[Q] HD2 Damaged touch screen

Hi guys, first sorry for my English, today I have an accident with my phone and the Touch Screen is damaged  , well the question is if somebody knows if I can replace my touch screen with a T-Mobile touch, my device is not T-Mobile..
I’m not pretty much sure what version I have, I always believes that I haves the European version, but th model below the battery is T8585, and as far I Know this is and US version…

Hi everybody!
I have had an i9505 for a couple weeks in june before returning it because the screen was terrible (there were faint colored lines when displaying plain grey). One month after the order, the store handed me a different model because their provider was out of stock : an i9515.
The seller assured me that it was the same with kitkat preinstalled. Judgeing from the characteristics printed on the box it looks so, but I noted a couple differences :
- Antutu detects it as a Galaxy Note 3 LTE-A
- the front cam looks different
- there was a sticker on it saying it was europe only
- it appears to heat a lot less than the i9505 i had.
Here are all the things i could tell about it. I would like to know if there are more differences, and if it's a better or worse speced model than the i9505. Also, can I pick ROMs and Kernels made for the i9505 for my i9515?

A simple google search shows that the i9515 is a "value" edition, so probably its a cheaper variant. If i were you, i would go back to the seller and get back a i9505 or demand a refund.

I just got a gt-i9515 as well.
From what I read on other italian forums it appers to be just the same as 9505, but with KitKat 4.4.2 already installed.

Just found another thread here on XDA... probably there are some small differences as well,
and seems digitizer is not working correctly with touch recovery and CM11

awww if I get all this well, My phone is the exact same as a 9505, but the touchscreen is different in a way that makes 9505 ROMs not work on my phone?

LG G2 Screen replacement doubt

Hi guys, I need to know one thing about the screens replacement for LG G2, I've been watching a lot, I found this replacement from UK but the description says it is not compatible with version 4.4 (KITKAT?), I asked and say their engineers say it is not supported.
So if anyone wanted to consult you you know what the problem is, and if you know of any screen replacement that does not have this problem.
Thanks in advance, as I need to fix the phone because I'm out of line.

[Q]Compatibility of european screen

Whats' up, guys?
So I looks like this: my brother got new phone (yes, you guessed it LG G2 ;D ) and after about 2 weeks he broke the screen. But it turned out that version we have is not European D802/D800 but Korean (I think so) F302.
Because of that in every serve that we asked for help we've been told that screen for european models might not be compatible. So I'm asking you guys. Does somebody know if the screen have any differences?
I'm posting HERE some photos of screen so maybe someone that have original screen would be able to tell.

Fake/replica Touchscreen only working on 4.2.2

Hello everyone, I bought a replica screen from an online seller who doesn't want to refund me.
I found a thread in this web site that said some replicas only worked with 4.2.2, so I downgraded from 5.1 to 4.2.2 and touchscreen works, but I don't want to be stuck with this version, some of the apps I use doesn't work with this version, is there any way to make the touchscreen controller work with at least 4.4.4?
I read a thread from iFixit called "Touchscreen not working after display change"and the user projectgus says something about CyanogenMod fixing the issue for a while or that's what I understood.
Is there anything else I can try?. any advice?

I have never heard this about touches only working on 4.2.2. I have heard about nexus phones with damaged Emmc chips that will boot loop on any rom above 4.2.2.

Me neither that's why I bought the screen, it was cheaper than other sellers but not for much, after recieving the screen I replaced it right away and it was not working(I had 5.1), contacted the seller and asked to solve the issue, either send me another screen(which would have been the same replica screen) or refund me, but didn't respond and now his account is closed and the website it's not going to pay for it, so I was stuck with it, found out about this solution and flashed my nexus to 4.2.2. and worked but some of the apps I use need at least 4.4.4.
I will have to save up for a oem screen replacement, I live in a small town and no ones replaces digitizer... so buying an oem digitizer it's not an option...

Oem screens are expensive. I replaced a few broken screens using pre-assembled lcd/frame/glass units from aliexpress and have not had any problems installing custom or stock Roms.
If the phone only works on 4.2.2, it's possible the Emmc chip is damaged.
