NP USB not working after Android boots

I updated my Nexus Player to MMB29U and rooted it using NRT 2.1.4. Now the USB port of the Nexus Player does not work after a full boot into Android. The only way that I can get the USB port to be recognized is by booting the NP into bootloader mode. In bootloader mode my Windows computer Device Manager recognizes the NP as an Android Device->Android Bootloader Interface. From this mode I have re-flashed MMB29U and I have also gone back to MMB29T and rebooted the NP, but once Android boots the USB port does not work. Before the update when I connected my USB Hub to the NP after it booted, the LED of the USB Hub would come on... now it doesn't. I suspect there's an issue with the NP USB driver not loading correctly. I have flashed in full wipe mode and have factory reset the NP several times. Any idea as to what might be causing this issue?
Fix it by going back to the factory installed image Android 5.0 LRX21V (full wipe) and then flashing 6.0.1 MMB229U (full wipe) and rooting. The issue with the USB hub might have been caused by flaky USB OTG cables. I have 3 OTG cables and only one of them works consistently with the NP.

Nexus Player won't connect to PC except for very briefly while booting

Hi!
My Nexus Player was rooted, but this was messed up by a recent OTA update (not the current 7.1.1, but the last one before that I guess), after which I factory reset it. I don't really remember if I tried connecting it to my PC then or do something else. A while later I tried rerooting with Nexus Root Toolkit, but there were some issues with the ADB drivers I think, it didn't maintain a connection with the computer during fastboot. It also kept resetting the USB default to charging (I chose MTP, but it just kept switching back by itself). So I took a break for a while and now it won't connect to my computer at all except for a brief moment while booting. All during this I've tried different cables and actually two more computers, but the issue persists. The bootloader is still unlocked and factory resets don't help. Does anyone have any idea how to solve this?
Best regards,
Mikk
re enable debugging? The flip back to Charging from MTP is by design I think...as is the inability to shut off auto update. Google trying to save us from ourselves. Have you flashed twrp? I found the only way to see the player on the desktop was when booted in twrp. Otherwise, like you , it appeared the player wasn't connected. I do believe I was still connected as a fastboot device though.
I haven't bothered to re root as my SD card is supported and kodi installed from the play store removing any need to sideload or file explorer my way to install apps. I have found the 7.1.1. update to be solid/stable with no issues.

Quick Connect (TV to device) problem

Hello
I installed Nemesis 3.6.1 and Screen Mirroring mode is good but "TV to Device" option in Quick Connect not working.
Unfortunately, this ability disappears after rooting or installing TWRP via Odin.
I desperately need to streaming my smart TV to phone like stock ROM because my hearing is poor and I use a hearing aid. I don't like Bluetooth headphone. Please help me. Thanks.

Bluetooth won't pair

Bluetooth recognized the device but will not pair. The device is in pairing mode. The phone sees the device but when I tell it to connect it instantly says it cannot communicate with the device. I know the device works. I've had it successfully paired with another j3 and after trying to connect with this one unsuccessfully for an hour I connected to a nexus phone in under a minute. I no longer have the j3 it was paired with. I did a factory reset and returned it. I have tried rebooting the phone in safe mode removing any Bluetooth devices recognized and rebooting but nothing's changed.
Any suggestions?

Hum.. that's strange... flash stock rom and do a full scan of your phone with an anti malware.

Hello everyone,
first sorry for my english.
I have Nexus 2012 with 3G modem. I had android 5.1.1 witch root and twrp, but was slowly and i made wipe. Then system doesn't work. I decide to install again 5.1.1 via nexus tool kit - tablet work. I connected rtl sdr dongle install sdr scanner - it's working. Reboot tablet and it doesn't work. So i tryed to install android 4.4.4 - and i have the same situation (of course have root) first install and sdr is working, reboot and it doesn't work. I have info " no connected device". Before i made wipe and tablet work slow everything worked fine. I use active hub, connect directly to otg cable - the same problem.
