Where is Android Update file put ? - Samsung Galaxy J5 Questions & Answers

Hello guys,
I just did root my Samsung J500G. I did root this because it's Android 6 OS. It was Android 5 OS.
But i am confused, after update it to Android 6 OS, my space ROM is almost full.
For example, when it was Android 5 OS, there was 3.5GB space left. After update to Android 6 OS, the space is 1.3GB left
I decided to root it by using CF Auto Root. As a windows os user, if i updated Windows OS, there is a folder called "Software Updates" which save all windows updates. So, i am thinking that my samsung j5 do the same think
I have installed ES Explorer, but i have no idea where the android update path is.
Thank you for your time.

Rooting Asus Zenpad Z380M - newbie to Android looking for advice on apps to do this.

I want to move various large apps onto the micro SD Card, something which was possible on my last Zenpad but no longer on this one running Android 7.0 and I've been advised I need to root it.
This is totally new territory to me and I'm looking for apps which will do this but ideally create a safe backup first on my PC in case I mess up.
I'd tried to load Kingroot onto my PC but the McAfee Virus Scanner prevented me from running the install exe file saying there was a virus.
Any advice appreciated...
Only one option, downgrade to MM, install TWRP, then install Magisk. All you needed info can be find in this forum, I rooted my own Asus Zenpad 8 (P00A)

What apps can I safely move or remove?

Let me start by saying I am a new user (and, trying to be a responsible one...). I have spent several hours reading threads, etc., but I think I'm a little overwhelmed. I'm not totally sure where to start. Hopefully, I can get a little guidance to point me in the right direction. Thanks.
Here's my situation. My Nexus had become unusable, taking up to 30 seconds to respond to a touch. After considerable research, and realizing it was no longer supported, I decided root it and improve performance.
Recently, I added back one of the apps that I had purchased, only to find it was the free (restricted) version. After more searching, I decided to install a modded Google Play Store. It will not transfer to the sys partition. Apparently, because there is too little space there. Apps2Rom is reporting 7.04 MB free space. I have managed to get it to run, but it gives an error message saying "No internet connection", even though I am able to use my browser.
So, I am trying to delete unneeded apps from the sys partition, or move them to the SD partition. How do I know which ones can I safely move or delete? I have installed very few apps since I rooted it. Most of the ones listed came with the root installation. And, can I delete the odex files?
Here is my configuration:
Nexus 7 (2012) Wifi, Grouper.
Android 4.4.4
Kernel 3.1.10
Rooted A few weeks ago, I rooted my Nexus using TWRP.
Tools installed:
SuperSU
Root Explorer
ES File Explorer
Lucky Patcher
Freedom
Apps2Rom
I'd appreciate any leads or guidance. Thanks!

Delete SHIELD Experience Upgrade 7.0 (Oreo) update files?

My Shield TV is complaining about limited storage space. I see that it has downloaded the SHIELD Experience Upgrade 7.0 files however I do NOT want to update right now (possibly ever...)
How can I delete the SHIELD Experience Upgrade 7.0 files to free up that space and block them from re-downloading? (at least for now) My Shield TV "just works" and is currently enjoying record breaking WAF - I have no interest is ruining that by trying to upgrade.
Answering my own question. I found the upgrade file in the following folder: /data/data/com.nvidia.ota/files
I then cleared data for the "System upgrade" app so that it would realize the upgrade file was no longer there.
So you need root access for this..? Cos cant find any file/path, what File explorer to use etc. I am trying to delete the Shield Experience 7 Oreo update that I accidentally downloaded, dont want to upgrade now, and its messing up my Android system updates form the Play Store.. cant install them, probably because of space.

system applications

hello after upgrading to 8 android I can not upgrade system applications. how is it done now?

Hisense 55A6G custom or better firmware

Hi would like to know I have a hisense 55A6G with Vidaa. Is there a custom firmware or better firmware version I can download I can't find anywhere on the TV a app store or Google playstore or a way to access my USB stick to install apk files. Just looking for a better firmware or OS to access files and download apps etc.
You have to access ADB and you can then put mostly whatever apps you want:
