Hi, I've been curious as to what app achieves that first picture found in the 6T Forum Page. The one with rounded white corners for app shortcuts. Thanks!
I kinda missed the Apps Edge on my S8+ and a built-in in feature like that would be great.

Hi guys, is there a way to get Note Edge launcher on Note 4 (without the "edge sidebar")? I think that, with a grid of 6x4, It would looks perfect on our device.
Here is a screenshot (but the official grid is 5x4)
Just use nova and create it. I don't think it's possible due to the idea that the dock on the side of the edge

You can't reach those results with Nova.
Anyway we don't need the side dock. On the lower corners there are the Phone app and the app drawer shortcut; it's like a slimmed dock. That's all we need.
I like the Note Edge's Launcher too. Why? Because it has a cleaner look.
Hi,
I have never used one of the edge phones before, and was wondering if the display notifications on the edge of the screen only work with Touchwiz?
i normally use nova launcher on my S5 and was wondering if i will lose out on any features if i continue to when buying the S7 edge?
Cheers

AFAIK, the edge notifications are only available with screen off, with the screen on you get the default heads up notifications of android 6.0, so no, they aren't launcher dependent. But you'll need a stock based ROM though (which anyways isn't a case atm, because there aren't any others, but still).
Using Apex launcher with full edge functionality without issues.
Why install Nova or Apex? Are they faster? What do they offer what Touchwiz does not? I personally don't like the way Touchwiz/icons looks but saw you can make it look like stock Android 6 with a simple theme change.
Grid size/number change on app drawer and home screen, all widgets resize possibility, put one widget under the other one (cross them), a lot of beautiful themes/icon packs that touchwith don't have, ios 6 like folders design, transparent status bar, animation...
BTW, Miui ROM has amazing design, so there is MIUI 5 and MIUI 7 - ICON PACK by tung91 on Play Market with hundreds miui icons. The first one is free and it´s similar to donate version.
Yes obviously

No, I use nova and it works fine.
Hello Community,
Is there an app that can works as edge lighting notifications for the OP6t.. The borderlight wallpaper just lights the edges, looking for something that does it the way it works for Samsung phones, i. E. Light up the edge of the phone with a specific color for a predetermined time for certain apps.
Would love to have this as there is no notification LED on the OP6T.
Thanks
Not what your looking for but I have been using plus beat since it was released as a way to see notifications. Works perfectly and with some tinkering you can get a nice aod effect from it as well.
Thanks bud, not exactly what I'm looking for (like you said).
Is it even possible to have the app that I need?

A quick search on the play store I found these two, it may be what you are looking for:

This may be closer:

Did you try any of these? I'm looking for something similar. Didn't realise how much I use the notification LED.
Hey people!
I'm looking forward to getting pie on my Note 9 N960F. Only thing that bothers me is that I like the smaller radius on cards that are on other pie UIs and Samsung really went for the larger rounded corners. Is there a theme app/app or settings that I can use to adjust the corner radius on One UI to be a bit more like that on stock/pixel/miui? I am not rooted also.
Many thanks,
I don't think there's a solution (yet), not even for rooted devices let alone non rooted ones.
Agree with OP. Needs some sort of option to choose the corner radius
I saw some theming solution I think on xda but unfortunately did not bookmark. There was a suggestion for those on Oreo to get Pie like rounded corners and adjust their size to liking using Substratum and Andromeda. Of course those 2 are not yet Pie ready but I guess it's a step forward.
The only thing is I think you have to pay for those 2 apps and some (not all) experience crashes and other slight problems with Substratum. I'll keep on the lookout
Agreed, that's way too rounded. I think it looks ugly and amateurish too
Substratum is your friend. I'm using AOSPUI right now which removes a fair bit of the rounding.
Hey y'all
I just got the Google Q beta 3 on my pixel and with the full navigation mode you get the IOS like animations. I say IOS like for lack of a better term as they were the first to offer a polished version of gesture animations (to my knowledge, don't want to debate that).
I know that my oneplus 6t and Huawei Mate 20 pro also had that same animation style.
What I mean is that when you swipe up to go home the app animation goes back into the app icon itself, funny enough one ui has a similar animation for when you close a folder.
I'm surprised that our phones don't have it. It makes the whole gesture thing seem like an after thought. I asked Samsung and they told me to download a different theme...
So here are my questions
1- Is there a name for that animation style?
2-Is there an actual theme that would enable it or maybe a launcher?
I'm just a bit surprised that my $1700 phone would have such an unfinished gesture navigation implementation.
Not debating but informing you that WebOS was gesture navigation based before everyone else.

????? That has absolutely nothing to do with my question hence why I didn't want to debate that fact, but thanks for your input. ?

I'm fine with Samsung navigation, I actually like it very much. It's really the navigation transition animations and more specifically the apps. The way that they kind of pop back into the actual app icon. As opposed to the just fading out.
