Hello,
Is it possible to use the GeForce now app for shield tv on another android device? Is there some kind of check on which device the app is running which can be circumvented?
Thanks for sharing your experiences!

The app is called Nvidia Games. As far as downloading it, Google it and find your own link. Since it may be piracy, I won't post a link.

I tried the latest version from apkmirror (5.18.25767699) but it doesn't work. it says my device is not supported (S7 Edge).
how did you get your version to work with the OP6? which exact version do you have?

I'm using 5.17.25543766. No other modifications installed.
Edit: Haven't used it in over a week, so it might not work now. Will verify when I get home tonight.

I couldn't tell you that. I'm sure the app exists, since it is on an Android box. Perhaps a rooted shield, you could rip out the APK from the system and install it on another device.

maybe anyone knows more about this? I googled a bit but didn't find any reliable info. :/
If you want game stream you can download an app called moonlight, it brings nvidia's gamestream to other devices than nvidia.
Also works on the shield of course.
Sorry to revive a dead thread, but is this version still working for anyone? I can load into it, but can't login to my Nvidia account because it can't connect to the servers. On my fire TV I got it to connect, but now it kicks me out right after it loads any game...

Hi All
I just had to let you know about a app I tested few days back, it is not new but new to me
I have owned a Media Center for 4-5 years and ussually I have used Micro$oft Media Center. I finally tryed XBMC on the PC and that is one of the coolest app I have ever tryed on a PC...
After playing around for a bit I also found XBMC for Android in Market and that app is amazing as aftur setting it up I can browse my 7Tb collection on my Desire and Folio and then played every thing on the Media Center by selecting it on my Android device... prrr so cool and works really well with no delays.
Here is XBMC official on Market... market.android.com/details?id=org.xbmc.android.remote
Here is a review and configuration.... androinica.com/2010/07/how-to-set-up-xbmc-android-remote

That's really impressive!
I'm really curious bout this new release! Would love to test it as soon as possible ☺
I assume Kodi will work on it without probs, can you test it just to be sure? ty in advance
Can't wait to try this out. Were you able to get BT working.
Thank you very much for all your efforts.

It works in the video I somehow broke it, but I'm working on it now. If not I'll have to release it as is.

I don't have a mouse or the mojo controller with me. Everything was done via adb and a usb keyboard. Can't hit next in the playstore for some reason. I'm uploading it now should be up in about an hour.

Installed it.. everything looks fine.. netflix works like a charm, kodi too... spotify the same.. youtube looks good.. I didn't test chrome browser cause I prefer Dolphin because you can set the user agent to desktop so basicly it,s like the desktop version of chrome with flash and everything so the sites appear as they supposed to.. es file explorer works great too.. moonlight game streaming works fine with nvidia gamestream from my notebook... so far so good.. Mad catz should revive this product, it has so much potential even now after a few years since launch.. Thank you Unjustified Dev for keeping mojo afloat :good:

You mean do you have root by default? If so no, I flashed supersu after installing it.
This is awesome. I have not even heard of Remix until now. Everything works great minus the volume control not working, same as the CyanogenMod 12.1. It's either full volume or mute. Chrome is working as well unlike in CyanogenMod 12.1. It would be near perfect if you could fix the volume controls
Hi, I have a question about this tablet. In some reviews I read that is Netflix Hd capable, could anyone confirm this? Thanks
Go to https://help.netflix.com/en/node/23939 and click on "Netflix in HD". The short answer is that they don't support HD on this tablet. Why? Probably some kind of stupid DRM issue. I have a rooted Samsung Galaxy Tab S with TWRP and Netflix works fine in HD there. Go figure.
follow this thread... I use the 90% tablet to watch video and netflix
I have a friend who recently bought this tablet and I'll try one of these modded apk (i've tried the L1 versione on mh Moto z Play and it works fine).

Are you guys rooted? Fortnite might have an antiroot feature to prevent cheaters from going into the game just like how Pokemon GO won't start on a rooted phone.

There is a modded APK that allows you to install the game but once you land it will kick you saying something along the lines of "Blah blah blah, you are either on a VPN/proxy or on a unsupported device". I think right now the game is only supporting samsung devices even though the game supports many other devices. We will just have to wait unfortunately.
There is an article that says the v20 is compatible on pc world. If you look at the last paragraph it mentions you can't be rooted though.*

*This could be dropped if they find an "effective anti-cheat solutions."

The new update has upgraded it to somewhat playable. Things still take to long to render in game and the controls are laggy. I assume this has to do with the performance issues I'm still experiencing.

Just wondering why you don't play the PC version?
Also just side-loaded on the Nvidia Shield console and play with a keyboard and mouse.

For one thing, not everyone has the money to buy Asus Zephyrs and Razer Blades to run Fortnite with actually good graphics and framerates.
And is it even compatible on the NVIDIA Shield?
Sidenote. I still maintain that the Nintendo Switch is still THE best way to play Fortnite on-the-go...

The Nvidia Shield console cost around $130, has the Tegra X1 which is also in the Nintendo switch. incidentally the Nintendo switch was actually supposed to run Android from CyanogenMod Inc.

Ideally, both.
Snapdragon 821 on FHD barely kept up with 20fps on full HD resolution. V20 is qHD and having a 10% slower performance than that. I doubt it will run on playable margins.
Yah it's only through GeForce Now, and I still have to find a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse lying around to give it a full go, but this is the dream

Was able to do the same with Shadow. So then mods work too.
I didn't use BT mouse and keyboard. My radio ones worked, with the USB dongle inserted in the dock.

Yah, you need to sign up for the beta and wait for an key.
If you have the Shieldifier installed, the NVidia Games app will let you use GeForce Now without waiting for any beta key. Unfortunately there seems to be an error with the latest version though, so you'll want to download and install this specific version: apkmirror(.)com/apk/nvidia/nvidia-games/nvidia-games-5-22-26891545-release

What the heck?! So all this time... Arghhhh! Thx dude!
You can play old 32-bit versions of Wow from private servers on Linux, using wine and box86 (but virgl_test_server will be your bottleneck) https://gitlab.com/switchroot/gnu-linux/switchroot-wiki/-/tree/master/userland/emulation with OC of CPU to 2.0 GHz and jetson_clocks should get ~30 FPS in WotLK (at least I get on Jetson Nano). As new version is only 64-bit, you need to wait untill box64 will be released and compatible with Wine and Battle.net untill Classic or Retail will be playable.
