Hi eveybody.
Yesterday night I was watching some YouTub videos but then I fell asleep. I woke up in the middle of the night (4/5 hours later) and my 6T was off, because (I think) it ran out of battery. So, I plugged it into the charger and the "magic" happened. The phone got stuck at "the bootloader is unlocked..." screen. I tried EVERY key combination for recovery, bootloader and force power off, but it's still there. It's almost 5 hours that it's in this state. I can exclude some sort of root-related issue, because before falling asleep I did reboot the phone because I've installed a Magisk module. The PC doesn't recognize the phone.
What should I do? Thanks!
Remove USB cable and hold the pwr and Volume up buttons for at least 15 seconds

I had this exact issue this morning. It took me holding those buttons well over a minute.

Man, I think that the buttons aren't so responsive when in that screen. The first time I tried to root the 6T I had to reboot from the OS, because I couldn't boot with the buttons. Do we have a problem, here?
i'm getting this too! are you guys rooted & flashed permanent twrp? i usually charge w/ my phone booted up. once i get to 100% i turn it off with the charger plugged in. instead of the battery charging animation, i get stuck on the b/L screen just like you guys here. @kantjer's suggestion does work

The issue is related to Magisk.
As long as Magisk is installed, you will have the issue.
I had the same problem where it was getting stuck on the unlocked bootloader screen. I simply had to reinstall Magisk from TWRP and it all worked again.

You don't have this issue anymore? Just by reinstalling Magisk... I have been charging till full then turn off when not using , than power up in the morning... Still sucks though.

Had the exact same issue. Found this thread and this worked. I guess I didn't specifically try Volume Up and only did just Power or Power+Volume Down. Shrugs.
Any fix for this issue? Didn't exactly get what @kantjer had to say.

Happened to me in the beginning too, after setting up magisk and everything. Every single key combination didn't work. Try plugging the charger off and power+vol down. It suddently worked at one point for me, kinda weird.

Yeah just hold down Volume Up+Power for 15+ Seconds. That's it.
So: no solution for this issue?
I can't charge while the phone is off?
Just happened to me too.
I was on beta14, TWRP and magisk enable all going fine
Dirty updated to beta15 (through TWRP, by flashing OTA file, reinstalling TWRP zip, rebooting, then doing my usual business in recovery flashing smurfkernel, magisk, smurkernel again, then booting to system, adding magisk modules and stuff.
When I do reboot to enable the magisk module I get stuck at that dam "the boot loader is unlocked..." spash screen. Pressing vol up + vol down + power does manage to force poweroff the device, but booting up again (be it only power button, or pwr+VolUp, or pwr+VolDown or pwr+VolUp+VolDown) only gets stuck again at that same splashscreen.
Damn it...
Any help is welcome... I hope the device isn't bricked
edit: rinstalled everything (after factory reset, and complete b14 install). it seems its the miracast magisk plugin which is ****ing the bootloader upon reboot >.<

hold power down for 20 seconds. let phone sit for 1 minute. now hold power and volume down. this should bring you to a white reset screen. press power 3 times.

i tried that and nothing happened.
When you plug in USB does charge light come on. Sounds like a battery went dead.
Sent from my LG-D802 using Tapatalk
I've heard some people are having issues with the charge port and/or cord also. Maybe try another cord and make sure it's plugging in tightly? I think the last person covered everything else.

I had the same problem, it occured while switching from cwm to twrp. i used the unbuntu method ( i think you mean this right here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2582142)
are you sure you were in fastboot mode? because i wasnt and it should say so in the top left corner if you were.
try different cords/ usb ports or even pc's to charge it. my mac couldn't find it at all, my windows did.

For me the brick happened when i was flashing KK with TWRP, during the flashing appears something that said "couldn't not mount system" and the phone shut down and never power up again , no usb no charge, no linux, no nothing, when i plug my device in windows appears that the devices cannot install the drivers, and i've tried all the drivers and still doesn't work
Hold power down until phone is completely off. Then, hold power and down volume until you see LG logo. As soon as you see the LG logo, release and then quickly press power and down again. Hold until you see a white screen. Then go from there.

