Hey,
i hope you guys can help me because im drowning with information here...
to make along story short.. i bought 2 p8 lite from germany few months ago... both was working great.
one of them fell into water and got damaged...
to fix it, i bought "new" mainboard also from germany. when i assembled it i discovered that its branded (vodafone).
it loads much slower then the other unbranded phone, and the much more disturbing issue is that almost none of the sensors are functioning (proximity, accelerometer, gyro) and second sim is disabled.
as far as i know is not a hardware malfunction, and i think that maybe it can be fixed by flashing new firmware.
the current version of the board is ALE-L21C02B130
i wanted to ask few things:
1. how can i know with version is suitable to my phone now (i want to unbrand it and to enable second sim)
2. once i flash it with other firmware will i be able to get OTA updates
thanks for helping
A friend asked me if i could repair his p8 lite 2017 and bought a brand new display+frame (broken glass, touch screen perfectly working)
The touch screen worked before the repair, now nothing even with a brand new part
The old screen doesn't work either now so i think it's a software issue of some sort
Anyone had the same issue?
chech connections or reflash stock rom by fastboot or by using the tutorial in how to root thread
Hi all,
I bought a Huawei nova lite (was-Al00) on Ali. This one was rebranded by the seller as a was-lx2c636.
When I try to get the unlock code trough Huawei's official website, it just says 'contact us for any question' but no code is delivered.
Can anyone help me ? Any suggestion? I tried to create a new Huawei ID through the Chinese website but I need a Chinese phone number, of course...
Other thing: FF finds a c432 firmware authorised for my mobile (was-lx1ac432b210). Can I try to install it or will it brick my phone or just won't install.
I live in Belgium. Phone is 64gb, 4gb ram, dual Sim.
And finally, I've got a problem with the compass that is not working. I tried a full reset with no help and other compass apps. Any idea ? It's one of the reasons I want the bootloader unlock code.
I suugest you ask to ali the code if not use the warranty and money back
You're not the only one, at least with the compass issue. I live in Europe and purchased Huawei P10 Lite WAS-LX1A from a reseller. Compass was not working, and instead of returning to seller I somehow mistakenly got it to warranty repair, and they apparently replaced the motherboard with 32GB model (because only this standard model is supported in Europe). Compass was working, but I returned the phone and bought a new 64GB model from another reseller. Big surprise: compass sensor not working, not showing any signs of life, as if it's not even there, same as before. Now I'm starting to suspect that this particular 64GB variation has compass sensor replaced with storage unit? But I didn't find any information on this.
Hello Members, Hope ya all doing fine
Recently I bought A used Huawei P8 from OLX its a good phone but after couple of days I found some features missing in this device like Dual Window , Screen Lock Widget and when I entered its IMEI to huawei IMEI info check website its showing 16GB variant phone but I have 64GB variant so I am a bit confused here I am attaching a screen shot of my Phone About please take a look and tell me if I am using the correct firmware
Thanks
Maybe is this the result of a restored firmware afber a custom rom was applied?
Whilst on holiday my OnePlus 6T got short-circuited (mainboard frazzled). After sending it to OP repair service they wanted to charge €300 for the replacement and install. I've decided to do it myself. My question is: I've bought an OP 6T mainboard with the original IMEI number. What do I need after inserting said mainboard? Is the operating (Oxygen OS) preinstalled or am I going ROOT & Stock ROM it. Any helpful suggestions would be appreciated.
