Y ONE MORE THANG!
Y DOES THE CELL PHONE SOMETIME RUM OUT OF SIGNALS, EVEN THOUGH THEY R AVAILABLE?
Please turn off your CAPS LOCK
so is it?
yes wifi is 'free' tho I guess you pay for your internet connection that the wifi router is connected to.
and it can't run out of anything, must be either to far from the AP or a crappy router.
Yes, wifi is free at home except for the broadband connection fees and anywhere wardriving is availble
Ensure that it's correctly configured, make sure you are definitely using wifi and not GPRS
(Yes, I made that mistake for about 5mb of content)!! :evil:
Tap the connectivity icon at the top to see the status..

Looks like my system apps are uploading something at 1+ Mb/s.
They have been ongoing for about 10minutes, then I kill data. Once it's restored they go back to uploading.
Happening on LTE. I have zero spare bandwidth, webpages wont load.
I can't make them stop!
I am not rooted.
Does anyone have any idea why these apps are uploading at Mb/s?
Update:
I rebooted a few times and got a completely new IP address.
My previous IP address whois info was registered to "DoD Network Information Center."
(30.248.181.***) Which is where my data was being uploaded to. Was it using me/my bandwidth like a VPN or a pass through for other people?
Now the massive connections have stopped and everything is back to normal.
I'd still like to know why "Settings" was uploading 1Mb/s for the last 3 hours.
Screen shot of my active connections:

Hi,
before Lollipop, no problems with Wi-Fi...
Now, after many factor reset and these advanced Wi-Fi settings (

}
; ), I have these 2 problems:
1) only one Wi-Fi saved, when I go out coverage and come back, autoconnection not works. I have to connect manual or disabling and activatign Wi-Fi.
Autoconnect functions only if I have Passpoing flag on (!!!)
2)When I turn OFF Wi-Fi, in the battery status screen, battery bar is always full. If I turn off phone and then turn ON with Wi-Fi OFF, Wi-Fi bar is blank.
Thank you for any help
This is something I noticed recently (a week or two ago?), when I'm connected to a WiFi network my data connection icon won't disappear, like in this image:

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

}
I've tried to disable the Smart Network Switch option but it didn't solve it.
Is it a known bug? How can I solve this?
Model: SM-N910F
Android: 5.1.1
I have noticed the same on my phone. I also noticed that when wifi is on the arrows on Mobile Internet up and down will not light anymore. It looks like it is not using the mobile internet

Yeah it's like that for me too, so it's probably related to some update, and it's just a UI thing. Are you running 5.1.1 too?
No still on 5.0.1 for the duos.
I am experiencing a weird behaviour that when phone the is connnected to WiFi network and Bluetooth device (playing Music) at the same time, the WiFi speed gets reduced. I have attached both screenshots (with and without Bluetooth connected) taken from SpeedTest app.

That is common.
Bluetooth and WiFi are together on SoC (in laptops too)
Two in one kind of thing.

Are you sure? I'm wondering if its a hardware issue or something.
Try 5Ghz Wifi, it should work better with Bluetooth

Although the SIM card and network provider can be identified, but I cannot use the network services provided by them, such as calls and accessing the Internet.

You must enter your country settings for your mobile data and internet.
Connect this dongle 5G to PC and enter address in Chrome browser and there you must enter correct settings in order for device to work.
