[TUTORIAL][MEIZU] unlock bootloader, root, install xposed, custom rom for all meizu

Meizu comes with locked bootloader and it's vulnerability is not found for root.
So kingroot can also not root these devices
But with flyme(yun os) account you can get system privileges (root)
Another issue is for Some firmware there is no access to flyme account
"mzaccount" named app present in system apps which can be opened by nova activity like function of apps (use nova launcher, or lmt activity(lmt app then set activity mzaccont to open)
Then register your account Then go to option then tick the system privileges to get root
Just after selecting the system privileges device reboots do not afraid
After that you can give root permission to apps
Anyway second good news...
On meizu phones you can use xposed framework (apps )
You need an update.zip(firmware) in outermost part of your internal =sdcard/update.zip(better if you check it and install through recovery; first time)
Choose arm64 xposed framework for 64 bit phones like m2 note/mini
Then install your xposed framework (flash using flashfire apk by chainfire ; it may take upto 30 minute to complete in *black* screen don't afraid).
Before installation xposed you should wipe dalvik chache and chache.
When your device booted you may see app optimization starting again and again but don't worry it'll be completed.Complete installation and boot to system may take upto 1 hour so keep patience.
If you stuck in bootloop(just in case) then swich off for 15 seconds and reboot recovery and update through recovery.
I'm not responsible if any bad happens to you.
Don't delete update.zip(firmware). Put it as /sdcard/update.zip forever.(who knows when will you stuck in bootloop)
Don't flash rom with flashfire.
#####UNLOCK BOOTLOADER####
Remember by unlocking bootloader your all files(in internal) and data+ apps will be cleared
Things you'll need
1. Unlock script + recovery
(a) for meizu m2here
(b) for mx4
(C) for m1 note
2. Auto adb driver installer here
3. adb+key.exe here
4. Minimal adb and fastboot here
5. Apps- busybox free, terminal emulator ,super su
**Now see this video in YouTube**
THIS IS A PROBLEM WITH MEIZU USERS IF THEY SEEING A LONG BOOT TIME THEN HORRIFICALLY SOMETIMES THEY CAN NOT BOOT TO RECOVERY OR FASTBOOT BUT TRY WITH COOL MIND IT'LL BE DONE
Don't afraid if you seeing bootloop let it complete
Time expected
1. for setting up driver and adb 10 minutes
2. for su binary update 5 minute
3. for install busybox 3 minutes
4. after unlocking bootloader may take time upto 2 hours in bootloop
5. in meizu boot animation takes upto 25 minutes
keep in mind
1. Try not to modify too deeply .
2. Tick usb debugging.
3. Try not to flash Rom or recovery on meizu devices without unlocking bootlaoder and deep knowledge.
4. Don't install xposed framework if you are not aware of risk .
5. Don't give file explorers root for always .
6. Don't try to delete system apps only freeze .
7. Flyme os/yun os is heavily modified Rom so don't need other theming or modification.
Sorry for my bad English

Not tested but you can try ....
If flash Gordon not works then try flashfire"app.
Flash fire takes sometime 1 hour for flashing
Don't forget to put update.zip firmware in the root of sdcard
Hello,
Your tutorial about xposed also works on lollipop flyme 4.5.7 I ?
Thanks!
It will work on any meizu mobile ..no matters its locked or unlocked bootloader ...but dont try to use deep theming apps neither you'll face bootloop. If you face any type of bootloop (wait 30 minutes) then update the firmware through the native/stock flyme recovery

Hello guys, please i need help on reviving my meizu m2 note. It is stuck in bootloop after trying to install Xposed Framework. The boot up is just stuck in the FLYME LOGO. The major problem now is that the phone fails to enter RECOVERY MODE else i would have wiped data/cache or even flash UPDATE.ZIP. The phone enters fastboot mode though but the bootloader is locked so, i cant flash anything via fastboot mode.
Please, help me out.

