[Joying] using FM transmitter controls, to control headunit - Android Head-Units

Hi,
I searched the forum and internet and couldn’t find an answer to my issue. So recently I realized i wanted to control my headunit via Bluetooth controls. I have a Joying single din headunit (doesn’t actually matter) and the original joying iDrive like remote is simply too big for my center console + I hate the aftermarket Bluetooth buttons for steering wheels. So I saw some cool looking fm transmitters on AliExpress which feature bluetooth Media controls + two usb charger slots which looks perfect! My cigarette lighter is placed in a slim slot near my handbrake so that would be a perfect solution

My question is: I want to modify this transmitter in order to connect the headunit to be able to use its Bluetooth media controls BUT not use the actual FM audio output feature. The look and practicality is very convenient but the FM function is useless for me since I’m using Spotify and CarPlay on my android headunit too. Would that be possible ??
Thanks in advance

Very stylish, and uses external antenna too.
Benefits:
- Looks good, especially with VW colour scheme
- Charges the phone
- Uses the external car antenna
- Info and Service buttons available & working
- Easy to fit and use
- Easy to use the built-in nav
Option things you could do (but I didn't)
- Connect headset audio to stereo Aux-In and use HTC Tytn II as MP3 player through car stereo
- Or fit an external speaker with built-in amp to get louder nav voice (I might do this)
Thanks 4 sharing some info please
Your adaptation looks great. Could you post a few details as to Bury model number (the US seems to carry blackberry styles only), where you found antenna lead and any tricks you encountered.
THanks

But then my question is to:
Is it possible to root this head unit?
Is it possible to put on a bigger hdd? (Seller says it only allows 32GB, But i want a usb hdd (around 250-500GB for my music) connected to it.)
Is it possible to update the android version to a newer one?
If this one is not so good, what would you reccomend?
Please do note:
I want to add this stuff extra to it:
DAB+
Rear view camera
2 front speakers, 2 tweeters, 2 rear speakers + subwoofer (Can be connected trough a external amplifier)
Tomtom Navigation App
Budget:
Around €300 max! (Thats about $350) I can't buy trough amazon so i am limited to expensive brands or aliexpress....

[TS9][SC9853I]Bluetooth two way

My android head unit is for madza2 2015
spec below
Purpose : I want to control RSX-GS9(radio receiver) by HU via bluetooth. But cannot connect.
From below photo i know my HU has two way bluetooth
- Bluetooth for audio (Car app interface)
- Bluetooth for OBD (Android interface)
I have to connect RSX-GS9 by bluetooth for audio but their require password to pair. For sure my RSX-GS9 cannot input password,so I cannot pair
I try to pair by bluetooth for OBD it’s success pair because it’s normal android interface no any require.
But cannot RSX-GS9 application for control.
So, please suggest me how can I connect RSX-GS9 via bluetooth audio without password require.

Joying Head Units Bluetooth workaround?

Sorry to bother you guys but figured I have tried two of the resident experts on this type of stuff with no luck, and I apologize that I am not very knowledgeable on this stuff. I totally redid my 84 Monte Carlo SS both outside and now finishing up the inside of it. While doing so I came up with the idea of having a dedicated head unit run a backup camera, air ride controls, and other accessory type of stuff. While having a second unit run the stereo and front facing DVR, I thought I was all set because it had Bluetooth and I avoided the issue of having my phone run bluetooth stereo on one while the other would be able to bluetooth for the air ride.
What I currently have is these two units, JY-UOS02N4PX5S and UK-JY-UOS01P4V. The UK-JY-UOS01P4V is the unit I was hoping to run the Ridetech air ride app on to control the air ride. But I can change how I have the two setup if it would make a difference, but think they are pretty much the same specs except that the UK-JY-UOS01P4V has fast boot which is part of the reason for choosing to run it on the accessory stuff. Thanks for your time and sorry for creating another thread but have searched through and not found anything related to my specific units. Here is a pic of the basic setup of them to mimic modern cars to a point.

android headunit help needed

Hello all,
I installed a chinese headunit to my car (grand cherokee 2013 with premium sound system),i had to modify the wiring harness becuase the sound system only receives the front speakers and the amplifier in the car does the rest of the work, now everything works fine except call audio in carplay because it seems to use only the line coming out of the headunit to the back speakers, call audio on bluetooth works well.
i have tried everything possible in the available settings in the headunit but no luck to make the integrated carplay to use the line of the front speakers, carplay uses a built in app called car link 2.0 which doesnt have much settings to customize it.
i am considering rooting the system to gain more access to the settings, and hopefully find a work around, the attached image is the info of the headunit, it says android 13 but actually it is 8.1, i need help rooting it and i have no experience wahtsoever in android systems.
or if there is a work around this problem without rooting it, it would be a great help, i have tried all the possible solution that show up in google search and no luck.
