Hi all unfortunately i recently came to know about Huawei sacking the request for unlocking codes in June 2018. I tried an email request to get an unlock code but they denied(their reply in attachment) saying about costumer support and other support related stuff(like they provide any in Pakistan ).
So basically my question is how would i root my Mate 10 Lite and have a custom rom on it. I tried unlocking through dc unlocker by buying some credits but the payment method isnt supported in here(Pakistan). So how can i do one of the following?
1. Unlock a bootloader that is free or supported in Pakistan(paid)
2. Root or flash a custom rom without unlocking bootloader.

Pakistan, eh? Me too. Go to the nearest service center and and demand your unlock code. Of Nothing then use your credit card to buy credit for DC Phoenix. Also, Don't expect a bunch of ROMs.

if you are still feeling unlucky just like i did a few hours ago. I came across this guy (a paid service) to get my bootloader unlock after so many attempts and desperate searches.
his website is ministryofsolutions.com he is a pakistani guy and totally legit. He charges Rs. 560 via jazzcash and gave me my bootloader unlock via teamviewer i just unlocked it and rooted and custom romed it.
FINALLY !!!

Evening,
I have tried EE and various sim unlocking websites trying to get a sim unlock code for my P9 lite which is locked to EE in the UK but no one so far has been able to produce a code for me.
Has anyone on here sim unlocked a P9 lite locked to EE or can anyone recommend a tool to do the job?
Thanks in advance!

Hi there. I'm in the same boat. The EE site won't accept my IMEI code. I did manage to get my bootloader unlock code for around £5 using a site mentioned in the unlock/root guide thread. A weird thing was that the Huawei site wouldn't accept my IMEI/serial number, and the guy who runs the site I ended up using for the unlock also said at one point via email that I'd given him an incorrect IMEI number. I insisted I hadn't and he eventually sent me my unlock code - not sure what to make of that.
Hi,
That's a weird one! I haven't been having that issue. My issue so far is none of these unlock code companies have been able to provide a code...
I went into town today and went in a few mobile phone unlock/repair places. Most were able to get a code which would have been pointless but one guy said that he could hook it up to his computer and unlock it that way. It was a case of "no unlock, no fee" so I went for it.
I paid £15 ad he unlocked it successfully ?
From my experience, getting someone to hook it up to their computer to unlock is the way forward!
I left the phone with the guy (after noting down the imei beforehand) and went back 30 mins later where it was unlocked waiting for me.
Popped in my partners ID Sim in and it picked up the network straight away!
Happy customer!
Go find someone who can hook it up to a pc for you! There are remote options but I don't entirely trust them.
Good luck!!!

+one for this.
Followed this - https://www.dc-unlocker.com/huawei-android-hisilicon-unlock-guide
But instead of letting the program unlock the sim I paid for just 4 credits (4 euros) to read the unlock codes, then when you put the wrong sim in the phone asks for the NCK code.

Hello
Recently I've got a Huawei P smart (model FIG-LX1, build number 8.0.0.122(C432), serial number XEDDU18307003822). All guides for root require unlocking the bootloader. With the unlock site taken down, I've tried to contact Huawei support via email. The result is as follows:
Dear Sir / Madam,
Thank you for contacting HUAWEI. I am Stamatios
from Greek / Cypriot Customer Center.
We would like to inform you that we can not intervene on bootloader code procedure. The request of bootloader code had been
performed since yesterday through www.emui.com page, in "Unlock" tag option. If you tried on this platform but you got an error
or unavailability message then your device does not support bootloader code. As from today, there is not an option for the creation
or request of bootloader code.

They said an unlock code was already requested from their website - the same website that was taken down with no explanation. Is there any way to root this phone without unblocking bootloader? And if no is there a way to unlock it?(that dosen't use shady programs like dc unlocker)
Huawei stopped providing the unlock code. sadly it can no longer be done from your page. I do not know if there are other methods.
Unlocked today Smart P easy with DC unlocker, for 5$. DC unlocker just read my bootloader key, and I unlocked it with regular procedure.

Unfortunately, this is currently the only method of unlocking the bootloader.
Special thanks goes for Huawei for paying $ 5, for something that was once free.

