unit based on Android 5.1 (originally shipped) 1GB RAM with Intel Sofia?
Or where can i get more information about this head-unit and the possibility of updates?

Any idea what the "wifi fix" was?
I installed this and now I hear a high pitched whine when I move my mouse cursor.....not happy about it.
The 5.11 releases are for 1024x600 right? Thanks
Nice might get this radio now single din 7-8'' but still trying to find how it sound. But the subwoofer update is great. That really nice.
Still online?
Hello!
since I'm about to update my old 5.1 version from 2016something I try to find the latest 5.1 for the Sofia unit. I fear updating to 6.0 and want to keep my "precious" 5.1 . Actually the Joying site is down, do you still have the 5.1 Firmware versions? Would you mind updating the links?
Thanks in advance!

Please put the firmware repo back! I can't download updates from Joying and im stuck on old firmware!
I would love to flash, test and even try to contribute to the development on this unit, but I don't want to do anything till I can revert to stock, I've tried looking around a decent amount and can't find the original Joying images since the Joying website is down. I'm actually still stuck on an old 6.0 android build as I can't update and its a bit buggy. Please help!

Hello,
I need help to find out, how to update a chinese PX6- Based Android HU.
I have bought this: https://www.ebay.de/itm/BMW-E87-E82-10-25-Android-8-1-SixCore-Auto-GPS-Navigation-Radio-2-32G-iDrive/113662190612?hash=item1a76cb6414:g:NOoAAOSwFfJccWCv
But it says no where which manufacturer it is.
I have seen that all HUs are looking same, but have all different vendors.
Are they just like whitelabel products, and every HU is the same?
If i can update the HU, i would like to write a little tutorial in order to help the rest with these chinese HUs.
I have found a chinese site with a PX6 software version, but dont know if its compatible.
https://www.sendspace.com/file/pfbgl1
Thank you very much.
Most BMW Headunits are from GS, you find the code within the MCU version numbering.
It`s not possible to upgrade from a lower Android version to a newer one, if you have an 8.1 Unit you only can update internally to newer 8.1 Updates.
the chinese do not release source codes, if you want to have a unit with newer android, unforunatley you need to buy a new Unit (better with Snapdragon 625).

Oh thats an answer I don´t quite expected.
Are updates not possible even with other custom roms?
Can´t these custom roms simply add the BMW-Skins?
What would you suggest to do with this device?
They are quite expensive.

It`s more a question of what features do you miss at the moment, newer units also miss some features older units have.
There are two large Posts at the F30 forum, one primary for Android 7.1/8.1 and one for Android 9.0.
Note that Android 9 is available for PX6 and Snapdragon, anyways it`s not possible to upgrade a 8.1 Unit to 9.0 at the moment.

I found a page called xtrons
there are two links with update files:
https://mega.nz/#F!zRRkVThb!DYBC0LRK-o34ZxDObQo73Q
https://yadi.sk/d/umCvHqCDzHccr
I purchased a head unit from Amazon from the make AmaseAudio, based on Opel/Vauxhall and with Android 10.
I'm looking to root but I'm a little confused on where to start, here's the basic details:
Model PX30
Android Version 10 (API level does show as 29 in CPUZ)
Build Number rk3326_mid-userdebug 10 .........
MCU MTCE_HT_V3.30_1
From what I gathered there is 2 custom roms for PX30 but they seem to be for Android 9, though my unit does seem to be running the real Android 10 so I'm not sure if it's possible to install either of those 2 ROMs or would it create issues with it downgrading or what would I actually lose by going down? I'd even be happy without a custom ROM but still have root access to disable a few services to speed it up but again I don't know where I'd begin.
Another question is I'm unable to find anything about the stock rom so no kind of backup in case of anything going wrong, is it possible to backup the stock ROM on the device?
I'm more puzzled since there's nothing regarding PX30 and Android 10 from what I can find.
some news?
Hi All
looking through this forum it seems quite interesting and i want to explore this in depth when i get my android to work
i have bought a used Ford with the Xtrons PB78FSFP installed, but it malfunctioning, in the sense that it states Version Unmatched -01 and looking through this forum it seems that an MCU update might be the reason (seller had no clue). So my question is how do i find the right MCU for this model so i can start over and maybe get it to work properly.
Right now its running MTCE_AW_V3.71_1 (DEC 21 2020) but according to what i can google it doesnt fit this model
OS is Android 8.1

Hey guys,
I’m looking for a stock or pre-rooted 64bit ROM for any one of these 3 Allwinner chipsets for android Tv boxes.
H313
H616
H618
I’ve searched XDA as well as searched everywhere I know to look and I can’t find any custom or stock ROMs available for what I’m in need of. If anyone has one or knows of a post I might have overlooked please link below if possible. I have a 32bit rooted H313 that I’m trying to either make my own custom rom for or hopefully find an existing one I can build off of or anything. The ATV I’m working with is a X96Q pro android 10 4/16gb the ones I have come pre-rooted but as stated with a 32bit ROM. But I’d like to update to 64 if possible. Thanks guys
Here.... you will find what you need.......

Hi, not sure the firmwares there are for 64bit...
My logic... I cannot install the arm64-v8a version of the Kodi apk. (not sure there's any sense on this logic - eager to understand if not)
My believe is the 64bit manages the memory more efficiently.
Thanks
[hope the threat is appropiate]