[GUIDE] Installing & Updating Weekly China Dev Rom - Keep Root, GApps, TWRP

[Tools, Tips & Tutorials] Installing & Updating Weekly China Dev ROM - Keep Root, Gapps, TWRP
I had encountered many problems while flashing the latest weekly ROMS and will like to share what worked for me.
Right now, there is no Global Developer ROM for Redmi 3, thus we will have to survive with China Developer ROM (which is better).
What is the difference between Global Developer ROM and China Developer ROM?
The difference is the China Developer ROM has no GApps (but we can flash it easily), but you get the quickest Weekly Updates (every Friday, around 0200 GMT), and it also comes in English (only English, Chinese Simplified, Chinese Traditional available). The China Developer ROM also includes many Chinese bloatware which you can freeze using ROM Toolbox Lite or others.
Will I be able to get OTA after rooting and having TWRP Recovery?
No, you will be able to download and your phone will try to install it.... unsuccessfully and will request for you to download the full ROM.
After updating is root still available?
No, you will have to re-root.
I thought the China Developer ROM have a root option out of the box?
Yes, there is a root option under the Security -> Permissions, but it is a limited root. Adaway will not work. You can't freeze some system apps as well. It is a useless root.
STEP 1 - Install China Developer ROM
a. You need to be on China Developer ROM first. If you are on Global Stable ROM then you need to install China ROM and then you can install China Developer ROM.
b. Google "redmi 3 china developer rom", and choose the first link.
Download the China Stable ROM. Install it using Updater app in your Redmi. Press the 3 dots on the top right to choose the file you downloaded.
c. After installing that, go back download the latest Beta ROM (updated weekly) and install it.
d. Now you will be in China Developer ROM.
STEP 2 - Unlock Bootloader
a. Go to the MIUI Unlock site.
b. Login using facebook (easier)
c. You will be asked for your phone number which Xiaomi will send a SMS with a code for verification.
d. You will be asked for a reason to unlock bootloader. Just type something like "Phone bricked and stuck in bootloop."
e. After a few days (it took 2 days in my case), Xiaomi will send you a SMS letting you know that you have been approved.
f. Install MiFlash Unlock
g. Login to your Mi account on your phone. (Mi Account app)
h. Go into Fastboot mode. (Power off, then hold Volume Down + Power till you enter Fastboot mode).
i. Connect phone to PC. Open MiFlash Unlock, login, and press unlock.
j. After 10 seconds, your bootloader is unlocked.
STEP 3 - Install TWRP (Cofface Edition)
a. You can install the official TWRP but it will require some editing of some files. There is a modded TWRP which has made it easier without any editing. Search for "REDMI 3 TWRP Cofface" on the MIUI forum
b. It comes with a *.bat file which means once you open it, the script will install and reboot the recovery automatically.
c. Boot into Fastboot mode, connect to PC, and click the *.bat file. After it works its magic you will be rebooted into TWRP, in Chinese.
d. Swipe right (warning that you will have the power to edit system files).
e. To change language, 3rd button down, right row.
f. When you wish to exit, swipe the big button on the bottom to disable recovery going back to stock, thus keeping TWRP.
STEP 4 - Install Gapps
a. There's two methods. Flashing Open GApps in TWRP or installing an app called Google Installer (download from MIUI forum) which will download the required files and install it. Installing with the app, I encountered many Play Store error (like unable to connect to Play Store). I recommend flashing the first method.
b. Download from GAPPS official siteChoose Platform: ARM64, Android: 5.1. The Pico variant will work fine.
c. Power off. Hold Volume Up + Power Button. You will get into a menu with Chinese words. Press the button that has the word "recovery".
d. Flash Gapps, and remember to Wipe Cache afterwards.
e. Restart and you will have Play Store etc. on your phone.
STEP 5 - Root (with SuperSU)
a. Download the zip file from the official Chainfire site.
b. Boot into TWRP
c. Flash SuperSU, Wipe cache, Reboot
d. Rooted
STEP 6 - Updating ROM Weekly
a. Download the latest beta ROM. You need the full ROM (which is typically 900MB and above).
b. Go to TWRP, flash the ROM, wipe cache, flash Gapps (or you won't be able to connect to Play Store), wipe cache, flash SuperSU (because flashing the ROM removes root), wipe cache. Reboot.

