Just searched for the update as soon as I saw this post, which is now. So downloading now. I'm curious to what has been changed.
Mmm. Most disappointing when waiting patiently for the official Marshmallow update for my TWN device.
Doesn't suggest that we will be receiving it any time soon.

You have to remove root via SuperSU settings, then install the update using LG Bridge.
Once I get the update on mine (hopefully today) I'll root the image and upload for others to use.
EDIT: Got the update - I'll root the image and upload it. Will post a link here when it's done.

Noticed any clear improvements in V10E??
Might be placebo but I have less stutter...noticeably less. Seems most apparent when typing with Google keyboard.

As far as I can tell now, it is pretty cool. I had to wipe all data anyway, because I had my phone rooted before, but the new permissionmanagement is really nice. The new battery-saving function which shuts down apps automatically is a bit confusing.

I would update with OTA up to 10E first, then root.
I buy a moto G 4 Plus 2 Sims and 2Gb of RAM with firmware MPJ24.139-23.1. But in some posts I read that to update to nougat I need the firmware 139.63 but my device says I'm updated. Why?
Another question: If I install TWRP can accept an OTA?

Has your computer not been upgraded to MPJ24.139-63?
Like you have the xt1641 and I have not missed any ota.
In what state do you have your phone? (Root?)

My phone doesn't have any update says the update software.

If that's the original, unmodified rom that came from the factory, then you should eventually get an ota.

Yes I buy it and do a factory reset and nothing. Weird even the patch of security its from May.

No, we haven't received any update at all, I have the phone since August and nothing in all of this time. It's so annoying. It's like Lenovo doesn't care at all about us. I'm honestly tired of being treated like a less valuable customer just because of our region :/

I would wait. It hasn't been released for this area yet and if you manual upgrade a soak you may never get the ota. From what I've seen I'd rather Moto wait and give us a more stable release than what's been released so far. I'm not sure why everyone is in such a hurry, we will get it and it will be more stable.

I have a mexican XT1641 device, I'm actually running the XT1643 N latest update with no problems. When the official XT1641 update rolls out, I will reupdate with that one to recover my original bootloader.

I want to update because sometimes the devices feels like dumb, for example i open the Facebook app and start very slow and then appear the message that crash.

The Facebook app is generally crappy like that.
It wont improve on Nougat... But if you still want to upgrade search for the fastboot image its safer and easier @Waycloud

No patch said friend and look like crazy over the network and there is no other than downgrade I did it as it comes in XDA and it works without problem I am currently in 7.1.1 official and the performance is incredibly better battery Hard but the animations faster everything is better just follow the steps to the letter and will work the mine is from mexico AT & T

With the stock rom 7.1.1 could I sideload it without unlocking the bootload? Would I have the risk of hard brick in future OTA upgrades doing this?

the images on lolinet aren't digitally signed, the only way to flash them is to unlock the bootloader.

There is no much to say. Works very good, because we have the snapdragon chip. Wouldn't be so good, if we would be on Kirin, for example (see it on P8 Lite). Z Play is very good for custom roms. Good future So keep kewl

I will suggest you to wait for some more time.
Maybe you will get within a week because the update has released to retapac and retin in 4 days so there's a chance for reteu also in few days or within a week.

Then wait one or two months for the full firmware and flash it via fastboot, then you don't need to unlock the bootloader, but it takes some time.
And I can tell you a short story, exactly the same thing was on Moto G4 plus with the soaktest and I the have unlocked the bootloader in this situation. One month later my Moto's motherboard died and Motorola won't repair it because the bootloader was unlocked and even not for money.

you need a soak serial , for downloading soak ota, i will provided a mega link for soak ota, u can side loaded in adb but remember its a soak ota they will continuously update soak 1,2,3 ota, if any ota u missed u dont get any updates from moto, ( am also not in soak )
