Hi, I have a question about this tablet. In some reviews I read that is Netflix Hd capable, could anyone confirm this? Thanks
Go to https://help.netflix.com/en/node/23939 and click on "Netflix in HD". The short answer is that they don't support HD on this tablet. Why? Probably some kind of stupid DRM issue. I have a rooted Samsung Galaxy Tab S with TWRP and Netflix works fine in HD there. Go figure.
follow this thread... I use the 90% tablet to watch video and netflix
I have a friend who recently bought this tablet and I'll try one of these modded apk (i've tried the L1 versione on mh Moto z Play and it works fine).

I didn't try it. I don't have this tablet. BTW, there is also a Netflix video called "Test Patterns". Find the 1080p60fps version of it, and you can do the same test with that video.

I read the comments from Youtube, some says that the newly released Flahs lite 3.0 can be installed on Xperia 1...
Means we can watch online Flv videos...is that true...?
I can do it on my Diamond. Since both are Windows Mobile 6.1 I see no reason why it cannot be installed. Try it.

It doesn't crash, if that is what you mean. It works very choppy though.

Yeah, you can watch about 50% of the youtube vid's, the others wont work since they use Flash9 instead of the old, and only compatible to flash lite 3.1, Flash7.

You shouldn't hope for it. In my experience, only Youtube works 'well' , and thats pretty ****ty in the fist place.

Thanks for your patient explaining, you are very considerate....
I am wondering why they created so many different formats which make things mess
And sorry for my stupid job, I failed to find out Flahs lite 3.1 or 3.0, even I have tried a couple of times...
What websites have you found where Flash video is able to play? (If there even are any, aside from YouTube.)
in my experience, everything but hulu

Which video sites have you gotten to work? I've tried www.cnettv.com and www.gametrailers.com. No luck on either.
flashgames247.com works.
Can anybody confirm if BBC Radio 1 works for Flash?
My mates Galaxy S plays the live video stream off this website www.koollondon.com
The Nexus S plays the audio but with a green box where the video should be.
I have downloaded the latest version of flash (10.1)
Anyone got any ideas, could this be a Gingerbread problem?
my nexus plays it fine both on Dolphin HD and the stock browser...
Thank you for testing that for me. How odd, all I get is a green box. The audio plays fine tho.
Any ideas what could be wrong?
Just to add i'm using T-mobile in the UK. I haven't tried it over Wifi.
Did you test with Wifi?

Yep, works fine on my Samsung.
How do you even check which version of Flash your phone is running anyway?

How can it be user error? You open the webpage and the video automatically plays?
Could it be that i've done the Gingerbread update? I'm running 2.3.1

What version of flash are you running? I thought Gingerbread came with flash but when i visited a flash website it failed to open and pointed me to download Flash 10.1
I'm on 2.3 and it's giving me the greenscreen too. It also does this when I watch hulu and a commercial plays. The commercial will be green, but the video will display fine.

I just checked my phone, which is 2.3.1. And I don't have flash installed. I could have sworn I did before the 2.3.1 update. So maybe it removes it?
Possibly because people complained about browser lag caused by flash not being optimized or something like that?
So if you install Flash (it points you to 10.1) and try opening www.koollondon.com does the live studio video play or do you just get the audio?

I just installed flash 10.1 from the market, and went to that page. it plays the audio, but the video is just a green square. I dunno how it was prior to 2.3.1, since I never visited that site before.

I have the hex edited version of Flash from the Nexus 1 threads that allows it to work with hulu and other sites that have mobile devices blocked from viewing videos. Also I live in the states if that makes any difference.
so i was using the netflix apk that was posted in here months ago, out of nowhere i get this message saying there is an upgrade for my app. It took me to the market and there it was netflix finally made the app or at least i can see it now, but i cant upgrade or install it. ...
Edit. I was able to install it so far its the same as the one i had bfore nothing new.
Yes, just got the same thing. Typically this means that GT 10.1 is now officially supported and these updates are usually bug fixes. You won't see anything new.
i just installed from market with no problem

The "Update Details" blurb on the Market page says that Netflix now supports all 2.2 and 2.3 devices....3.x also seem to work fine as well.
I doubt we'll see anything like HD for Netflix for several years, when more devices are able to display 720p and they don't have to write a billion different exceptions.
Hello,
Is it possible to use the GeForce now app for shield tv on another android device? Is there some kind of check on which device the app is running which can be circumvented?
Thanks for sharing your experiences!

The app is called Nvidia Games. As far as downloading it, Google it and find your own link. Since it may be piracy, I won't post a link.

I tried the latest version from apkmirror (5.18.25767699) but it doesn't work. it says my device is not supported (S7 Edge).
how did you get your version to work with the OP6? which exact version do you have?

I couldn't tell you that. I'm sure the app exists, since it is on an Android box. Perhaps a rooted shield, you could rip out the APK from the system and install it on another device.

maybe anyone knows more about this? I googled a bit but didn't find any reliable info. :/
If you want game stream you can download an app called moonlight, it brings nvidia's gamestream to other devices than nvidia.
Also works on the shield of course.
Sorry to revive a dead thread, but is this version still working for anyone? I can load into it, but can't login to my Nvidia account because it can't connect to the servers. On my fire TV I got it to connect, but now it kicks me out right after it loads any game...