My experience with "Custom Binary Blocked By FRP / FAP Lock"

So everything was working well with my S7 (Helios 7 Rom), but I wanted to try the S8 AOD apk.
After flashing the zip some wierd graphical glitches started appearing on my phone, so I tried to fix them by disabling done options.
Well the issue is, I didn't know that If you disabled developer options (or the OEM unlock option specifically) then your phone won't boot as long as you have a custom recovery.
The error you'll get is: "Custom binary vlocked by FRP lock"
(top left corner in red when you're on the samsung text while booting)
The only thing you're able to boot into is download mode.
(btw and to quit download mode you'll have to hold vol down home power)
Many people were saying that wiping is the only way to fix this, but i can't wipe as I have important data on the internal storage.
But luckily I was using a stock rom, so I downloaded a recent S7 nougat firmware from the general forum here and flashed it with Odin, and what do you know! I was able to boot normally and my internal storage files are all there.
Now to go back to TWRP and custom roms, I have to wipe my internal storage but at least I can backup everything and flash cfroot to get root then backup all my apps with titanium backup (to external storage).
After that just follow this thread:
[ROOT] (Updated) Official Stock Nougat 7.0 (100% Working) - All Exynos Models
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s7/how-to/root-official-stock-nougat-7-0-100-t3540765
then you'll be back to twrp and can flash custom roms. (but that procedure will wipe your internal storage.
good luck to everyone, just wanted to share this in case anyone faced the same situation as me.

Galaxy J7 2016 (SM-J700T/T1) How to Root and Install Xposed

MM/N - How to Root Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016), Install TWRP, and Install Xposed. (SM-J700T/T1)
Disclaimer
Your warranty is now void.
I am not responsible for any bricked devices. This is the way I did it, some steps may not be necessary.
I'm just sharing what worked for me.
Preparation for ROOTING J7 (2016) :
● Enable USB Debugging on your J7 (2016)*
This is very important thing to be done before you try flashing a firmware or recovery file. USB Debugging mode make Android devices receptive to download and send data over USB cable connection. If you do not know how to turn debugging mode ON, do this :
● In your ROM, go to Settings -] About device. Tap 7 times on Build number to enable Developer options.*
You will see a message that “Developer mode has been enabled” on your device.
● Now go to Settings -] Developer options : Tap it and go to USB debugging option and check the box to enable it.
● In the ‘Developer Option’ you will also find the ‘OEM Unlocking’ option, just enable it. (You need to enable OEM unlock, Otherwise you might end up with boot problems or be unable to flash later on)*
● Install Samsung Android USB Driver for Windows to your Laptop/PC, Then connect your Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) with USB cable. It will configure driver automatically.
How to ROOT Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) :
1.] Download Odin, TWRP Recovery, Custom Kernel & Magisk files to your Laptop/PC.
2.] Turn off your phone, Go to download mode (by pressing Volume down+Home+Power buttons at the same time for about 6-8 seconds).*
3.] Press the Volume up button to continue.
4.] Open the ODIN file and run you downloaded on your Laptop/PC.
5.] Connect your phone to your Laptop/PC through orignal USB cable.
6.] When ODIN detects your phone, It will show added in the Log.*
7.] In ODIN click on AP and then select the twrp recovery file by ashyx(twrp_3.0.3-1_sm-j700t_23217.tar). under Options tab disable Auto Reboot. Click on start, The flashing process will start. Once the flash is complete, exit Odin and disconnect your J7 from USB cable. Press Volume down+Home+Power buttons at the same time until the phone turns off, then immediately switch Volume Down to Volume Up, while still holding down the other keys.
You should now see the TWRP logo on your screen. Swipe to Allow Modifications.
8.]*Mount Internal Storage in TWRP:*
Go to download mode again and Open ODIN click on AP and the select Stock based custom kernel (SM-J710F-Kernel-6.0.1-nodmv.tar) under Options tab disable Auto Reboot. Click on start, The flashing process will start. Once the flash is complete, Now exit Odin and disconnect your J7 from USB cable, you can pull the battery then place the battery back in again.*
Note 1 As per my experiences, it is recommended to flash the Kernel, then recovery and then "FORMAT DATA" (not only wipe) to disable encryption. Otherwise, TWRP will not be able to mount /data.*Now, use the back button until you're at the menu. Reboot -> Recovery. Now flash ashyx's boot image patch (no-verity-no-encrypt_ashyx) to keep the system from re-encrypting.
12.] Use the back button until you're at the menu. Reboot -> Recovery. Copy and place topjohnwu's Magisk Stable or Magisk Beta zip file to your Internal OR External SD card.
14.] The recovery will start. Select 'install zip'.
15.] Go to and select the Magisk zip which you downloaded. Swipe to Confirm Flash. Flashing process will start. Now flash ashyx's boot image patch (no-verity-no-encrypt_ashyx) to keep the system from re-encrypting.
16.] Reboot -> System.
ENJOY your rooted Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) !!
Install Xposed Framework on J7 (2016) :
Most Android users mainly root their devices only to install Xposed Framework. Xposed Framework is a powerful tool that enables you to modify your ROM as you wish using some tweaks. Xposed Framework can be installed not only on Custom ROMS but also on the Stock ROMS. So using Xposed you can add some tweaks to your Stock ROM or firmware and get the features of a custom ROM.
Preparation for Install Xposed :
Make a nandroid backup using TWRP (in case if anything goes wrong) before installing Xposed Framework.
With the Nandroid backup (which is an excellent feature on custom recoveries like TWRP) you can backup all your current state of your operating system on your device and save it in your SD card or on your Computer storage and restore it at anytime you want. Many people will have perplexity that, If their Stock ROM (Firmware/OS) is rooted would it be able to do a backup of their OS and can able to restore it?. Yes you can do backup of the current state of your firmware with the custom recoveries like TWRP no matter your OS is rooted and made changes by using root.
Steps to install the Xposed Framework for Galaxy J7 (2016) :
1. Open up Magisk Manager.
2. Go to Downloads tab.
3. Search 'Xposed' without the quotes.
4. If you are on Nougat, select the version for SDK 25. If you are on Marshmallow, select the version for SDK 23.
5. Select Install.
6. Reboot.
Enjoy the Xposed framework on your Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) !!
How to use Xposed Installer :
1. Go to Xposed installer app on your phone and select Download.
2. Download and install the different modules you want to tweak your phone. After downloading a modules please don't open the app until you enable it on Xposed framework by going to Module section on xposed installer app and selecting it on the check box there. Then restart your phone to use the module you have installed.

