BELGIUM : looking for help with adb tool - ZTE Axon 7 Questions & Answers

Hello,
My ZTE AXON 7 is stuck in FTM (Factory Test Mode).
The Long Press on Power does not work (already tried for more than five minutes press...).
I need to reboot it with adb.
Problem : impossible for my computer to recognize my phone. Drivers wont correctly install (already tried Zadig Tool).
I am in Brussels, Belgium. I would really appreciate if someone from Belgium could help me. He would need to have a fonctional ABD working on his computer so that we can simply launch the command "adb reboot" and solve this out.
Please PM me if you may help.

[Q] Gionee Elife E7 bricked without reason

Hello everyone! This is my first thread here. I hope you can help me and that maybe in the future I can also help somebody here. I tell you my problem and I hope it's not to confusing.
I have a problem with my gionee elife e7 (32GB). The problem occured without a obvious reason. My girlfriend was using the phone which was running android 4.4 Kitkat (stock). So one day it just stopped booting. There is just a black screen and I can't enter recovery mode or factory mode by pressing buttons on the device. At least I tried unsuccessfully. Anyway the device vibrates If I hold the power button and also it is recognized by my PC. This is why I am hoping to be able to restore the smartphone again by flashing a new rom.
The device is recognized as "gionee android composite adb interface". I tried to flash the ROM with the gionee download tool but unfortunately the tool says "open COM ports fails". So I tried to deinstall all COM-ports on my PC without this problem going away. Sometimes - I don't know why - The tool doesn't show this error. But then the tool doesn't find my device when I plug it in.
Also I tried to get access to the Smartphone via ADB or Fastboot without luck. The PC didn't recognize the device.
I tried everything with Windows 8.1, Windows 7 and Windows XP via Virtualbox.
All in all I have no idea left about how to repair the smartphone. I hope some of you can help me with this. Does anybody know how I can access the smartphone again and reinstall the Android System on it?
Thank you very much
try pressing the power plus volume + and volume - simultaneously, release only the power when the phone vibrates and wait bout 10 secs pressing the volume keys. Then release them and plug the phone to the PC and check if the QLoader driver is loaded. If so try flashing in Emergency Mode.
Let me know how it went...
tried
Wrong description!
Thank you for your help! The result was that the device vibrates constantly every 3 sconds after I stop to press the powerbutton und keep pressing the Volume + and - buttons together. As soon as I release them it stops vibrating. In the Device manager it still shows the "gionee android composite adb interface".
I tried to do the same with the device plugged into a USB. What I then recognized was that the Status-LED was blinking red every second . After 10 seconds of pressing the buttons there was a little break in the blinking (like the device would try to restart or something). As I didn't get any changes in the device-manager I disconnected it. After that it stopped to blink and doensn't blink anymore if I do the exact same thing again. it only vibrates now.
I'm sorry that this might be a tough case! Anyway I am thankfull for your advice!
But do you have access to the via ADB?

If you have ADB access you can try:
Code:
adb shell
su
setprop sys.usb.config diag,adb
I'm not familiar with ADB but I tried to get access to it via Minimal ADB and Fastboot. Even though the smartphone is recognized as ADB Composite Device in the device manager, it don't get any connection (as shown in the screenshot)

Hey there! were you able to find answer to this question? I'm in similar situation.
Thanks
with its security nonsense, the PRIV only seems to accept adb commands once fully booted
Delete Drivers
I dont know if this is still needed. I had the same problem. I just deleted the BB Drivers from my PC and plugged the phone in. It started right up.

Fastboot issue with Oreo

I finally managed to switch from (rooted) Nougat to Oreo (rooted) .
Now I'm facing an issue with fastboot command not working.
ADB works ("adb devices", "adb reboot..." commands are ok) but fastboot always fails.
The commad itself is ercognized by the system but it aways fails in executing the command ("waiting for the device...").
I've tried several ADB/Fastboot install methods, always the same result.
Is there something I am missing?
fastboot mode usually has nothing to do with the android flashed because its a mode triggered out from Any android.
however some days ago my PC suddenly stopped recognizing device ..
All I did changed port and cable! .. and it worked fine!
please try that (if you havent already )

can you reflash different android version and try? just making sure you don't have issues with device
Today I tried from another PC and fastboot is working, so it must be something related to the computer not to the phone.

Check the device manager on the pc if using Windows before anything else. It's likely the fastboot driver, select it press update and point it to the correct driver. It should be installed on the computer already so you can just choose the correct driver.
Just to share that the only way I found to get fastboot work is to install flashmode and fastboot drivers from the installer provided by flsahtool in the drivers folder.

I wonder where you read that you could use Zadig... It's the opposite entirely, it is only used for axon7tool. you lose EDL if you have that driver installed.
Nobody from anywhere in the world is going to be able to reboot your phone with adb, because you probably have oem unlocking/usb debugging off
Just run down the battery, it should turn in normally after that. FTM should have the screen on, it might leave a slight burn in but it might work. otherwise use an OTG with some high current draw like charging a powerbank or other phone

Hi there is some guides how to get this driver installed on Xda. If your computer can see adb then you will be okay.
When you plug in you'll see a one plus box pop up and you click on that and hit install. Then under device manager you can manually select the driver under c:/ programfiles or (something like that) just to give you the idea. You might have to turn on unsigned drivers in windows (command+reboot) to install the driver, but I just wanted to let you know mostly everyone has been through this ( and so no surprise), and there is a guide on Xda that can do a much better job explaining what to do.
