Just wondering if it's possible to hide root from the bar lays banking app - whenever I tried a while back it wouldn't work, just wondered if it's possible now? Thanks

Have you added it to the magisk hide list?
Some apps (like Barclays Banking app) use libshield which cannot (as of yet) be penatrated
I have added it to magiskhide. Safety net passes but still it detects root
Sorry, I am late (I know). Still need a solution?

TV streaming app blocks my device because it is rooted (for content protection reasons)
Is there a way to hide the root or at least turn it off quickly ?
btw, Magisk Hide is ON, I also tried "Hide Magisk Manager; repackage Magisk manager with random package name"

Not sure how useful the link is because only paid members can test it, the error is received only after trying to watch a stream

Try this:
from the hamburger menu go to Magisk Hide and select the app you want to hide from the list.

Same issue
Some apps (eg. banking, android pay) will not run if the bootloader is unlocked.

Did you hide Google framework and Google playstore prior to installing the app?? If not, uninstall the app and try it once.
2 years later, 2 android versions ahead and i have the same damn issue, with another streaming app. Have you found any solution?
I have a few banking/government apps that seem to be quite smart - even Magisk Hide cannot hide the fact that device is rooted. Is there another more "powerful" app that does the same thing?
anyone please?
Have you tried using the magisk module called "magiskhide Prop config" ? Supposedly better for hiring root?
Also if you give examples of the apps you're using that may be more helpful

After hiding app in magisk have you cleared data and cache for the apps.
Try using a root checking app (I am using root beer at the moment) to check root status
Do you pass safety net
Another possibility since you mention government apps is it might picking up the fact that your Knox is tripped.
I have a rooted HD10 and want to use Sky Go on the tablet. Unforntunately the Sky Go App checks for root and does not allow to play content if root is detected.
Using Magisk is not possible, i also tried Hide rootin lite 1.7 but this also does not help.
Any other ideas how to hide root from the sky go app?

I'm wondering how to hide root as well! I'm not trying to use Sky Go but rather the Spectrum TV app. Also, strangely, after rooting, I can't seem to use any weather apps such as the Weather Channel app. If I can hide root in some way, will these apps start working? Please help!
Try Magisk ... you can find everything to setup it on YouTube

Have you tried running your app via an app like Parallel Space ( it creates a virtual environment to run apps) ? Maybe it will work.
Hey guys just wondering if anyone knows anyway of getting the Barclays banking app to work I'm running Alexis Rom so rooted and of course the app detects root and closes so I have hiden root from the app using magisk and then also hid magisk the app now does not detect root but crashes as soon as you click on the app anyone found a way of running the app with root?
i managed to fill in the information for loging in but once i confirm it was giving me some error
i have hidden the barclays and the magisk manager
didnt tried to call them and see what that error was but i think it may have worked once they registered the phone once again
try to reset the data maybe when you had root once you opened it it remembers now and doesnt want to let you in
Try reinstalling or clearing data and dalvik cache
Delete all data the app has, deinstall, change device ID (apps on play store), reinstall the banking app and retry.