Just to update folks who see this DC unlocker does not unlock bootloader if you are running Android 8 like me. If you have paid they will refund. As they just did for me.
..
I have some concerns...I am considering picking up a P Smart from Amazon. In the reviews someone posted that the Amazon version is model LX3. All comments in this forum about unlocking and TWRP seem to refer to model LX1. Does it matter if the version I get is LX3? Also, will DC Unlocker work for the bootloader. Spec-wise, everything about this phone is what meets my criteria...except for possibly not being able to unlock the bootloader and rooting. I have rooted every phone I have owned am not sure I would be satisifed without root.
Advice?
Thanks!
how to ? please
..
what this tread needs is to be separated in a tutorial and a unlock by huwaei issues
New free metod ulock appeared lx-1 8.0.0.133(c10)?

I was on Android 8 also, and I unlocked it with no problems at all in minutes with DC-Unlocker. You have to "read" the boot code with the client (after paying, instructions on their website) and unlock it with few adb commands! Nothing else!
Please refer to:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=77841384&postcount=3
By the way, they recognize and support LX1 in fastboot mode only!

As title, is any up to date guide on how to unlock bootloader?
The only guide found here points to dead links.

Unfortunately, you can't unlock it anymore. We need to wait for Huawei to change its mind (unlikely) or our developers to come up with an idea how to unlock it.
Both options require waiting...
Any news?
you may try with DC unlocker, which will fund 4€ for an bootloader unlock code. then you may follow th usual unlock procedure via ADB
Hello dears,
I've been looking for a new P10 plus, but I won't buy it if there is no option for bootoader unlocking.
I've been accross this one:
Code:
http:--huaweiadvices.com/unlock-bootloader-huawei-p10
,
where it mentions this one:
Code:
http:--hwid5.vmall.com/CAS/portal/userRegister/regbyemail.html
Is there anyone with any experience on this?
Do you know if the Xiaomi's are unlocked?
Well, I did pay a visit to hwid5.vmall.com, no unlock codes provided there.
Do you think it will work from hardreset24.com/instruction/how-to-get-password-for-unlocking-bootloader-in-huawei-p9-plus-only-by-imei or from global-unlocking-solutions.miiduu.com/bootloader-unlock-codes-choose-model-below or dc-unlocker.com?
After the unlock code is inserted, can we flash any ROM, firmware, kernels, etc? Does it stay unlocked?
I did unlock VKY-L29 using this method https://forum.xda-developers.com/9-lite/how-to/unlock-bootloader-code-t3859685
It's not oneclick job and took me several evenings to unlock, but it's free and it works. The problem is that you need to get a unique slock file and then again you'll need edit nvme file (or gently ask someone who understands). There are very nice support if you're not pushing them to do magic for you.
All in all, i have unlocked device for several months and now i use OpenKirin Pie.
Thank you for taking the time to answer.
I'll give it a shot when it comes!
Hi guys i know the huawei stopped unlocking bootloaders but i get my phone before 3 days and i want to flash custom roms please help me how i can unlock my bootloader my phone is huawei p9 lite 2017.
It's the wrong section here to ask such questions.
But for me DC unlocker worked fine on the p8lite. I think I paid 4€. I think it's okay.
Ive used Dc unlocker today successfully . 4 euro . Guide off this forum.

Itz not working app crashing literally everytime
Screenshot
What happened in the process since you opened the webpage?
Is there any command? Is it requiring you to install an apps or something?
Is it "OEM Unlocking" menu on developer options turn to live so can be disabled or enabled?
They ask for email id and pass code
Pass code we get from the hmd boot loader app and app is crashing while asking to confirm bootloader unlock
Nokia doesn't allow to unlock our bootloader officially..
That's why app keeps crashes

Adding to this point, the HMD app pointed out will only work for Nokia 8:
https://www.androidpolice.com/2018/...-announces-bootloader-unlock-program-nokia-8/
Hopefully, they will open up the program for more devices.
Nokia had blocked the unlock process last August due to a security threat: https://www.xda-developers.com/augu...nes-blocks-the-only-bootloader-unlock-method/
There's already another thread on this forum which guides you to unlock the bootloader by first downgrading back to the firmware before this August update
It's a reliable service. This is the only way to unlock bootloader currently. I can recommend this..
My Nokia 6.1 plus stuck on androidone download mode
Please help me
How do the paid services generate the unlock codes with IMEI and Serial number?
Any luck with getting bootloader unlocked using their unlock keys, Any experiences with these?
Is it possible to unlock without using these 3rd party services, Are there any algorithms for this. Its been more than a year since its release and still no reliable method to unlock these phones after the security update.
Is it possible to unlock bootloader after downgrading to Oreo, does this require any unlock codes.
