S Pen ran out of ink

I am experiencing a weird issue with my intl note. whenever I go to smemo and try using handwriting option the pen leaves no marks on the screen. it works fine taking screenshots or with other tasks but it just does not work when comes to handwriting. any suggestions would be appreciated!
just to be sure, are u pressing the push button on s-pen while writing. Coz if u do then it will not take notes

yeh... the button...
Make sure you aren't pressing the button.
Or else you might need to head down to the shops and buy some digital ink!

Cool Jellybean Features

Maybe you already discovered it, but if you hold the pen button while hovering over the screen in S-Note, it takes you to an image search feature similar to MS Office's clipart search, if your're familiar.
Clicking the S-Pen button while in S-Note changes the writing utensil and then changes to eraser.
You find any cool features others may not know about?
Samsung hasn't updated the User's Digest yet for the Note 10.1. Almost all of the features in the Note II User's Digest also apply to the Note 10.1. You can download it from play to get more detail on some of the stuff that's been added in JB.

Its funny to see what comes up in the search window of the tutorial when the demo searches for samsung in the quick coomand gesture section.

Cool... and if you click the pen and move it up (as a stroke) it opens up another useful feature - you can write in a box for example : ?weather - brings up latest weather - check it out - its quite cool

Ah yea, the Quick Commands. I wish some1 would mod the S-Pen to recognize quick gestures without having to wait for that box to come up. Man...the Spen has so much potential, but little dev love xD
Yes - so much potential. I love using the pen. I still haven't had a great play with the pen . Im not entirely sure what does what when it comes to the button. Im learning but slowly ...lol

Not sure I'm following... without the quick command you can only go "back" minus gesture "options" triangle gesture "quick command" line up gesture, open note pad etc etc.
You cant invoke web browser, email etc without first opening the quick command menu.
Am I missing something?
Thanks!!!
There is an app in the market called gmd s pen .. You can configure a ton..

There should be a trial version in xda somewhere..

I appreciate your eagerness to help but that what you have pointed out is completely different.
S pen work s flawless and AIR COMMAND opens up the moment I hover click the s pen button.
MY PROBLEM is that when I am handwriting in SNOTE , clicking the button gets air command activated rather than toggling between different preset colour pens.
+1 on the OPs concern..
This was an excellent feature of S-note.. time saving and efficient..
I tried even to disable air command to get it back with no success.. i hope samsung issues a fix >>

Lecture Notes and freaking scrapbook

I use this beast for almost everything. Using Lecture Notes I cannot make the pen button act as a second pen setup. I have it set in LN as a custom pen set as a highlighter. However when trying to use the pen button in LN it always reverts to the Note 's scrapbook feature.
Anyone know how to disable the scrapbooking "feature" when using something like Lecture Notes?

[Q] Handwriting input

I'm thinking about getting the Note 3, just a quick question for you guys: Can you use the handwriting recognition to enter text in any place there is text entry? For example, in a Gmail body or in a Word app like OfficeSuite?
Thanks
