I was curious to see that apps i installed outside of Market (most recently beta swype) do not show up in the my downloads list of Market.
So I doubt the system will be able to automatically determine if there are any updates available for these apps.
Are there any applications out there that scan through the entire system and determine all installed apps and look for updates?
yes, tried googling, looking for a quick answer and perhaps recommendations for experienced folks.

I have the Google IO Galaxy Tab. I've downloaded a number of apps from the Android Market that are not showing up in the Android Market place. I can see the apps when I click on the Apps button in the upper right part of the home screen and they all run just fine, but they don't show up as downloaded apps in Market. The apps also show up on market.android.com as well.
I was hoping that the Honeycomb update would fix the problem, but it did not. I've also tried clearing the cache and data from the Market app, but it did not fix the problem either. Anyone else experience this problem?

Applications missing from "My Apps"
We're aware of reports from some users that several applications are missing under "My Apps" on their devices, and we're currently looking into the issue.
I've just set up a fresh phone, downloaded all my apps to it and set up my G Watch R and some apps are missing from the watch. Facer, Pujie Black, Talon and a few others. When I go into Wear App Manager it says they're just not installed on my watch and resyncing apps through the Wear phone app doesn't seem to be doing anything.
I had this issue on my previous phone too, most apps would install fine but a few would just not make it to the watch. Is this a common issue? Anything I can do to fix it?
(I should add I've trued uninstalling the apps from my phone and redownloading them from Google Play but it hasn't made a difference)
I think that the app just haven't been transferred to the watch yet. Just give it more time, Bluetooth LE can be really slow
Try to restart your watch after you sync it.
It's definitely not just me being impatient, it's been 5-6 hours since I set the watch up and these few apps still aren't syncing. I used my phone on my previous rom for a couple of weeks and still had a couple of apps that hadn't synced up. I feel like there must be something stopping them because just waiting isn't helping. I've tried resyncing and restarting with no luck.
if you have change your ROM do you have google API on it?
Do you know what versions of Google Play Services you use in watch and in phone?
I've had the issue in the past with a OnePlus One on stock ROM, OPO on an unofficial CM12 build, my current Galaxy Note 4 on an unofficial CM12 build and also my Note 4 which is currently having this issue on the stock ROM. Phone has Google Play Services 6.5.99 which is presumably the most up to date and my phone is on AW 5.0.1.
If you have adb, can you check log messages (from WearablePkgInstaller) when synchronizing apps?
command is:
adb logcat WearablePkgInstaller:I *:S
at sync, You should see all the package install intents.

I recently repaired my phone (OPO) with my SW3 after performing a fresh install of a ROM and now the SW3 doesn't seem to be installing the Wear component of compatible apps, for example I've installed the Strava and Progression Fitness tracking apps, both of which were previously installed and worked fine but the Wear app won't load. I installed Google Maps and Gmail and they both work on the SW3, and notifications in general seem to be working, just not 3rd party apps. Any one seen anything similar?

I have a strange problem. Sometimes I disappear applications. apk from cleaning have disabled. I scanned files by eset endpoint security. Despite this, especially after the renovation can disappear (uninstalled) applications. Does anyone have so? I tried to upgrade to 9.6.15. And out of my Google Play Store..
