Makibes BR1 smartwatch - mine has no ECG menu has yours?? - Other SmartWatches

Hi owners of Makibes BR1 (surely not just me!)
Bought this from Geekbuying for the ECG function as described on their website and shown in the user manual, BUT my watch is missing the ECG function it only has HR and Fatigue ??
Does anyone have all three entries on the watch menu - HR, ECG and Fatigue like in the manual.
Do I have old firmware (the app says not)?
Have I bought a dud??

No ecg down here.
What app are you using and can you view your gps trace?

Hi,
Using Zeroner Health Pro and yes GPS trace is good provided I first wait for watch to get location lock before starting a run. Trace only seems to work for run, not walk.
Watch has ECG electrodes and ecg is detected by the app so after pairing there is an extra ecg chart, but can't use it because no ecg measure function next to HR on the watch. It should be in the latest firmware, but isn't on mine!
What firmware version do you have??

I can't open the gps trace in the zeroner app.
The Bfit GPS app can open it but there is no trace when I open it.
Also the timer and stopwatch do not work.
Firmware version: 1.2.5.13

Initially I had no gps trace on Zeroner. I paired my band with BFit gps and it updated the EPO file (contains gps satellites data) on the watch, after that I get much faster gps lock and after running I get a gps trace - even with Zeroner Health Pro.
Shame the watch has no EGC otherwise it would be useful. What version is firmware on your band?
The Zeroner developers tell me I should have a firmware update then I'll get ECG on the watch, but the watch says it is the latest version. I suspect Geekbuying may have installed a custom firmware that cannot be updated so unless I can find an original stock firmware to flash then I cannot get ECG.

Hi! I got same problem on my Makibes BR1 from same store. Were you able to resolve yours?

Firmware
Lo tengo desde hace poco me pasaba lo mismo y hoy me ha saltado una actualización
de firmware y de aplicacion no tenía ECG y ahora sí versión 1.2.5.23 solucionado el problema

I have it for a while and the same thing happened to me. but today I missed an application and firmware update 1.2.5.23 and I solved the issue of ecg, the zeroner application

Thanks a lot, Venancio!

Hi,
I'm pleased to see some people have received a firmware update which provides ECG. Unfortunately I have updated to Zeroner Health Pro 6.0.0.63 today, but still no firmware upgrade on my watch. What did you guys do to get the upgrade.?
I'm stuck on 1.2.5.13 and no ECG menu. Do I dump it??

Also no update over here... ?

support information
Dear customer,
Thank you for contacting us.
I am very sorry, I did not see your email and responded in time.
Because China has a "Spring Festival" holiday(Jan 30th~Feb 13th), I have not been able to pay attention to your email in time.
Because too many people upgrade, resulting in server tension, so the current temporary shutdown of the upgrade, optimize the server, it takes some time.
If the upgrade is resumed, I will send you an email notification, we get the understanding of the hope, thank you very much.
kind regards,
Customer Service

Finally!!
Zeroner pro update to 6.0.0.64 delivered firmware upgrade with ECG so after months of waiting I have a watch as it should be! ECG recording works pretty well too.
It is a shame that the app sync with Google Fit is broken! Activities sync, but step count doesn't so is always zero.
Hopefully the devs can fix this soon too then the package of watch and app will be complete. ?☘

Samsung Note GT-N7000ZBADBT - no root ROM for this?

I am contemplating buying a Samsung Galaxy Note International version from eBay and the seller posted the MPN is GT-N7000ZBADBT.
Looking at the "Development" section, under the "Root" thread, I don't see this MPN at all. So does this mean that any MPN that is NOT SHOWN in the above thread is NOT ROOTABLE?
I have still not heard this ROM,
Have you confirm this is not carrier restricted?
I recommend to purchase N7000 with regular available ROM.
I found this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1452024 and this:
http://www.notebook.de/samsung-galaxy-note-n7000-smartphone-p-43124
Looks like it's a LA4, with GT-N7000ZBADBT being just a German product code?
Yes I have note with open German product code DBT and is ok. Even for the updates on official Samsung is quite fast...

I was concerned earlier because I don't see this MPN in the list of all N7000 ROM thread in here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1424997
I think I should buy the note from Global Mobile in Amazon, just in case...
GT-N7000ZBADBT is the pcode from the zba=16gb blue note dbt=open Germany device. The nothing to do with firmware.
zbe=32gb
xba=16 white note (not 100% sure)

So how do I know if this is rootable or not? Do I have to email the seller for the Kernel number?
I have been reading the many pages of thread in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1329360 and there is apparently some Note that is not rootable.

