you do NOT need root or unlocked bootloader to uninstall bloatware. just install adb and run command like "pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.zte.numbersync". Google for "pm uninstall" if you need more information.

Is your nexus unlocked? Try one of the tutorials / unlock tools in the dev section.
Getting into recovery mode: Push and hold the volume up and down buttons and then push the on/off button. you should switch to the recovery mode with the volume keys and confirm with on/off.

There is a bug in the bootloader where you cannot go to recovery from it without a computer.
Connect to a computer, reboot to bootloader and then go to recovery from there.
Or just install quick boot from playstore

Nope it doesn't work. I'm having the same issue but i'm getting the android with the triangle every time I try to enter the recovery regardless of whether its from the bootloader or via adb reboot recovery. I restored the stock JRO03D factory image from fastboot but the recovery doesn't seem to be written. I tried both locked and unlocked bootloader while restoring the N7 to stock but that didn't work either. It's such a PITA considering i'm RMA on a screen defect and I can't seem to restore it to total stock.
Can anybody help me? Please?

Just make sure the computer is on
Then connect it via USB
Hold power+vol down as you normally would and go to bootloader
Select recovery, and it should not stay on the google logo this time.
You might need fastboot/adb drivers installed, I don't know. You can get them from a toolkit. Its easy with adb to get to recovery, all you have to do is connect and type "adb reboot recovery" in a command prompt.

This doesn't work with new KK bootloader. You must flash the Dhacker's updated recovery you have tried. Try it again, it should work.
I don't know what exactly the mfastboot_v2 is, if it doesn't work, try normal fastboot

To unlock Samsung Galaxy J7, you need to start by installing ADT tools with all the packages. You will then download Modaco Superboot and unlock bootloader Samsung Galaxy J7.
The process looks simple but be sure you follow steps exactly as instructed.
Step 1: Setup ADT
You will need to download and install ADT before you proceed with this method. You can download it using the link below.
DOWNLOAD ADT
Be sure to download it with all packages.
Once downloaded, configure the ADT. You will follow simple instructions to configure it on the official Android Developer website [developer.android.com/sdk].
Step 2: Download Modaco Superboot
After you have ADT setup successfully, you need to download Modaco Superboot. This software will help you unlock your phone.
DOWNLOAD MODACO SUPERBOOT FROM ATTACHMENT.
Extract the zip file that you downloaded from the above link somewhere on your hard drive.
Now go to the folder where you extracted the zip file and follow instructions in the next step.
Step 3: Setup your phone
Now it’s time to setup your phone so that you can connect it with PC and proceed with the next step.
Go to Settings on your phone. Look for Developer Options. Turn on USB debugging from there. It should be easy to find once you have enabled developer options.
Now connect your phone with your PC using a standard USB cable.
Step 4: Run command prompt and unlock bootloader Samsung Galaxy J7
So far so easy. Everything is going to remain this easy as long as you follow instructions.
That’s how it’s going to be till the very end. Follow these simple instructions to complete the final step of this method to unlock bootloader Samsung Galaxy J7.
Open command prompt by right clicking in empty space inside the Modaco Superboot folder.
Once you have the command prompt opened, enter the commands shown in the end and hit enter as you reach end of each line.
Once you reach the last line, your device screen will flicker a few times and it will display a toast message asking you if you’re sure. Click Yes and your device will be unlocked.
Commands to enter – Make sure you hit enter after each line
Note: Enter all commands without quotation marks.
Line 1: “adb-windows reboot bootloader”
Line 2: “fastboot-modaco-windows oem unlock”
After you enter the first command and hit Enter, your phone will restart. Wait for it to restart before you enter the second command.
Warning: I am not responsible for any bricked device.

I installed ADT then installed the Modaco superboot and extracted the files. I opened the command prompt In the folder where i extracted The Modaco superboot and entered the 1st line and then waited till the phone restarted then the phone gets stuck in what i mentioned earlier.
I'm on MM j700m.
adb-windows reboot bootloader don't boot on bootloader mode, simply restart the phone, also try with terminal commands reboot bootloader.
Maybe MM j700 don't have bootloader mode and has been replaced with download mode for Odin?

Hi there!
I tried to flash a mi-globe ROM to my redmi 3s and i totally bricked it, need help with. I followed these steps:
-Unlock bootloader with Mi unlock. It says it was already unlocked.
-Flash TWRP via fastboot.
-Flash ROM mi-globe with all wipes.
Now, i can only boot in fastboot mode. When i try to boot normal or into recovery mode, the "mi" logo appears just for a sec and the phone turns off. I also try to flash MIUI global ROM with Miflash but it throws me the error "Critical partition flashing is not allowed". Trying to enter the edl mode says bootloader is locked (problaby it wasn't unlocked first time??). Mi PC Suite doesn't recognize mi phone neither. Any ideas? i don't know what else to try.
Try flashing some other ROMs.

Unbricking Redmi 3S after Bootloop
I was facing the same issus. I am currently on newest Xiaomi.EU version and made a mistake during Magisk-Flashing via TWRP. Result was a Bootloop after nearly 10sec. Booting to Dev-Menu/Recovery was not possible, but fastboot worked. I didn't wanted to flash a completely new and official Rom via Fastboot (typical unbricking-method of Xiaomi with MiFlash etc.) because there is no fastboot-rom of Xiaomi.EU and i wanted to keep my data and my rom!
Here's my solution:
Download ADB/Fastboot drivers and extract them
copy twrp*.img from here to the same directroy as fastboot
open terminal and go to the directory
Boot Redmi 3S to fastboot-mode with Power + Vol-
run "fastboot boot TWRP-3.2.0-0-unnoficial-oreo-land.img"
Device should now reboot to recovery. (that's not the solution!)
Now I flashed Xposed-Uninstall.zip, Magisk-Uninstall.zip, cleared Dalvik-Cache and installed the latest Xiaomi.EU OTA-Update.zip
Reboot: et voila, everything works perfectly again.

Service center? Either they'll flash the stock ROM or change motherboard(if found hard-bricked or rooted) with a locked bootloader. Flashing the stock ROM doesn't take time, maximum 30 mins(including hardware checks).
Maybe you should try to enter the EDL with deep flash cable, then flash the global ROM from MiFlash Tool

Take a deep breath. Boot with twrp (do not flash), try to make a copy of your data via twrp (you qill have to access to the file manager to copy your personal data ). Then flash to the latest rom via MIFLASH and then restore your apps and data. It's not possible (for now) to have twrp on a mi a1 phone, you will have to boot it via adb everytime you want to use it.
