Hi guys,
I have an Android 8.0 head unit (COIKA , specific for my car that dont have double din) and use a Huawei E8372 with a sim card for internet connexion.
The problème I have is that Android won't connect to internet without wifi. I can see the mobile signal strenght in the notification bar (this one :

but there is no setting to enable 4G directly via USB, instead of wifi.
It works fine with Wifi but it always take 3-5 minute for the dongle to send out the signal and for the car to connect to it. And repeat every time I shut the engine off.
I find it easier to just have the Head Unit use the dongle as a sim card reader and get internet from there, but I could not find a solution for this.
Is there an app that would do it ? Any way to install some sort of driver for this to work ?
Thanks for your help !

yes wifi is 'free' tho I guess you pay for your internet connection that the wifi router is connected to.
and it can't run out of anything, must be either to far from the AP or a crappy router.
Yes, wifi is free at home except for the broadband connection fees and anywhere wardriving is availble
Ensure that it's correctly configured, make sure you are definitely using wifi and not GPRS
(Yes, I made that mistake for about 5mb of content)!!
Tap the connectivity icon at the top to see the status..

Chrono..
Hi there.
I have a brand new S4 Black Edition (gt-I9505) for almost 2 weeks now. It's working (almost) perfectly.
But since day 1, I'm not able to connect my phone to my car (Peugeot 508).
I've had several phones before and they all worked perfectly with bluetooth.
The problem is that Bluetooth Share seems to crash while asking for contact share permission..
I've searched the internet and tried all the solutions they provide, nothing works.
Clearing data (and data) from bluetooth share doens't seem to do a thing either.
Can someone help me out?

Am I the only one having this problem?
The problem is that my car radio isn't compatible with the S4. The garage is looking for a solution
I am experiencing a weird behaviour that when phone the is connnected to WiFi network and Bluetooth device (playing Music) at the same time, the WiFi speed gets reduced. I have attached both screenshots (with and without Bluetooth connected) taken from SpeedTest app.

That is common.
Bluetooth and WiFi are together on SoC (in laptops too)
Two in one kind of thing.

Are you sure? I'm wondering if its a hardware issue or something.
Try 5Ghz Wifi, it should work better with Bluetooth
Hello friends I hope you can help me
I ordered an android radio called qt7 from aliexpress. the question i have is, is there a site where you can download updates? ota doesn't seem to work.
I also can't find any setting where I can change the boot logo to bmw. Unfortunately, my steering wheel controls don't seem to work either.
the 3rd problem is the gps reception.
It doesn't matter where the antenna is, it seems like I'm not receiving a signal, is there a fix for this?
The 4th problem is that the sound quality via wireless carplay is often laggy and listening to music is not pleasant. If I connect my iphone with a cable, I have no problem.
Best regards

I don't have this stereo in the image but it's the same graphics on the screen. I find the unit ridiculous.
1. There is no Google Play Store (or icon) on the device. I downloaded Android Automate dashboard and I remember doing this through Play Store on the headunit. I'm sure it was there yesterday. Maybe others who have an Android 9 headunit? Does yours have it? If so how do I get it?
2. The Unit is now saying I have no car navigation app when I do.
3. Google voice is never supported by anything like with Automate Car Dashboard. I guess Android Auto doesn't work on this.
Does anybody know what I mean?
I connect it to my phone via bluetooth and wifi hotspot but nothing really works very well.
Thanks.
