Nice thread. However I did not install this. Many of my fnds installed and volte is working...

And I have officially unlocked bootloader....and if it gets locked...I can unlock through miunlock tool...right..???

So you mean to say that if I flash this and then unlock officially, and finally flash AICP, that I will have working VoLTE on AICP??

You've tried this? So, please try this -
1. Take EFS Backup from Alka TWRP while in this ROM only.
2. Flash AICP MM over it, then CM13 firmware then gapps, and without rebooting, restore your EFS from the backup you took above.
3. Please let me know if that works to enable VoLTE in MM ROM?

No, because AICP MM does not contain the files for volte, it has no option in SIM settings to enable volte. But you may try Sudeep's cm13 volte patch. Chance to work is rare..

Not truly, but it does have that option to enable VoLTE for SIM2. Check that out.
Nice sharing man.
Keep it up.
Can someone suggest me, if I should update or not? Some users are reporting that there is battery drain and FP issue. Is it true?

That's good , I did not aware of this. But I am on RR based on 7.1 with volte and don't want to revert back to 6.0.
You should try the method u mentioned.

According to the link name it's a full recovery ROM not "incremental" update. There shouldn't be any issue if flashed via TWRP except bootloader getting locked maybe.

Yes, but there is a point..
It is written full recovery rom, but at last it is said 'ota package here'
So, said this. Actually personally did not test it nor downloaded it. However by its size it is little clear that it may be full rom to be installed via zcx or lazy flasher.
Nightly..? seriously.. ? nightly builds on stable.. isnt it sounds funny..?
I have installed this update battery is good no heat and fp has little issue not major but little issue there and the rom is good and if u flash through twrp then your bootloader will get locked u have to unlock it again

I am using OPT running Lineage OS (unrooted) with Franco Kernel. The issue is that Jio network is very unstable and low with respect to OOS. Does anyone have a fix?
Thank you!

Hike has been causing random network drops on nougat. What gapps did you flash? Also are you on 3.5.8 firmware?

Upgrade to 3.5.8
And flash pico or nano gapps. Any package above them causes issues.

Yeah, I did. There are a 3 to 4 drops when I end a call... Otherwise it seems to work fine... I installed Boeffla kernel. Still unrooted. Better battery backup.
Hi @all could someone post the link of the firmware 3.5.8?

My phone is getting rebooted when I get a call or when I make a call through jio in any lineage based ROMs. And I have already flashed 3.5.8

Flashing the full rom will be a safer method. And the kernel is under original development.

so my main problem is, that i have here in germany really big problems with the LTE connection to the O2 Network... I have to reboot my phone manually to get a LTE connection until i leave some network.
Does this Problem have anyone of you to?

Using this kernel. ??
I flashed the firmware only. And then the kernel. No serious bugs as of now.. Call drops are minimal (1 or 2 a day) and network is relatively stable.
Battery life is around a day.. Have to charge it at the end of the day.

Umm i haven't encountered such a problem in India. I'm using Vodafone in SIM 2 and Jio in SIM 1. Maybe try selecting the bands for your sim under sim settings.

It's because the ROM you're using, is fw 318 synced. Flash fw 318 and you'll get back fp.
Can you update the latest firmware I'm currently on miui port and fingerprint is no where I can see!
Hi, I'm currently on a RR build for Nougat and I was thinking of updating to a RR build based on 8 or 9, only to test a few things for the moment. If I wanted to go back to 7, could I make a nand backup and go back to 7 from 8/9 by simply flashing it? Or would there be no turning back?
Thanks.

...?
Which TWRP version are you running? If you are on official 3.2.1-0 and you've the latest OOS 3.6.1 FW as base, you're good to go :good:
I will have to check my TWRP, I think it may be the hybrid one.
How can I find out my OOS FW?

You should find it in your build.prop, but try dialing *#1234# first.
Maybe it'll show you the FWv ver. from your currently ROM, not sure
BTW if you updated your phone to lastest MM from Oneplus, you're running the 3.6.1 FW
No luck with the code, whick line should I look for in build.prop?
bump
I've been looking at my build.prop but I couldn't find anything related. Any hints?
Thanks.
I ended it up doing the update anyway, thanks to all.
