All Brazil & India users starts to get this, who are under soak trail.

No point, this is an incremental update and requires the base 5.0.0 ROM to work

Kudos again to the 'some people' for being selfish towards their own people and not sharing/capturing the 10mb soak test update!
Disclaimer: they dont have any obligation to do so

Indian variant is now getting direct upgrade to 5.0.1 anyone getting the upgrade first capture the OTA file before flashing

+1 for not sharing ota but no one shared for Indian users too, till date not a single person proved that they got LP soak in India, n neither any of them shared the ota links...this is the reason have converted to Braz framework n now I got 5.01 ota too..
Edit: I can say Braz framework is way much better then Asian n m having no issues n no mood to revert to Asian.

Direct upgrades r still far cuz m having 2 Moto G 2013 {one rooted n on Braz framework LP 5.01 n another one is untouched + XT1068 UNTOUCHED} nothing official intimation till now, but sooner we all will get it for sure ...cheers

he can make a twrp backup of 5.0.1 soak test so that anyone can flash this. But I knw this is india no one is going to do this. That's why i flashed the Brazil 5.0 twrp backup. it's simple to do & i cn revert back to kitkat anytime.

As we all were eagerly waiting for Android 7.1.1 which was on soak test since 1 months.
Now it's ended and becomes official!
Reportedly India and Brazil users have started receiving the update!
Go and check for the update!
If not, don't worry. Update is coming slowly and you can get the update within a week.
And now the update comes with July Security Patch!

According to the name (Blur_Version.26.51.19.griffin.retail.en.US.zip), I think this is for Moto Z (griffin), not Z Play (addison)..
Correct me If I'm wrong.

You're right, i edited the link. The actual link looks like contains some patches before the 7.1.1 tha tou need toapply.

NPN26.118-22 (right?) will be final, good to know. Is that newer than the second soak test update? Second soak test ota update was NPN26.118-10, what we never see First is NPN26.107, so it is in my phone.

Edit: Have looking for update, but nothing on reteu channel. Do we have to flash it over adb sideload or will be offered OTA, if we on NPN26.107?

You have sideloaded the update.
So i don't think that you will get via OTA.
You may have to sideload.

Should I revert to stock recovery to be notified of the OTA?

In General for Android: For notification recovery doesn't matter. Only the installation fails if recovery does not match.

Thanks. I'm using TWRP now. When I get notified of the OTA I'll flash the stock recovery.

That,s great. You are the best I'm on reteu, so brasil update (US) fits to my phone. reteu keeps after sideload. Same firmware, just that brasil is first

I will suggest you to wait for some more time.
Maybe you will get within a week because the update has released to retapac and retin in 4 days so there's a chance for reteu also in few days or within a week.

Then wait one or two months for the full firmware and flash it via fastboot, then you don't need to unlock the bootloader, but it takes some time.
And I can tell you a short story, exactly the same thing was on Moto G4 plus with the soaktest and I the have unlocked the bootloader in this situation. One month later my Moto's motherboard died and Motorola won't repair it because the bootloader was unlocked and even not for money.

Just got the update on tkpca Canada.

That's not the reason, I received it too and my Z Play is not registered on MFN.
The changelog says it's about the security patch, improvements to Moto 360 connectivity and a fix for long boot times while using large microSD cards. Kernel compilation date stays the same, so I'm guessing it doesn't change the scenario for Magisk/modules

Vzw, It breaks the stock dialer ability to send tones to phone cueing machines. Effing amazing!
Fortunately the Z2 dialer from some app section works instead! Can't remember where Z or Z force.
Both the broken stock and this dialer must be active.
This is same as attached but a newer version, it will replace the attachment app.

hmm... Magisk throws the error "unable to repack boot image". Works with Valeryian but that breaks the camera/wifi.

If history repeats itself, as with other soak tests if there are no significant issues that need to be corrected, it is 3-6 weeks before public roll-out.
