Hello,
About 2 weeks ago, someone found on chinese MIUI site, that MIUI is being ported to many a5 and a7 variants, but sadly, not on my a500fu (there is like a5000, a5009, a500f and a500 in update script (i assume that's working)). So there goes question: It is possible to modify that update zip to make it work on a500fu variant? What are differences between a500f and a500fu?
Here is a link to xda thread with link(cannot send link because of 10post limit): http://forum.xda-developers.com/samsung-a-series/development/rom-miui-galaxy-a7-a5-t3370452
It works kinda bad, if you want to, I can mirror it somewhere else.
Have a nice day.
Can someone port the a5 miui rom to a300h version?
miui7 base on 4.4.4!!!!!!My friend test it in a500fu and no bug.

Your friend clearly needed to change update script, because it's missing a500fu variant. How did he managed to install this?
I've made it work by simply editing update-script, but rom is missing almost everything (RIL is not working etc.)
I've been following the general LG G3 Cat. 6 F460 thread created by @realdreams for a while (you can find it here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/general/lg-g3-cat6-f460l-f460k-f460s-owner-t2991923), and while I have found that thread extremely useful and informative, it's gotten to the point where it's very hard to find that info through the (as of posting) 120+ pages of posts.
The main thing I'm usually looking for is a link for a custom ROM, which is sometimes difficult for English speakers like myself to find for this phone since most of the forums where they are posted and developed are in another language. So I've created this thread to try to collect and maintain a list of Custom ROMs for the LG G3 Cat. 6 (F460 K, L, and S variants) only. Generally, it would be nice if with each ROM we got a post with:
The name of the ROM
Android Version of the ROM (Marshmallow, Kitkat, etc)
Base of the ROM (AOSP, Cyanogen, Stock)
Download links, of course! Please include the forum links if possible so that we can Google Translate the changelogs.
If you want to post a brief review of the ROM and/or list some of its features as well, that would be great too! :highfive:
Finally, I'm not a moderator, but I created this thread to try to help de-clutter the F460 General thread. I know that a lot of people still have questions about how to flash ROMs, etc., but this thread is not the best place for that. Please post your questions on the general thread, not on this one!
RadeonMaya
I'll start things off with the ROM I'm currently using.
RadeonMaya 2.1
Android 6.0 Marshmallow

Seems like LG Stock, just without the bloatware. It's not the greatest in terms of battery life, but at least it is fairly stable and performs decently well. I've heard it's good with custom kernels as well, although I've not personally tried one. Flashing Xposed causes the "optimizing app x of y" screen to show at every boot, or at least it does for me.

Great initiative! Could we get also the forum threads instead of the mega links only? That way we can track the change log of those Chinese roms

Hi there Guys, sorry for this very noobish question, but I can't get to acquire the step by step process on how to install MM custom rom to my F460
Currently I'm using CloudyFA's room, if it's not too much too ask, can you please help me with the step by step process, on what Stock rom do I need to flash first? and what customrec do I need to use before flashing custom MM rom?
Also is there any ROM that's mainly built just like the new G5 or V10 stock rom? hehehehe sorry again guys for this noob post, it's been months since I've dealt with flashing custom ROM on my phone.
TIA and more power G3 F460 Users!!!

Hi mcace14, please read the first post at the top of this thread. It has a link to another thread where you can find the help you're looking for. We're trying to keep this particular thread focused on an uncluttered listing of ROMs available for this phone, so this isn't the best thread for questions. I'm sure you'll find the answer you're looking for in the other thread, though.
Hello! do we have fulmics rom for F460? or other rom same as fulmics? Thanks!
Any 6.0.1 based rom? I am unable to Connect my Xiaomi Band 1S in Stock and it seems to be an OS issue.

hi there are u using resurrection remix rom ?? how is it. I'm currently on blur os 3 . .
Hello,
I am looking for a stable security updodate rom for a 9505 s4 ddevice, after browsing some of the threads i have noticed there are quite some broken ROMS out there. Please make some recommendations to try out. What is important for me is:
-stable
- battery
- uptodate no stock or bloat roms
thanks
Im looking for the same, i just cant decide, swinging towards optimized cm13, or maybe slimrom, its a hard choice, haha
cm13 is rebooting spontanously - running nightly. Perhaps i should go for athe latest snapshot- cm-13.0-20160820-SNAPSHOT-ZNH5YAO0J3-jfltexx - instead of a nightly
u may need a new kernel with cm13, the optimised cm has a different kernel which should be better, I think that's right

I found this
https://forum.cyanogenmod.org/topic/128830-cm13-snapshot-20160820-sim-card-reboot-issue/
I've learned the hard way that there are different versions of Redmi 2 and most ROM here is not compatible for my phone (I avoided all threads with WT88047 title on it now, lesson learned).
Is there any AOSP based ROM for my device? Where can I find it. TWRP is already installed.
I think u can flash any aosp based rom like orion or du or zephyr or tesla.
after some research I am coming to this conclusion, please someone correct me if i am wrong:
1 roms for wt88047 work on both wt88047 And wt86047
2 the first time you install a non-miui rom, you need to flash the "firmware" first, this is found on the thread for CyanogenMod on 88047, once that is done you can then flash any 88047 rom
3 what everyone calls the "firmware" is maybe the bootloader? some version of twrp i suppose? I haven't tried yet so am a tad blurry on that.
Hope this helps

Did you ever figure out what the 'firmware' is that other posts refer to? Is it a particular bootloader image?
Hi,
In my opinion the firmware is the package containing modem, etc... It comes from "miui" (xiaomi). It's this link, for example:
https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/wt88047/install
(with a special link for wt86047).
I think the bootloader is more "TWRP", it's definitely not the fw.
I've seen some very limited discussion about using 88047 ROMs on 86047 devices, but I haven't found a definitive and confident answer that, yes, 88047 ROMs can be used on 86047 devices.
Would it be safe for me to download an 88047 ROM and attempt to install it on my 86047?
In my experience it's safe: I've got a wt86047 and i've tried without issues almost every nougat and Oreo official ROM for wt88047 pubblished in this forum.

Just remember to upgrade to lollipop bootloader if you haven't already do that

That's good to know. It's been an absolute pain trying to find details about modding the TW86047 model