You don't have to email your seller. Just go to settings/about phone, take a screenshot and post it here. We'll help you root your phone as soon as we get some more info.
It won't be a major issue, Recently purchased devices are usually comes with non rootable ROM as preinstalled ROM
You can downgrade to rootable ROM, and after rooting, you can update to any latest ROM with mobile Odin/CWM.

Hi. I have been offered this one: N7000ZBAXEU
But after a search on this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1424997 nothing was found.
I am guessing that while the first part,ZBA stands for 16GB, XEU should stand for the country code (I don´t know where do you get this info guys, but I understood that it works this way)
XEU looks quite european to me, but I just can´t make risky assumptions. Any idea where this ROM comes from and if there are rooting solutions and so on for it?

No, not every ROM will work smooth in our Note, but some roms are nice, faster and with good battery life. I'm using Ultimate ROM LT4 and works brillant!
Next time, please use English to post here, XDA is an international forum with that language.

ATTENTION: Remote Play finally works on DRM-LESS Z2 running STOCK LOLLIPOP!

Don't know if this is being discussed already but the latest Playstation App and Remote Play actually WORKS on a DRM-less Z2 running stock Lollipop 5.0.2 (D6503 23.1.A.690, the Generic Baltic IIRC).
I just gave it a spin last night at home and I simply get no more 0x82e01003 or errors alike. The Playstation App logs in and connects - same for the Remote Play. Played lots of DOA 5, it's actually a pretty good feature. Too bad I can't take screenshots from the Remote Play!
Camera gets noisy and X-Reality won't work, as usual.
So, we are almost there! If we only get BIONZ working, it'll be the device of the gods! ;P
All i want is Mirror Function Back
Yep, i cant mirroring beacuse a lost DRM keys, i was wondering if there is fix for this.
On locked bootloader and keys intact I get that error code anyway and since lollipop I can't even connect to to my ps4 anymore

I'm on a locked bootloader as well and flashed a rooted Nordic ROM via xzdualrecovery (which no longer works). No errors encountered on remote play on mine though.
Yes, thanks a lot!
In addition; nioce cancelling is working too with drm-less Z2.
But:
Miracast
Xperia Lounge Gold Membership Registration
Xreality-Super Vivid Mode
Camera Algorithm
are still not working.
This is all I get everytime am I missing something?
I think it's still not working if you have SuperSU installed. Haven't tried, doesn't really bother me

[FYI] Z1 Lollipop update .270 and LP 5.1 official

I get information from xperia blog, Z1 series have firmware update with build number 14.5.A.0.270 . The likelihood is that the update brings the same new bug-fixing features found in the recent update for the Xperia Z2/Z3 series, along with the new clear all button for recent apps.
Hope performance fix, camera and sound too
here a link : http://www.xperiablog.net/2015/05/0...rtified-for-xperia-z1-z1-compact-and-z-ultra/
And last one, Android 5.1 will come to z1 too. will wait until august
here a link : http://www.xperiablog.net/2015/05/07/android-5-1-coming-to-xperia-z-series-in-august-says-telstra/ :good:
That's great. i hope they fixed all bugs in this new build .
The update .270 is live in Canada according to XperiaUpdateChecker.

Thanks, i'll try to look to other regions later if they already available. I can't see any news about Z1's new FW update ATM.
i received an email from sony today that says that i have an update for the z1:
" Xperia Z1: nuovo software disponibile
it basicaly says that the update is out and i have to update it with pc companion if i don't want to wait the ota that should come in a few days. but pc companion says that my phone is updated, maybe cause i have the ita version but am not in italy at the moment. dunno if pc companio checks ip and wich country you are at the moment.
It's rolling on Canada!
According to Xperifirm, the C6906 from Telus CA already got the .270 firmware! For those who want the ftf might just grab there!!!!
For the people that are interested, this is the change log :
– Ensured the lock screen / notification bar doesn’t indicate “no service” when the device has coverage
– Added a Sony feature; bringing back the “close-all-button” in the activity menu, so you can easily close all apps at once
– Unblocked devices with server policies (such as Exchange Active Sync for e-mail), to enable the new Lollipop lock-screen notifications
– Ensured the LED light is lit across all sound modes – and no longer offset by “silent”
– Made the necessary fixes to enable the easy movement of content from internal memory to external microSD card (something we saw affecting a few devices)
– Improved messaging functionality in Ultra stamina mode – some conversations could not be opened before in Ultra stamina mode
Have you already updated?
That's exactly the same changelog as the one seen for Z2/Z3. Cool! Hope to get the update quickly now (and really hope memory management is going to be improved a lot!)
post about phone screenshot of .270 firmware if anyone have updated already

Good news for Brazilian users. About 5.1.1

Ok guys so i Decided to take one for the Team and tried the indian version of the 5.1.1 g920i rom.

