[Guide]How To Root Honor 5X Running Marshmallow

As we all know Indian variant of honor 5X received official Marshmallow update from Huawei .So in this guide I am gonna show you guys how to root it.
Lets Begin
Requirements:
1)Honor 5x
2)Unlocked Bootloader
If you don't have unlocked bootloader then don't worry just follow this guide

Again all credit goes to Chainfire.I just mirrored the specific build.
Steps
1)After unlocking bootloader install twrp.
2)Copy Beta SuperSU to your internal memory or external sd.
3)Boot into twrp and swipe to allow modifications to system.
4)Tap install and locate the SuperSU zip.
5)Wait until it finishes flashing and then hit reboot.

The EMUI website isn't working for me. Can someone help me here? I want to get the unlock code.

Hey guys, I'm having trouble accessing the unlocking website, it just crashes. Can someone help me out here? I can't create a nickname. Each time it says wrong nickname or duplicate nickname, even after following the naming convention.

i tried all the versions including latest release and latest beta release. and the link mentioned in the description. i tried all but nothing worked.

anyone else tried marshmallow I am thinking about rooting my phone to try this.

which twrp version are you using... if you are using older one then update it to latest one and then try...

You should use SuperSU 2.79. Rooted the KII-L05 with it last night -- this is a GR5 (Canadian variant of the Honor 5X).

On Twrp get Back to Stock

If you made a backup with twrp from your stock rom then restore it with twrp. If not you can easily follow through one of the guides to flash stock rom or nougat.
But you didn't mention what you want after updating?

i tried all possible ways it did not work, We really we need someone to help us with rooting Samsung A51

Please send logs to try to find the cause of the problem. Also asked in magisk discussion for solutions because this firmware has 2 different vbmeta imgs one vbmeta_samsung.img and another vbmeta.img.
Adb says it is treble enabled.

A working rooting method for the A51 would be greatly appreciated! I would be more than happy to donate 20 euro to the one who can help me out!

New A515F International unlock vesion just arrived. Waiting for development lol

So TWRP is coming soon. To root you need to wait for TWRP because there are 2 vbmetas
Vbmeta.img
Vbmeta_samsung.img
Vbmeta.img can be patched to allow magisk to work but Vbmeta_samsung.img cannot. To fix this you need to install a signed TWRP image with special keys. @geiti94 will sign his TWRP image to work with vbmeta_samsung.img
Hope this cleares all of your thoughts. Thank samsung for making this so complicated.
