Looking Radio apk with working RDS - Android Head-Units

Hi
I received a device with the following parameters:
"Universal 7003 RDS" (Allwinner T3 K2001M)
Appver: K2001M_JSH_S212203.20180927.18013454.N0025
Platformver: K20M-2018/09/12[15:42:41]-10.04
MCUver: V2.0-FF01-20180605-A02-Can0---DVD0
The radio app name is in system: com.nwd.radio.apk
(I managed to do the root right.)
The radio does not receive RDS information, no station names, no vascular traffic information, etc.
I tried to change the radio apk for several applications I found here on the forum, none of which works.
Someone could help (in principle, the tuner chip knows the RDS, the T3 processor knows, the RDS switch in the factory settings is on, is set to a European region, etc.)
I'm out of my mind, I really want to be able to operate the radio.

The one in malaysk ROM does that fine. RSS station info and radio radio text

Unfortunately, I was in hospital, so I just read your answer right now.
Where can I find this malaysk ROM and how can I get this device?
If I just remove the radio application from the malaysk ROM and put it in its original location, will it not work?

i hope youre back on your feet now, i guess malaysk has its own apk files, but to be honest, im not a pro on this stuff.. maybe you can send him a message

Does anyone have a good radio.apk with working rds?

Hi, in my unit the function was diasabled.
You have to to the factory settings menu. For my 2101 the password was 16176699.
In Radio settings you can select RDS.
After rebooting it worked on my unit- you have lot more functions in the radio app after activating.
But it maybe depends on which radio controller installed in your unit.

[Q] FM tuner on tytung's r6_oldcam NAND rom

I have recently installed the tytung r6_oldcam on my HD2.
My question is about the FM tuner. I can't find any app for FM tuner. Is there any problem with FM in this version ?
many non-sense roms have non working fm radio.
Thanks for your answer.
After a better search, i found this : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=11597481&postcount=1746 .
So.. Shall we expect something about FM radio ??

CASKA Android Pro

I have a CASKA android Pro head unit. This uses RK3066. Android version 4.4.2
Do we have a ROM development for this?
My problems are,
1. The device loads Radio as soon as it boots. I want it to load home screen with Launcher.
2. The RADIO app doesn't auto search and store the stations. So, I need a better radio app.
3. The steering wheel control works only with native music app. I want to make it work with PlayerPro. (Can this be done using Xposed? Does it need rooting?)
NOTE:
I have an update.img file located in root of internal memory. Will this help?
Thanks in advance!

Firmware upgrade and new custom scheme to: MCUVER: RL78c_NCHHWY_F070P

Hi, I'm new here and I'm writing via translator so I apologize in advance.
I recently bought a radio for a Mitsubishi Lancer X and according to the videos I should change the look, boot logo but I can't.
I have a password for the settings, even there is no such option.
I would just like the look that is here in the video.
- video was blocked (schema is KD Red)
My setup:
MCUVER: RL78c_NCHHWY_F070P
FrameworkVer: px6-userdebug 9 P12A.190305.002 eng.work2.20200520.1112957 test-keys
OSVer: 9 Mon May 18 16:43:35 CST 2020
APPVer: 20200611V2-1024x768-960C-chwy

RAM: 3G/4G
BTVer: SD_carplay_I2S_20200306_sdk 1.7
Barcode: ZF_1259X02020065131
I wrote to phoenix automotive but they can't help me. The radio is not from them. They only recommended an app to change the look, but I don't want it, it will slow down the system.
So:
I have a logo change application but I can't change the boot logo or change the template. The radio does not have such a setting.
The radio does not have root.
Is there any way to solve my problem?
thank you for your time
Sup man, i guess your looking for my theme video [emoji16]. The theme is from a custom firmware, you will need to change from the default one to it.
The problem is the developer charge for the firmware.

