Hi, i have some problems with device.
Few hours after reboot i have FPS drops using device. Like i'm scrolling Facebook Wall and i see drops like 10fps for about 3-5 seconds.
Somebody else have this issue?
Edit;
Now I see it happens only for newest beta with safety update for 1.12.2018, previous (first) version of Pie rom hasn't this problem.
So basically you are on beta rom
You can't hope for full stability and performance if you're still facing performance issues then go for custom kernel only 2 stable kernels i know so far that is bluspark kernel and elementalx kernel in my opinion go for elemental x kernel

Hi, anyone experienced any bootloops since updating to latest Magisk beta 9n oreo 8.1? They're nit frequent, one or two a day. Gone back to stable and all good so far.

That's the problem with beta. You're a tester I think it's good to report this in magisk thread...
I had this. My phone would just get really hot and then reboot. There is another version of the latest Magisk by jenslody that seems to be working for me.
Are there any absolutely stable ROMs for Redmi3s? I'm currently using crDroid 7.1.2 with default kernel and still getting crashes sometimes. So far I have used:
stock MIUI - no crashes there but many bugs with connectivity
dev MIUI - better but it's still trash MIUI
Lineage 14 stock kernel - great but occasional crashes
Lineage 14 beacon kernel - more crashes
Lineage 15.1 - occasional crashes, persistent bootloops after some app updates
crDroid - occasional crashes
The crashes I had were black screens (with backlight) and reboot soon after that. They happen only when using the phone, not in a specific application though. I used to have same crashes with graphical glitches but I'm not getting these with stock kernel.
So my other question is how can I debug the crashed cause? Any logging software that would catch the culprit?
I'm looking for a rom that would be 100% stable, I can't have my phone reboot (which takes some time) because of specific application.
Have been using resurrection remix nougat version on my Redmi 3s and faced no issues at all till now.
Crdroid 8.1 by difr. I'm pretty sure you won't be disappointed with this ROM. All the other ROMS are great! This one was my favorite Oreo rom. I've tried and used almost all the ROMS from XDA for Redmi 3S Prime. Pixel Experience 9.0 is also stable. Now I'm using Arrow OS which works superfine. I switched from Pixel to Arrow Bcz I need more customization.
Hello Guys,
Since official update doesnt seem to be happening, I wanted to know which is the best pie based custom rom for maxpro m1, which would tick below criteria
Best battery backup / SOT
GCAM support / camera 2 api enabled
Regular updates and support
No major bugs
I see there are lot of custom roms available to choose from. Need suggestion to pick the night one.
Ps. I haven't rooted my phone yet.
I had no idea which one is the best for you,
people have different way to choose best rom for him self.
So, maybe you should try it one by one :fingers-crossed:

Thanks! I have seen all these roms in the tread. What i wanted to know was the first hand experience of the people who have used it. If not all, at least few of the above mentioned roms.
i personally love Bootleggers rom......give it a try...
Well, at it's current state, Havoc OS v2.2 is the most stable Pie ROM for our phone, in my opinion. I've just recently flashed it and it's giving me very good battery backup and performance. PUBG seems to work good too (I haven't played the game in high settings as I usually play it in classic setting which works really great).
The sounds are not exactly same as stock but it just works well. The audio output is good too.
The ROM has Pixel 2 Gcam pre-installed and it works good, again. Though for some reason Pixel 3 Gcams aren't working yet in the latest build. So there's that.
There are no major bugs. The only known bugs to me as of now is the Pixel 3 gcam crashing, and the headphone issue during call (the other person can't hear you while calling using headphones).
Havoc : good & stable
1. Liquid Remix latest build (Unofficial though)
2. Havoc OS 2.2
3. Bootleggers ROM latest build.
No major bugs in either of them but Liquid Remix and Bootleggers give the best audio experience ( Almost close to stock ). These are the best stable ROMs right now in my experience. Shuffling between them for almost a month now. Customize more with Magisk modules. Cheers !!

I have oneplus 5 running latest TWRP for cheeseburger, and latest pixel experience rom

My question is can i install magisk manager and app , or is it possible it can cause issues with the rom , as anything above android 8.1 on oneplus 5 is causing really bad issues for me, but this rom fixed them so i dont wanna mess it up .

In the early stages of Android 10 there was some minor bugs with Magisk but they pretty much has been iron out. I haven't had any issues with Magisk for a while now but I can't say for certain for PE. What usually cause problems is the modules you are using, these is what normally cause lag, stutter, random reboot and etc.
Hi folks, what's the most stable android 11 ROM out there for PH-1 that doesn't have any major bugs?
From what I have seen. I tried Statix OS, EvoX, and PA Ruby. Statix 4.2 has low call receiver volume, on PA Ruby latest Beta mobile data doesn't work, and on EVO X, I cannot get NFC payments to work on my ING banking app. Could anyone please recommend a ROM, that doesn't have any major issues?
LineageOS 18.1 is my daily driver, the only bugs left are that recording video has low volume and chrome crashes (but this can be fixed by flashing certain modem files, available on the ROM thread)
Everything is fast and works just fine, battery lasts a bit more than stock
I prefer the OEM one.

Hey, I'm on the latest Statix (Aug 21 build), the screen seems to have shifted to the right after flashing magisk, which is weird. Any idea how to fix this?

This was discussed in the Statix thread (I saw your post there with the same question)... The problem exists in the last two builds (July and August). There's no fix - not yet, anyway. The suggestion from the developer was not to use Magisk.
And another problem with Statix builds from June onward is the Essential Camera crash.
