hiya,
so I'm looking for opinions on a good brand name tempered glass screen protector.
I usually buy nuglas but there note 4 one doesn't properly cover the screen which is disappointing...
Just throwin' this out there for my Lumia 950 brothers and sisters...
I received my Mr Shield tempered glass screen protector today for my Lumia 950 and I have to say I'm impressed. Thin, light, the optics are great, inexpensive and it was easy to install.
If you're looking for a nice, tempered glass screen protector then you ought to take a look at Mr. Shield.

I received my Mobilize tempered glass screen protector and its also a good one.
I also have the Mr. Shield tempered glass screen protector. I noticed that it does not have a cutout for the iris scanner and was wondering if that might affect Windows Hello? On average Windows Hello works ~70% of the time for me. I know it is still in beta but I was wondering whether having the tempered glass over the sensor might be part of the problem. The screen protector also attracts a lot of fingerprints and always looks kind of smudged.

Hmm...that's strange. Mine has the cutout for the IR camera. Mine is certainly is a smudge magnet.

Okay yall so I ordered a pack of tempered screen protector s and a case with a screen protector included and they both don't cover the full screen I got a partial refund on the one for just the screen protectors but the one for the case plus protectors they emailed me this.
Same issues with any curved screen at the edges. None will be perfect.
Sent from my Pixel C using XDA-Developers mobile app
I've tried a few and they either mess with the edge, don't work well in my Gear VR, or like my latest glass one, somehow get specs under the screen that drive me nuts. I saw a store for "ghost armor" nearby but can't find reviews. I'd figure if I have a store install the screen protector, they'd be more experienced at it. Thoughts on ghost armor for the S8+ or any other protectors?
I bought the "Ounier Galaxy S8 Plus Tempered Glass Screen Protector, [Case Friendly][Easy Installation Tray] 3D Curved Tempered Glass Screen Protector (Black)"Due to curved edges of Galaxy S8 Plus, traditional full screen glass screen protectors will generate a halo effect on the edges. We have developed a Dot Matrix glass screen for Galaxy S8 Plus, which offers full screen protection without any bubbles or halo effects. This is accomplished with state of the art technology by placing hundreds of microscopic transparent dots on the screen protector to mimic the contact of your finger on the screen. The Tray Installation design is to make sure that the glass screen protector fits the phone perfect, and it is also convenient and easy to install.
Recently got this phone and it's great!
But it came with a screen protector which seems to pick up more grease than my other phone.
I get the rainbow effect across my screen in some places coz of the oil.
Is this just me or has this happened to anyone else?
Do I need to replace the screen protector?
Yes, I had the same problem with the standard screen protector. I haven't had any luck with a tempered glass protector, since I still need to clean my screen often, but it's not as often as before.
You will find the clear tempered glass has the halo effect on the edges of the screen though. I don't think you'll find the "perfect" tempered glass, but having any screen protector is better than not having one at all.