You can also use locale to change your language back if you did a clean flash.

Sorry to bother you here, but I created a thread asking about a similar procedure I want/need and so far nobody has replied.
I have a Sm-G920i with Australian Firmware (PDA and CSC), I just want to be sure that I don't screw this phone as this is paid by my office and can't take the risk to trip Knox or disable any of the original feature and future ones like Samsung Pay.
So, are you so kind and answer me a couple of questions?
1-) Did you use Odin, if so, just selected regular options and flashed, nothing special for this kind of things?
2-) It's obvious it didn't fail you, there are people saying that doing this fails with odin, but now that you flashed it, do you have PDA and CSC from India also? Do you know if future OTA updates are possible?
3-) Is everything working normal, all radios, fingerprint etc...? I'm assuming it should as it just an official version flashed, but just want to be sure.
4-) Have you read or do you know something about that supposedly, once you flash this Rom from India Samsung Pay won't work on it?
5-) Do you know the previous specific Region you had (PDA and CSC) can you check the ones that it's currently showing?
Thanks in advance, you'll be helping a fellow latin american guy that it's not a newbie on rooting and flashing roms but definitely I am a newbie with this specific procedure and because it's not a phone that I paid for, needs to be more careful than before.
Eu uso a operadora vivo.
I use a live operator.
I despaired when I realized that I installed 5.1.1 Rom had English and Indian, but had not en.
After giving up, I formatted my system and was already disconsolate and accepting defeat, but do not know because I decided to recover a Back-up my samsung account (I had done a few days)
To my surprise the Pr-br was activated, although if I am in languages and input not there exists our language

1. yeap, used odin, nothing special.
2. Pda and csc are from india now, and since i haven't rooted i guess OTA will work fine. Since the model is the same and i can't wait for brazilian carriers to update the phone, i'll keep instaling whatever rom is released first for this phone.
3. Everything is fine and dandy
4. I thing samsung pay won't work on this rom. They don't have it in india or Brazil, so no changes for me here.
5. i had the brazilian pda and csc. Now it's from india.

I really appreciate your response. Just one thing, about Samsung Pay, right now, it hasn't been released yet, so nobody had it, but a quick Google search for Samsung Pay India tells me sonething different, according to dozens of articles I found, apparently India and most if not all regions will be able to use Samsung Pay.
When I asked about it, it was more like I asked that by doing this something was tripped or flagged and teeth Samsung Pay won't work, but if because of the market, I think we safe by asking that it should work when is released.
Thanks.

Mine was an Australian baseband, I flashed this Rom with Odin and everything works as expected, only thing you will notice is that if you connect to Smart Switch app for PC or MAC it will still detects the Original CSC, I was curious about it and installed Phone info apk and it shows correctly the information, both PDA and CSC are now from India but it shows that the Original CSC was XSA (In my case), Firmware's CSC code is INU (India) and Active CSC code it says XSA/INU, so I'm assuming that it's showing multiple CSC.
Does somebody know if having the Active CSC showing XSA/INU causes future OTA issues?
**Edit**
I decided to remove the Re-activation Lock in Find My Mobile settings, and after that and enter to recovery mode, it changed the CSC to India, so for those of you with same issues, remember about Re-activation lock.
I live in Honduras, central America, got the 920I and yesterday I got a message about the OTA update which said it was 5.1.1. Haven't tried it because I'm not at home and there's no Wi-Fi in here.

Go to Settings-Language and Input-Language and choose Portugues (Brasil).

Has anyone got the official Android N update for the Moto G4 (XT162x)?

I've seen various reports of people saying they've got the update for their XT1640s.
But only three reports about the regular, non-Plus G4, XT162x.
So have any of you got it?
Build number is NPJ25.93-11 -- This is the final version and has been rolling out officially in Brazil since December 6th, although in stages, and very few (and i mean really few) users were able to update their phones.
Mine didn't get it yet.
If you received it, what is the size of the OTA? And is it fluid and stable?

Update is coming. "Motorola esta demorando para actualizar" = "Motorola is taking too long to update" (Google translate)
Someone can capture the OTA zip?
According to the following link it hasn't been released anywhere except AOSP. You'll have to choose your language and device.