Your guide will be helpful to those still on MM, but why do you have a part in your instructions about flashing a kernel for the J710 (which is the j7 2016, for the j700t which is the 2015) and a totally different phone. If users flash that kernel they WILL bootloop their phones. And the vyper kernel is a nougat kernel and will not work with a MM rom. At all. Fyi, if anyone flashes any kernel, root must be flashed after and the encryption breaker. Each kernel every time. Not being a **** just noticed some issues and figured I'd help clarify

You're right, it was a bit confusing, I'll just take out the part about the kernel.
Wait so have you tested the Magisk Xposed for nougat? I think it's in beta and I am quite terrified of trying it...
Topjohnwu says the behavior should be identical to the original zips. Official xposed for nougat was released a while ago with 'some fixes to Samsung roms' , and some people said they got it to work by deodexing their rom. To avoid that step, we use the magisk xposed. If you are willing to deodex your rom, then you can try the official xposed.

SM-G531M - FRP can't be disabled when logged into Google

Hi! I have flashed successfully a stock rom of Android 5.1.1 on this device (SM-G531M) using the latest Odin. I enabled the developer options and then OEM Unlock and USB Debugging. Flashed TWRP, everything great. Once TWRP was on my device I installed Magisk following the instructions and no problem. So having root access and TWRP on my phone, really happy that no problems came up on the way, I decide to log into my Google account to update and get some apps and here is when the problems appear. I checked that OEM Unlock is still on and reboot my phone to find that FRP is on and can't boot because of root (can't get in recovery either because TWRP is not the stock recovery), so I flash the device again with the stock rom and find out that I can't remove FRP lock to flash TWRP again. I try removing my google account and FRP is off, so I have to choose:
a) root access and TWRP recovery or
b) Google Account and get new apps or update the ones I have.
Nowhere I looked I could find any answer or anyone having this issue. Can someone tell me what am I doing wrong? I really have no idea why this happens, is a Google update that does this to everyone or what's going on?
Thanks in advance!