So all you get is a black screen with you boot? There's probably a way to push whatever file might be missing or even an entire ROM but I lack the knowledge on how to do that. I remember I had to work some magic on my Galaxy Nexus but I used a toolkit so I'm afraid I've got no really useful information for you.
This also happened to me!
I am in the same state.
I rooted the LG, I installed the custom Rom, I installed an updated GAPPS and it wasnt working. I then went and installed another GAPPS overtop and I got stuck in boot loop. After I tried recovery from ADB I tried to restore from TRWP and it didnt take. After I rebooted nothing turned on, no LED, I tried ALL button combinations and nothing comes on at all. I am wondering if the phone died and now will not charge...I started with 60% but the last time i saw it it was down to 15% just thinking maybe it died completely and without any software to boot it wont charge...I have had it on charge for 8 hrs since and still nothing...
Please help!

Do you run with stock or custom recovery? Have you tried to (re-)flash a custom recovery (CWM highly recommended)?

Hm, if I understand you correctly, you can boot into download mode but it just lasts a couple of seconds before it reboots on its own, right? You cannot boot into recovery as the screen simply stays black. Can you boot successfully into /system or does it bootloop as well?
Sounds like a hardbrick to me, the only thing I can think of before sending your phone in for repair is to pull out the battery for 1 hour or so, reinsert it and boot directly into download mode and see if it stays there. If it does, flash a custom recovery using Odin and check whether you can boot into it afterwards.

I'm, I was actually, on stock everything, rom, kernel and recovery

OK so I left my phone without a battery in it for the afternoon, just got back home and gave it a try.
It booted. No idea why or what actually went wrong.
Lets hope it doesn't happen again!
OK, So the point that the phone just start booting just the moment the battery is inserted got me thinking
IS IT THE POWER SWITCH?
and indeed it's, the power switch is stuck on, although I can feel the click when I push, still, seems like something is wrong with it
so I tried to suck it out, hit the phone softly few times while the power switch is facing the ground
inserted the battery, aaaand, it didn't start booting, pressed the power softly, and horaaaaay, it's working
Had the same issue and indeed I knocked the power button several times and it worked very well. Thank you! You saved my day

How i identified is as phone switched on i hold menu button and volume down button together and
it booted in download mode, for download mode you have to keep pressing power button, volume
down button and menu button but it went without pressing power button.. so i assume that its power
button.
Try it... hope will identify your problem

Ok, since there is little to no information out there I thought I would share how I created and fixed this problem.
I received a new phone under warranty because of a failing sim card reader. Naturally, the first thing I did once I received it was root it. Next, I thought I would be slick and use flashify to flash a custom recovery (TWRP). Little did I know, with the new version of Android, our phones have a locked bootloader. I freaked out when I saw some weird error messages about it and tried to power off the device in the middle of it booting. BIG MISTAKE. In hindsight, I am assuming that it was re-flashing the factory recovery when I powered it off.
It gave me a solid blue screen for two hours, unless I held the power button for 10 seconds, which would just repeat the process from black screen to solid blue screen repeatedly. I tried to reboot into recovery for 2 hours by holding volume down and power. 2 HOURS!
At that point, I realized that I may have some luck getting it into download mode by powering it off, then powering it on with volume up and power and plugging in a USB cable. VOILA! It booted up normally (somehow) and I got it running the OS.
After that, I made sure that I did a factory reset by reverting to stock using the LG Software Upgrade tool.
The moral of this story is, if you are going to try to install a custom recovery on 4.4.2, make sure you know what you're doing. It turns out an app called AutoRec did the trick for me.

I didn't get the blue screen but I kept getting the security error screen on my d802. To turn it off, I kept holding down the power button for about 10 seconds after the screen went blank. This caused the phone to remain powered off. After that, I was able to boot into download mode. Maybe this method will work for your phone.