Hi, I also have a Mitsubishi Lancer and recently bought a PX6 (model ZF-1259S branded by ZhiFang). I was able to change both the boot logo and car image from the home screen through the "Boot image" and "Advanced settings" in the system menu. If it asks for a password try 8861, that worked for me.
I don't know if you saw this, but this video from Phoenix Auto also shows how to change the car image manually copying the file:
Hope it works for you. Cheers from Brazil.

Hey there,
I was wondering if you ever found the factory firmware file for your head unit?
I have the Zhi Fang (This is the manufacturer of almost all of the tesla style head units.)
ZF1116s it has the same specs as your head unit exactly. As a side note I have already tried custom firmware from another fellow on here. It is good firmware, and adds a lot to the unit, but it does not restore functionality that the unit originally shipped with.
So yeah, if you have a file, or a link to it, I would be most grateful.
Thanks, Rick

So I have the RL78c head unit (for a slightly different model), and I did get mine from Phoenix. I asked them about the password for the 'system info' screen and they said that this unit doesn't have that, it's locked by the manufacturer. The only settings you have access to is the install set menu (the 8861 one). I'm not sure if those other settings exist and are just hidden elsewhere, or they just don't exist in this model of head unit.
rigattoni said:
Well... you don´t tell us which MCU and firmware is used.
BTW: That sounds like an issue in the CAN settings, that has nothing to do with the head unit itself.
Are you sure that you got the right unit for your car?

Yes is the right unit for my car, everything else works perfect.
It seems like every time the car is off that emergency light button is out of power, so when I start the car the lights will start flashing and have to press the button again to stop it.
I have talk with the manufacturer and have no solution.

UI apps FF-5000 8227L firmware

Hello. I come from this thread:
Alps FF5000 and other AC8227L chipset head units - updates and solutions
Hello ! I have trouble with bought alps device car head unit FF5000 (model 8227L). System freezes, process com.ts.mainUI8 hanging not allowing to enter and listen any kind of music, dsp worked now just blinks and does nothing, buttons dont work...
forum.xda-developers.com
MCU:TS907.190518(H)
Which helped me a lot. Since I bought a radio on aliexpress ALPS FF-5000 1gbram (real)/16gbrom. That I arrive with a very current firmware and makes the radio work quite slow. After trying various firmware. I can see that the best of all of that thread and the smoothest it works is:
8227L_CHS_UI04-国外10_v3_20191207.rar
I already bought more radios like these from the seller before and they had a different UI than now and they worked frankly well... more fluid. Could someone tell me where to get this UI:
Thank you and continue advancing in this great forum.

Hi try with this software from JUNSUN it helped my device, we have simialr ones.
Download firmware from comment area in video and update device.
Then , when updated , go to factory menu with pin code 8888 and adjust settings for device (RADIO MENU , OTHER, DISPLAY and TOUCH STUDY/CANBUS - these two menus - if you must make steering wheel command s to work.).
FOR RADIO MENU :
- if radio.app is stalling or freezes - set OSCILACION to 9,20, FM and AM sense to 21-27, RDS ON, IC TYPE is your chip of radio (do not change that as these if wrong will freeze radio and commands), SORT is RADIO FREQ
- if radio freezes after bootup and wont response at all - try this app :
(just download file and transfer to device, then get in APK installer and install radio from this apk file)

I have this version: 8227L_8鑫瑞畅UI01-国外11_v4_20210705 with that UI that I say I want. But that version of soft on my radio model is very, very slow. it works much better with this one: 8227L_CHS_UI04-10_v3_20191207 . Do you know of a way to extract the UI from the first one and add it to another?

There is no need to extract anything, firmware is somewhere on this forum or somewhere on clouds services , we just have to find it on net.
Look there for upgrades : https://disk.yandex.ru/d/umCvHqCDzHccr/RockChip PX5 Android 8.0/XRC
From and by this pic inaside this folder your device has maybe XRC not CHS type of firmware, now just we can try to find software that matches UI4 dated year 2019 or early 2020 on the net.
But... I'm not sure wheter your device is PX5 chipset and what android version it has... (according to this picture inside - nb. 1 - UI is similar or that one that you pasted here)
