why this phone and its predecessor (m1) signal really bad! so i decide to lock 4g so i can get better signal, but i cant. is asus disable this stupid thing or is this just a bug! i really need it because i cant play pubg with high ping which is stupid because when i put my sim on other phone it will play normally.

Yeah..no problem on custom..u also can apply it without dialing the number because its already in the setting

the ping is unstable, sometimes its green, sometimes its become red like 900ping
but when i move my sim card on other phone and start tethering, the ping is stable at green / yellow.

I was on 186 when I first tried it (which works fine), now I'm on pie beta and it still works.
Likely you have a faulty device or a faulty update. I'm not having any of the symptoms you have on either M1 or M2.

I have a question. By any chance do you have your WiFi network set up to use two SSIDs (one for the 2.4Ghz channel and one for the 5Ghz)? If so, are you able to see and connect to the 5Ghz channel? I'm not able to with the new update. It was working fine on 5.1.1, though.
How do we know it's connected to either 2.4ghz or 5ghz? I know old android phones let you choose which but I'm not sure how to do your test on the note edge.

I have an external SD card installed. I read that someone else was asked upon initial 6 install you could make it an extension of your internal memory or keep it as external.I was never given this option. I also get a notification upon reboot of a SD card installed and have to swype it away.
What are you guys exp re this. (Sprint Note edge)

Actually I had this problem in 5.1.1 and after upgrading I don't see it anymore. I am not sure why your device is behaving this way. May be you can try a factory reset. One problem I do have is after every restart I am required to enter password as fingerprint process is not initialized. This is annoying at times. Overall experience is smooth otherwise.
And I flashed supersu 2.71. Works fine so far.

I figured out that it was my sim card/provider is causing the trouble. when I tried with another sim provider, it works flawlessly.
I got tired of waiting for official N release so I've decided to flash LOS instead (never liked the stock MiFavor anyhow). I have to say it fixed some issues for me and for now I'm quite happy with it. Even my LTE issue is fixed (previously my device could not locate a 4G network - tried several operators). I'd recommend you guys giving it a try, at least for those who are not afraid of experimenting with the phone

I haven't tested it yet as I have flashed the LOS just several hours ago. Still trying to get a hang on some other things before I get to the camera.
I don't think it will be much worse (or much better for that matter). It is a phone camera and I've never expected much out of them and for the occasional use it should be enough, for taking good photos I'd pick a normal digital camera any day of the weak. And besides, if you don't like the LOS camera you can always install some other camera instead.
In any case, I'll take some photos with it tomorrow and post them here for your reference.

It's a good update where the fingerprint sensor is working fast and the face unlock us working better too. However I got few bugs as well. The equilzer is not there anymore in the music app. also the gesture to wake the screen is not working most of the time. I hope they fixed it soon.

Make stock launcher as default home in Apps & notif.. -- default apps -- home.
Disable ZenMotion.
Enable dt2w and dt2s again and see if it is fixed.
Use default launcher for some time and then switch to your third party launcher.
This fixed it for me so may hopefully work for you as well

Equalizer has been removed as per the weird Google policy. You can install it from XDA, it's already posted here and it's working just like the stock. The wake screen issue I can't comment cause I don't have the device yet. Waiting for the 6GB variant and I think I'll be old before they release it.

Mostly no issues, except in the Hinjewadi IT park area where 4g speeds are not very good, so I just force it to use 3g, which works well there.

Yes upgraded to pie OTA without VPN and bands were missing. This morning's update is to me perfect. Can't find any bugs so far.

Some time 3times some time 4 times. But after january 351 mb update solved this issue. Now no hanging or touch issue