Don't know of any other methods because holding down the power button got the phone to turn off and allow me to get into download mode. From download mode, I was able to restore a stock 5.01 ROM to my phone via LG Mobile Support Tools.
LG G2 Bluescreen then no boot after disconnecting battery
Found my LG G2 with a completely blue screen. It would not turn off. Took it apart and disconnected the battery. Reconnected the battery and there was only a blank black screen and the phone would not boot. Zilch. Even with pressing the power button with the volume down to boot into recovery.....still zilch.
I sucessfully got my phone to work again using a hair dryer trick on an LG G3, which I found here.
1. I took the back off the phone, disconnected the battery, and removed the SIM card.
2. I then used a hairdryer on high heat and blew the heat over the uncovered areas for 10 minutes.
3. I let the phone from hot to warm, reconnected the battery and put it all back together with the SIM card replaced.
4. I booted into recovery and restored a TWRP backup, and my LG G2 is working like a champ again.
Hello guys,
A day ago I decided to root my Huawei P10 lite. I unlocked bootloader and flashed TWRP. Everything worked fine. However I was unable to root my phone so I tried to lock bootloader. Thats where my problem started.... I locked bootloader via ADB and then it said the phone will reboot and factory reset. Phone was rebooted but now its ,,stucked" on huawei logo screen and nothing happens.... I just let phone to discharge and when I try to turn it on its still get to the logo screen and nothing. Always when I try to turn phone off it keeps turning on to the logo screen and Im unable to go to recovery or safe mode because button combination dont work. I cant even connect it to the PC via the USB cable....
Any ideas how to fix it (if its even possible) would be much apreciated.
Thanks a lot guys.
So, even you if you mounted the /system partition read-write it gets modified and the signature breaks that's why your phone no longer boots.
Try following: shutdown the phone if you can, press volume down and at the same time plug in the USB cable and unlock the bootloader, then flash the latest firmware for the device using the HwOTA method:

Thats the problem, the phone cant be shut downed by the ,,official" way (hold power button) because it instatly power on after two seconds... Only way how to completely shut down is let the phone discharge.... Anyway when I try to shut down the phone and then instatly press volume down I always get to the logo screen then I get black screen (looks like its trying to do something) and then the phone reboots and again get logo screen... It looks like the phone is gone for good lol

Allright, the phone is gone for good... Whenever I try your trick (volume down + USB) the phone boot up to the OS but then always shut down because of low battery. I tried to charge the battery but it seems like its not charging at all... Got phone on charger for three hours now and still red LED diod shows low battery.... I think this thread can be closed and I will bring the phone to the service center and see if they can fix this or not. Again thanks for the help.

Yeah, now I have it on charger for 5 hours, got huawei logo on screen and red LED diod flashing... Strange thing is the phone is not heating anymore, even charger is cold... When I un-plug the charger the phone shut down in like 5 minutes... When its on charger its not turnning off so I assuming there must be some power coming through the charger to phone then...
This Huawei P10 Lite is quite strange piece of electronic.... Its just booted itself on its own and actually its working just fine... What would you recommend to do, now? battery is charging right now at 16%

I left it plugged on charger and after few hours it booted to the OS, but when I tried to go to Fastboot and Rescue mode it turned off and now It wont boot again. Got stucked on huawei logo screen again.
My phone battery went to 0% earlier and I plugged it back in to charge.
Annoyingly, this phone tries to turn on when you plug it in and it's dead/off. So it tried to boot the phone and I got the typical boot loader unlocked warning screen.
Now I can't turn off the phone or do anything with it. Does not respond to fastboot/ADB.
Try pressing power + Volume up and down buttons simultaneously for like 10" / 15"
Yes try those two buttons, same thing happened to me. By any chance are you rooted with Magisk? I was when that happened, and from reading around I gather there might currently be a bug in Magisk that causes that. It's not really a bootloop, it just gets stuck but will boot up eventually. Although I was not at 0% battery.

Beta. 17.3
I had the issue on the latest stable Magisk 17.1. There was no problem for the first few days, but then it did happen
me too it happened on Magisk beta 17.3. Volume up and Power restarted it.
According to me this is completely normal and the way out of the apparent "frozen" screen is by pressing the Volume + and power button simultaneously for about 5 seconds and the phone should restart on its own
Thanks
